Chapter 534: Chapter 534 – Flying Island – Part 4.

The massive stick bug monster unleashed its legs one after another at Thanatos, aiming to trap Thanatos with a fury of blows.

"[Acid Blade: Red Acid Sword]." – however Thanatos calmly countered by covering her blade with red acid, before then unleashing an attack that kept all the legs at the bay.

[Acid Warrior] – [Rarity: Epic]

[A class that specializes in using acid as a form of enchantment of attack combination with any weapon. This class specializes in using physical type, even the acid attribute attacks are consider physical type.]

Thanatos smashed her scythe against the creature’s legs, ripping off bits of its body, which seemly made the creature more agitated as it tried in desperation stopping Thanatos.

"[Acid Blade: Blue Acid Axe]." – But Thanatos wasn’t going to let the creature stop her, as she swung her axe and unleashed a massive blue explosion that countered the boss monster own counter.

"[Acid Blade: Yellow Acid Arrow]!" – after unleashing her counter, Thanatos quickly fallowed up by swinging her scythe and firing off an arrow like projectile that quickly traversed the air and struck the boss monster right in its face, piercing it and making the creature for the very first-time scream.

([Acid Warrior] is extremely strong class, there is no doubt about it.) – thought Thanatos as she dodged the rampaging legs while at the same time counter attacking over and over again.

(However, this class has a massive downside.)

(Extremely long cooldowns.)

(Still, despise having huge cooldowns for every single skill, every single strike has a lot of power.) – thought Thanatos as she repelled one of the legs, dealing critical damage to it, which in turn triggered the stick bug to start off the detonation, forcing Thanatos to quickly run away as the leg detonated, once again unleashing a devastating explosion which also unleashed a hail of spike shards everywhere.

After detonating its leg, the boss monster once again tried rapidly restoring its lost limb... But Thanatos wasn’t having it as she used her [Blood Mist Rush], quickly getting to the already being repaired limb.

"[Acid Blade: Green Acid Scythe]!" – Thanatos struck the creature in its regenerating limb, straight up cutting off the slimy limb before it could restore itself.

"SO, I CAN HURT YOU LIKE THIS TOO?!" – shouted Thanatos as the creature screamed in agony once.

The creature tried unleashing barrage of blows once again.... But nothing was work working now.

The moment Thanatos stopped being carefully about not using her stronger skills and just going all out, had straight up changed the entire flow of the battle.

The creature legs were being ripped apart, despise having such hard shell.

But question... How?

Is it just because Thanatos started using stronger skills?

Well, yes... But for more than one reason.

Acid.

Each of the "acid" type classes have 1 main characteristic that all of them share.

The {defense reduction}.

Each time the acid attack landed on the creature, it resulted in the defense of this creature being reduced.

(But fuck me! The cooldown is way too big pain in the ass!) – thought Thanatos as she struck once again the restoring limb, destroying it once again and dealing critical damage to the creature.

"Wait, why aren’t you using explosion?" – said Thanatos as she realized that by now the creature should be able to detonate its limb once again.

(By any chance it is wary of losing too many limbs?)

(Or maybe they can’t detonate when they are regenerating?!) – thought Thanatos as she started putting more pressure on the creature, taking risker moves as she aimed to stack up as much damage as possible, while also not letting the creature to regrow its lost limb.

Damage was being stacked over and over again.... And before long.

A limb was cut off.

"!"

(Even when that leg was good as gone, it still didn’t detonated it?!) – thought Thanatos as she realized that the creature may had revealed its main weakness to the Thanatos.

And Thanatos straight up abused it.

The creature tried regrowing both of its limbs, but Thanatos wasn’t letting it recover.

And as more legs were cut off, the slower the attack rate would become.

One by one, each limb of the creature were cut off... Before then finally, all six legs were cut off, resulting in the creature getting pinned down to the ground.

Obviously, the creature tried regrowing all six legs at the same time... But Thanatos was already done with the creature as she started unleashing fury of blows on stop.... Which before long ended up shattering the head of the creature.

"Fucker finally dead..." – said Thanatos as she sat down.

(Even when I figured out that bastard weakness, he was still tough opponent until I cut off the third leg.... Still, that bastard could hurt me.) – thought Thanatos as she was forced to take out few potions she was storing and drink them.

"Good thing that I figured out his weakness... But if I did it much later, then I would definitely waste way too many good stuff early on."

(Still, this is the first boss of this floor?)

<<His specialties were about this too, which made just moving around extremely hard.>>

<<But once I took out his eyes, the fight was easy.>>

<<And then finally, the fourth fight.>>

[Pride Lion]

A massive black lion with a golden mane towered over Thanatos in the savanna looking room, which was standing on the massive podium like rock, looking down at the Thanatos from above.

"Huh...."

(It.... Looks like just big lion?)

(Weird... The other bosses looked like some kind of animals corrupted by an eldritch touch or some shit.... But that guy just have different colors?)

(Kind of weird.) – thought Thanatos as she noticed the cooldown on her summons being over, allowing her to summon some reinforcement to her side.

"So, what is your g-"

[You have been affected by the [Dominance Of Pride].]

[All of your stats have decreased by 25%]

"..."

"Wut?" – said Thanatos as she just looked at her stats.

"?!"

"OH! THAT IS FUCKING BULLSHIT!" – shouted Thanatos as the lion roared.

(Fuck me! A 25% debuff to all stats from the get go!?) – thought Thanatos as the massive lion rushed at Thanatos at the rabid speed, forcing the vampire to quickly dodge the attack.... And watch as single strike from the claw devastated the whole area.

"..."

"NOPE!" – shouted panicking Thanatos as the giant feral beast tried attacking Thanatos over and over again, but the woman was able to somewhat dodge the attacks and block off some, even with her reduced stats.

(It is not as fast as that as the stick bug! But the fuck is this power?!)

(Even tanks wouldn’t be able to survive for long!) – thought Thanatos as the massive lion opened up its jaws.

[You have been afflicted by the [Pride Roar].]

[You have been {stunned}.]

"!?"

"DEFE-"

Thanatos instantly tried commanding her monsters to act like meat shields... But the {stun} effect wasn’t just targeting her.

The roar ended up stunning every single monster serving Thanatos.

(AOE STUN?!) – thought Thanatos as she saw in the next moment the massive paw coming her way.

"Shit." – said Thanatos as her entire body was just swatted by the massive claw, which ended up just launching Thanatos across the room, and then just bounce off the ground... As she then rolled and stopped.

[You are no longer {stunned}.]

"...Ow." – said Thanatos as she saw that her HP bar taking extremely massive hit after the strike.

"!" – however, Thanatos wasn’t given even time to complain as the massive lion straight up leaped at her location, forcing Thanatos to quickly get away as the massive creature just obliviated the entire area with its leap.

"FOR FUCK’S SAKE! THAT IS JUST BULLSHIT AND LAZY!"

(A freaking 25% decrees in all stats and AOE stun from the freaking get go?!)

(AND THIS ATTACK POWER ON TOP OF THAT?!)

(For crying out loud!)

(I think I would really just rather fight two of these stick bugs instead!) – thought Thanatos as the lion once again charged at Thanatos and tried biting her, but Thanatos counter attacked with [Shadow Rouge], dodging the attack by partially turning herself into the shadow and unleashing a counter slash attack with her scythe.

"...Oh, this part here is even bigger bullshit."- said Thanatos as she realized that the creature barely took any damage.

(Seriously! Who the hell designed this lion?!)

(What next?! He has some gimmick that makes his speed equal to that mantis?! Just make it an overpowered copy of it?!)

"..."

(Please don’t do it.)

(I mean it.)

(He will really kill me if that guy has any speed boost.)
