Chapter 154: Friends of Treasure Chests
Linsey and Helena led Damian deeper into the female inner disciple area.
After walking for a while, Linsey stopped in front of a quiet courtyard and smiled. "Senior Brother Damian, this is our place."
Damian looked at the courtyard, then at the two women. "Oh? You’re inviting me into your room already?"
Helena’s mouth twitched. "Senior Brother, please don’t make it sound strange."
Damian placed a hand over his chest. "I am innocent."
Linsey giggled softly. "That is the least believable thing you have said today."
Damian grinned. "That hurts, Junior Sister Linsey."
Helena opened the door and gestured inside. "Come in. Our friends are already waiting."
Damian followed them into the room.
The room was clean and elegant, with soft cushions, a low tea table, and faint spiritual incense drifting through the air.
Two women were already seated inside.
One had long hair, calm eyes, and a refined expression. The other had short hair, sharp eyebrows, and a confident smile.
Linsey smiled and introduced them. "Senior Brother Damian, this is Evelyn."
The long haired woman nodded politely. "Senior Brother Damian."
Linsey then gestured toward the short haired woman. "And this is Cynthia."
Cynthia smiled. "We have heard quite a bit about you."
Damian’s eyes moved across the two women, and the system quickly reacted.

Damian’s grin almost appeared immediately.
"As expected. Friends of treasure chests have a good chance of becoming treasure chests too."
His eyes brightened slightly.
"Seventy times and sixty times. Not bad at all."
He quickly controlled his expression and smiled like a proper senior brother. "Junior Sister Evelyn, Junior Sister Cynthia, nice to meet you."
Cynthia raised an eyebrow. "You look very pleased."
Damian smiled shamelessly. "Of course. Meeting beautiful junior sisters is always pleasant."
Helena sighed. "There it is."
Evelyn covered her mouth and laughed softly.
Damian glanced at the four women and rubbed his chin. "So, the four of you are friends?"
Linsey nodded. "Yes. We often train and take missions together."
Helena added, "We are also among the top inner disciples."
Cynthia leaned back slightly and smiled. "All four of us are at the Ninth Stage Foundation Establishment Realm."
Damian paused.
For the first time, genuine surprise appeared on his face. "Wait. All four of you?"
Evelyn nodded calmly. "Yes."
Damian blinked before suddenly realizing something.
He had always focused on their multipliers first.
Since Linsey and Helena’s multipliers were only fifty times, he had never bothered checking their full information seriously.
Now that he thought about it, that was actually pretty stupid.
"Damn. These treasure chests are stronger than I thought."
A moment later, Damian quickly relaxed.
After all, he was also at the Ninth Stage Foundation Establishment Realm now.
There was no need to feel jealous at all.
---
Damian looked at the four women sitting around the tea table and suddenly smiled. "Since we’re already here, why don’t you tell me about yourselves first?"
Linsey blinked. "About ourselves?"
Damian nodded seriously. "Of course. You already know a lot about me, right? Shameless, generous, handsome, slightly misunderstood, and tragically burdened with too much charm."
Helena’s mouth twitched. "That last part is new."
Cynthia laughed softly. "Slightly misunderstood?"
Evelyn smiled politely but did not comment.
Damian waved his hand. "Details are not important. What matters is that I’m still kind of new here. I don’t know much about the inner disciples, especially beautiful and talented ones like you."
Helena sighed. "At least you admit you know nothing."
Damian placed a hand over his chest. "Junior Sister Helena, your words wound me."
Linsey giggled before speaking first. "Alright. I’ll start. My name is Linsey. I cultivate Wind Qi."
Damian raised an eyebrow. "Wind Qi? Not Sword Qi?"
Linsey nodded. "Not everyone in the Heavenly Sword Sect is a sword cultivator. Sword cultivation is the strongest path here, but the sect is powerful because it has good resources, strong elders, and many cultivation methods."
Helena added, "Many disciples join because the Heavenly Sword Sect is one of the strongest sects in the region, not because they all want to become pure sword cultivators."
Damian rubbed his chin. "That makes sense."
Linsey smiled. "I use a light movement style and a short blade. My strengths are speed and scouting."
Damian nodded. "Fast beauty. Very good."
Linsey laughed. "I’ll accept that."
Helena spoke next. "I cultivate Earth Qi. I focus more on defense and formation support."
Damian looked slightly surprised. "Formation support?"
Helena nodded. "Simple formations, barriers, and defensive positioning. I’m not a real formation master, but I can support a team."
Damian’s eyes brightened. "Reliable beauty. Also very good."
Helena rolled her eyes. "You really name everything based on beauty?"
"Only beautiful things," Damian replied shamelessly.
Cynthia leaned back and smiled. "I cultivate Water Qi. I specialize in flexible combat, healing support, and weakening enemies."
Damian blinked. "Healing support?"
Cynthia nodded. "Minor healing, not like a true physician. Enough to keep a team alive during missions."
Damian gave her a thumbs-up. "Useful beauty. Excellent."
Evelyn finally spoke in a calm voice. "I cultivate Ice Qi."
Damian turned toward her.
Evelyn continued, "I use long-range freezing techniques and crowd control. I joined the Heavenly Sword Sect because my family wanted me to enter a top sect with stable resources."
Damian slowly nodded. "Ice beauty. Classic and powerful."
Evelyn covered her mouth and laughed softly. "You are exactly like the rumors."
Damian grinned. "Good rumors, I hope."
Helena looked at him flatly. "Not really."
Damian ignored her and looked at the four women with growing interest.
"Wind, Earth, Water, and Ice. Not sword cultivators, but all at the Ninth Stage Foundation Establishment Realm."
A thoughtful look appeared on his face.
"Now, what kind of gifts should I give them?"
His eyes slowly moved across Linsey, Helena, Cynthia, and Evelyn.
"If I want a critical reward, ordinary gifts won’t be enough. I need something that actually makes them feel shocked."
Damian rubbed his chin, and his grin gradually became more shameless.
"Something useful and perfectly suited to each of them..."
The four women noticed his expression and suddenly felt a little nervous.
Helena narrowed her eyes. "Senior Brother Damian... why are you smiling like that?"
Damian immediately looked righteous. "Nothing. I’m simply thinking about how to care for my beautiful junior sisters."
