Chapter 806: Chapter 807– Top Hat – Part 22.
<<New London.>>
<<The city of pure corruption and pleasure.>>
<<The main reason why the Britain ended up in ruins in the past.... And they are one of the reasons why countless people have died recently....>>
<<The reason why the Red monsters were even born was to create means to destroy the New London and "save" the Britan.>>
<<Obviously I now know that these researches never cared about the Britan survival, they only cared about power.>>
<<...>>
<<But still... I saw firsthand, that all the stories they had told me about the New London.... Were indeed true.>>
<<I saw them myself.>>
<<The truth.>>
<<And honestly?>>
<<It was far uglier than I’ve could had even imaged.... No... It was way worse compare to what these bastard said to me.>>
<<When the Red monsters started their rampage, these bastards didn’t tried getting rid of them.>>
<<No.>>
<<They just wanted to avoid dealing with the Red monsters as much as possible.>>
<<If anything, they saw this as a chance.>>
<<With the Old London gone, the only thing that was holding them back.... It didn’t even took one second for the New London to revert to their old ways.>>
<<To the ways of the old nobility.>>
<<Murder.>>
<<Rape.>>
<<Plunder.>>
<<They were not even acting like bandits.>>
<<No.>>
<<They were acting like animals.>>
<<I wanted to know WHY!>>
<<I’ve tortured.>>
<<I’ve beaten up.>>
<<I’ve straight up even used some fucked up tools that I’ve stolen from them to extract the information from the New London soldiers!>>
<<BUT THEY ALL GAVE THE SAME REPLY! NO MATTER WHO I TORTURED!>>
<<The answer was always the same.>>
<<Supplies.>>
<<And slaves.>
<<They always told me about these things.>>
<<But why!?>>
<<The number of the towns and villages that I’ve had encountered, that were attacked by the New London.... It was extremely large.>>
<<In term of size, the New London should be somewhat as big as the Old London.... But why?>>
<<I mean, do they really need THAT many slaves? That many supplies?>>
<<Something wasn’t right, no matter how I thought about this.>>
<<...>>
<<And I couldn’t leave the New London on the rampage.>>
<<I do also want to get rid of the Red Dragon and the remaining Red monsters.... But at the same time, these bastards may try to pull something while I’m dealing with the Red beings.>>
<<So, the only way to do this, will be to target the New London first.>>
<<...>>
<<Still... This hand.>>
<<I can "feel" it.>>
<<The power.>>
<<...>>
<<But I won’t use it to make Red monsters.>>
<<Even if those fuckers deserve this! I won’t fucking use it to turn them into the Red monsters!>>
<<If I do that.... Then there maybe.... No.... NO! I FUCKING REFUSE IT!>>
<<I won’t be using this corrupted blood!>>
<<...>>
<<Still.... I could tell this.>>
<<I’m dying.>>
<<I’m able to freely use this hand’s power and authority... But at the same time, I’ve realized that this pure divinity of the Red Man is nothing more than self-destruction.>>
<<It isn’t what I was, nor the Red monsters.... No... We do not share that "Self-destruction.">>
<<This isn’t the hand’s fault either.... It is just this "mad divine bloodlust".>>
<<...>>
<<Good.>>
<<It is good that there is something that will make sure that I will die.>>
<<It doesn’t really looks like I’m anywhere near reaching my time limit.... If I’m "feeling" it correctly, I have 5 years left.>>
<<Still, I need to "cleanse" this filthy land from all of these monsters.>>
<<And just one year will do.... Maybe even less.>>
<<...>>
<<I’ve headed to the New London.... And reached it.>>
<<....And when I did, I saw.... It was.... Different.>>
<<I saw countless different settlements, some were somewhat older looking, a less technology advance compare to the Old London.... But that place?>>
<<It looked.... Way different.>>
<<The massive walls that completely covered the skies.... Just by looking at them and inspecting them, I could tell that they were far more technology advance, compare to the Old London’ walls, which were already packed to the brim with weapons and defensive machines.>>
<<I saw the Red monsters, a wild ones, attacking that city.>>
<<But.... In the next moment, several cannons sprouted from the walls, while from the ground, giant machine construct machine sprouted.>>
<<The machines slaughtered the monsters, and those who tried to run away were gunned down by the massive cannons.>>
<<A total destruction.>>
<<And if I were to even walk up to these walls.... I would get destroyed right on the spot.>>
<<...>>
<<That is if I didn’t had undergone this new transformation.>>
A lone figure walked through through the devastated field... A field filled with bones of the animals, monsters and Red beings.
Jack.
Her appearance... It was different.
It wasn’t a figure covered in the ragged bandages and destroyed clothing.
No.
She looked way different.
Her clothing, they looked somewhat manly.... Which at the same time, completely hidden ones gender.
On top of her regular cloths, she also wore a coat, a long one, a neat and well maintained one.
However, her left arm?
It was now "monster" like, with the red rock like structure in forms of claws covering her entire left arm as well as the forearm.
And her head.... One thing that stood out was the top hat... Not a perfect one, since upon closer inspection you could tell that it was destroyed several times over, causing the woman to repair it over and over, in order to try to keep its original shape....
...
However, the most inhuman part of her body was her head.
A head completely covered in faces of countless different people.
Yes...
This was her appearance.
The appearance of the Forgotten Murder that GreyHunt’s team had fought.
This was Lucy.
This was Jack.
"..."
["Hold."}
However, as Jack was coming closer to the walls of the New London, the ground in front of her opened up.
And in the very next moment, something risen from it.
A massive machine of steel.
A machine of "technology".
["This is a land of the New London."]
["State your business."]
"..."
The massive machine humanoid being towered over Jack.... But she didn’t cared one bit.
Instead, she just looked around.... And saw one of the corpses of "people".
"..."
(They are not Red monsters.) – thought Jack as she reached with her hand and touched the corpse.... Causing the blood from the rooting corpses to start moving on its own and go right into the arm.
And in the next moment, Jack saw it.
The memory inside of that blood.
A memory of the village.
A memory of the slaughter.
A memory of the kidnapping of the loved ones.
And the memory of the burning revenge and rescue, as few young men and women tried saving their loved ones before being brought into the city.... And then... The humanoid machines.... Fallowed up by death.
"..."
(Tried to save the loved ones... But failed.) – thought Jack, as she understood the memories that she saw.
["Warning."]
["Identify yourself right now, or face termination."]
"..." – but Jack kept completely ignoring the machine being... Before then noticing a handle right next to the corpse of the rooting corpse of a young man... Which Jack pulled out, revealing it to be a saber... Or more exactly, a saber without blade... Just a handle.
["WARNING!"]
["This is the second warning. Identification or extermination."]
(I will take revenge for you....) – thought Lucy as she still ignored the machine.
(One year.)
(Use one year of my life.) – Jack grabbed the broken handle with her red claws.... Which in the next moment caused a massive surge of the energy to burst out alongside a massive of volume of fresh blood to start spilling out from the red hand.
["!?"]
["Threat detected."]
["Proceeding with extermination."] – announced the machine, as it instantly swung its massive metallic arm at Jack.
["?!"] – but in the instance, Jack just used her human hand to grab the metallic arm, and easily stop it in place.
Jack wasn’t bothered one bit by it... If anything, it didn’t looked like it was even paying attention to the massive machine.
Even when more machines started emerging and the walls’ automatic cannons activated, Jack didn’t cared.... As the blood and divinity formed around the broken weapon, reborning it at the something new.
And then it came to life.
A saber.
A pitch red blade with edge looking like a savage fangs.
But it wasn’t some sort of random weapon made from blood.
No.
It was a divine weapon.
A weapon of a god.
"Huh.... It really worked?" – said Jack as she nonchelated just knocked back the entire machine with her one hand, before then just tossing the red jagged blade saber from her monster hand, to her human hand.
However, the machines and the cannons weren’t standing still.
They unleashed their attacks and assaults at the invader....
...
But in the next moment, she swung it.
The red blade.
And the moment it did, countless jaws and fangs appeared, straight up devouring and slaughtering everything they had touched.
Be it bullets or cannons.
Be it machines or magic.
Everything was straight up "murdered" on the spot.
"..."
"Huh..."
"Nice."
