Chapter 98: Young Master Mode Activated
Damian turned his head toward the second screen to see what kind of return Akane had given him.
---
[Target: Akane]
[Gift Given: Low-Rank Noble Grade Sword: Dark Moon]
[200× Critical Multiplier Activated]
[Reward Obtained: High-Rank Royal Grade Sword: Crimson Thunder Eclipse]
---
Damian looked at the return and grinned widely. "As expected, I got a sword return. And damn, this one is even High-Rank Royal Grade."
He quickly checked his storage ring to see what kind of sword he had received.
When he took it out, he was genuinely surprised.
Its body was dark crimson, almost black under the light, while thin thunder-like purple lines ran across the blade.
The hilt was wrapped in black leather, and a faint burning pressure spread from it, mixed with a sharp thunder aura.
It looked really dangerous and quite high-class.
Most importantly, it looked like something Damian could shamelessly use while acting cool.
"Crimson Thunder Eclipse... what a great name."
This new sword really complemented his strongest sword art.
But still, he quickly thought of something else.
If Selvara asked where his old sword went and where this new Royal Grade sword came from...
Damian thought about it for a moment before waving his hand, ignoring the problem. "I’ll think about that later."
After all, thinking about trouble before it arrived was bad for his mood, so he quickly changed his focus.
"Now, since I gave Akane my sword, I should also buy some gifts for Violetta and Vulkara. But what kind of gifts should I give them?"
Violetta needed something elegant and suitable for her music path.
Maybe a music instrument.
Vulkara needed something practical, fiery, and strong enough to match her blacksmith dream.
So it should be a hammer.
Also, as Selvara’s core disciple, buying a few Top-Rank Profound Grade pieces of equipment directly should not be difficult for him... right?
Thinking about this, he turned his destination toward the blacksmith hall to see if he could buy some Top-Rank Profound Grade equipment.
When he arrived, even from a distance, Damian could already hear the sound of hammers striking metal and feel the heat rolling through the air.
The Heavenly Sword Sect was a sword sect, so its blacksmith shops were far better than ordinary market shops outside.
Several disciples walked in and out of the hall, some carrying swords, some carrying spears, and some arguing loudly about prices.
Damian looked around with interest. "Not bad at all. Let’s see if I can use my identity like those young masters. I want to try it at least once."
---
Damian stepped into the blacksmith hall confidently, and the moment he entered, a wave of heat rushed toward him, making his robe flutter slightly.
Inside, dozens of furnaces burned bright red. Hammers struck metal again and again, filling the hall with sharp ringing sounds.
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
Damian looked around and nodded with satisfaction. "Not bad. This place has the proper atmosphere."
Several disciples working near the entrance glanced at him, surprised to find an unfamiliar person they did not recognize suddenly appearing there.
One of them frowned slightly and walked over. "This is the inner blacksmith hall. Ordinary disciples cannot enter casually."
Damian raised an eyebrow and grinned because this was the moment.
The moment where he could act like a true young master.
He reached into his robe, took out his core disciple token, and showed it to them. The moment it appeared, their expressions changed.
Damian lifted his chin slightly and said with a lazy smile, "Is this enough? Or do I need to call my master to confirm my identity?"
The disciple stiffened after hearing that.
When the surrounding disciples saw his reaction, they also looked over and froze in surprise.
Damian waved his token once, looking completely shameless. "If there is nothing more, go and bring me the best Top-Rank Profound Grade hammer for blacksmithing and the best music instrument you have."
The disciple woke up from his shock and quickly lowered his head. "Please wait a moment, Senior Brother."
After saying that, he hurried away.
Damian watched him leave and rubbed his chin with satisfaction. "Damn... acting like a young master feels pretty good."
However, the situation soon became different from what he expected.
The disciple did not return with his equipment.
Instead, he returned with a tall, middle-aged man Damian did not recognize.
The man’s face was rough, his eyes were blazing, and his thick arms were covered in strength. He wore dark-gray robes that looked quite high-quality.
Most importantly, the pressure around him was not weak at all.
It was even a bit stronger than his master’s.
That was why Damian suddenly froze.
This man must be an elder.
The middle-aged man looked Damian up and down before speaking in a slightly arrogant tone. "Who are you?"
Damian immediately adjusted his expression and smiled. "Elder, I am Damian, Elder Selvara’s new disciple."
The elder’s brows moved slightly. "Oh? So you’re that new lucky lecherous disciple?"
Damian froze, and his smile quickly disappeared. "Lecherous...? I am not a lecherous guy."
The elder raised his brow. "Are you sure about that? I have heard a lot about you from the rumors."
Damian quickly waved his hand. "Elder, there must be some misunderstanding. I am not like that. The rumors are just slandering me."
The elder crossed his arms. "Really? I heard you brought two beautiful female disciples back with you."
Damian’s mouth twitched.
The elder continued, "I also heard rumors that you have been flirting with top inner disciples like Raika and Akane."
Damian blinked in surprise.
For a moment, he did not know whether to laugh or sigh.
"What the hell is this? How can the rumors already spread this fast? And how do they know so much about my personal life?"
In the end, Damian only smiled shamelessly. "Elder, the rumors are true, but the conclusion is wrong."
The elder raised an eyebrow. "Wrong?"
Damian nodded seriously. "Yes. I do like beautiful women. I also flirt with them and give them gifts."
The surrounding disciples silently looked at him.
Damian placed one hand over his chest and spoke with a righteous face.
"But I do not force anyone into the bedroom. I don’t threaten them, trick them, or use my status to pressure them."
He lifted his chin proudly. "So I am not lecherous. I am simply a female lover."
The hall became completely quiet. In everyone’s mind, there was only one sentence.
"What the hell is the difference? Aren’t a female lover and a lecherous guy basically the same?"
The elder also stared at him for a moment, having the exact same thought as the other disciples, but unlike them, he directly blurted it out. "That sounds the same."
Damian immediately shook his head. "Not the same, Elder. Very different. Let me explain..."
The elder rubbed his forehead and sighed, stopping him. "Fine, fine, fine. Seeing that you are Selvara’s disciple, I give up."
Damian’s eyes brightened. "Thank you, Elder."
The elder glanced at him. "My name is Elder Garron. I am an inner sect blacksmith elder."
Damian immediately cupped his hands. "Greetings, Elder Garron."
Elder Garron snorted. "Stop acting polite after causing trouble the moment you enter."
Damian smiled innocently. "Elder, I was only trying to buy things."
Garron looked at the core disciple token in his hand. "With that attitude?"
Damian coughed. "I wanted to experience it once. After all, like you said, I am a lucky guy, so I wanted to act like a young master once."
Elder Garron stared at him for a moment before letting out another helpless sigh. "Selvara really accepted a strange one this time."
Damian grinned. "I get that a lot."
