Chapter 122: Damian Enters Treasure Mine

Damian looked at Vivian closing Nolan’s file, then slowly smiled.

"Since that matter is over for now..." Damian rubbed his hands together and looked around the elegant inner hall. "Master, can we take a look around Heavenly Palace?"

Selvara frowned immediately. "Damian."

Damian’s smile froze slightly. "Yes, Master?"

Selvara looked at him with cold eyes. "You are just as perverted as that bastard Nolan."

Damian’s expression changed. "Master, that comparison hurts."

Selvara said flatly, "We are going home now."

Damian quickly raised both hands. "Wait, wait, wait. Master, even though I admit I am a little perverted, I never force women to do the deed with me anymore."

The room suddenly became silent.

Violetta blinked.

Vivian raised an eyebrow.

Selvara’s eyes narrowed dangerously. "Anymore?"

Damian coughed hard. "I mean, the old me was trash. But I have changed, you see?"

He pointed at himself seriously. "Look at me now. Even though Violetta is really beautiful, I never made a move on her."

Violetta’s face turned slightly red.

Damian continued, "And you know me, Master. I may like beautiful women, but I still have principles."

Selvara stared at him without expression. "Yeah, right."

Damian’s mouth twitched. "Master, your trust in me is truly moving."

Vivian suddenly laughed softly. "Ooh, Damian, huh?"

Damian looked at her. "What?"

Vivian smiled with clear amusement. "Actually, I also have a file on you."

Damian froze.

Then his eyes widened. "Damn. You have mine too?"

Vivian rested her chin on one hand and said casually, "Of course. Heavenly Palace pays attention to interesting people."

Damian suddenly had a bad feeling.

Vivian’s smile became teasing. "Damian. The last remaining young master of a declining family. Used family treasures to live a lecherous, drunken, and wasteful life. Somehow lucky enough to reach the Foundation Establishment Realm despite poor discipline and shallow talent."

Damian’s face darkened. "That’s from long ago."

Vivian nodded calmly. "Yes. A few months ago."

Damian’s mouth twitched.

Vivian continued, "But after that, new information appeared."

Her purple eyes became more interested. "Damian suddenly became generous toward women, but strangely, he stopped sleeping around."

Selvara glanced at Damian.

Damian looked righteous. "See? Improvement."

Selvara ignored him.

Vivian smiled and continued, "Then he suddenly became stronger, offended the Night Fragrance Pavilion, became the target of their attention, and somehow turned into the disciple of an elder from a great sect."

Her gaze moved toward Selvara. "I never expected that elder to be you."

Selvara remained calm. "It happened."

Vivian chuckled. "So it seems."

Then she looked at Damian again and smiled faintly. "I believe you have changed now. At least, you are not the same fool written in the older reports."

Damian immediately nodded. "Exactly. Elder Vivian has good eyes."

Selvara’s eye twitched. "Do not get proud."

Vivian smiled at Selvara. "Let him walk around."

Selvara frowned. "Vivian."

Vivian said calmly, "This is his first time visiting another top faction besides the Heavenly Sword Sect. Let the boy broaden his horizons."

Damian nodded quickly. "Yes, Master. Broadening horizons is very important."

Selvara looked at him coldly. "You mean looking at women."

Damian placed a hand on his chest. "Master, how can you say that? I am here to understand the structure, culture, and development of Heavenly Palace."

Violetta lowered her head slightly and tried not to laugh.

Vivian smiled wider. "Besides, if he really does something stupid, I will throw him out myself."

Damian’s smile stiffened. "Elder Vivian, that part is unnecessary."

Selvara stared at him for a few seconds.

Finally, she said flatly, "Fine."

Damian’s eyes lit up.

But before he could celebrate, Selvara continued, "If you cause trouble, I will cut your legs."

Damian immediately became serious. "Understood, Master."

Vivian chuckled softly.

Then she looked toward one of the palace women near the door. "Guide Damian around the outer palace. Do not bring him into any private areas."

The palace woman bowed. "Yes, Elder."

Damian cupped his hands with a bright smile. "Thank you, Elder Vivian. Thank you, Master."

Selvara waved her hand coldly. "Go."

Damian turned around and followed the palace woman out of the inner hall.

As he walked away, his expression became calm, but his eyes quietly brightened.

"Heavenly Palace tour, huh?"

"Come on, system. Don’t disappoint me."

---

Damian followed the palace woman through the outer halls of Heavenly Palace.

Beside him, Violetta walked quietly while holding her flute.

Originally, Damian had thought he would walk around alone, but after thinking about it, this place was going to become Violetta’s new home.

So naturally, she also needed to see it.

The palace woman led them past long jade corridors, open courtyards, music pavilions, dance platforms, and gardens filled with glowing flowers.

Everywhere they went, gentle melodies drifted through the air.

Some disciples were practicing with flutes.

Some were dancing on floating platforms.

Some sat beneath trees while playing zithers, and others trained their Qi through singing.

Violetta watched everything with quiet amazement. Her eyes trembled slightly.

"This place..." she whispered softly. "It really is different from the Heavenly Sword Sect."

Damian glanced at her and smiled faintly. "Of course. One side is full of sword maniacs. This side is full of art beauties."

Violetta looked at him.

Damian coughed. "I mean, art cultivators."

At the same time, Damian secretly looked around and was completely shocked.

There were beautiful women everywhere.

Cold beauties, gentle beauties, playful beauties, elegant beauties, mature beauties, young genius beauties.

For a moment, Damian almost felt like he had entered a treasure mine.

However, what surprised him was that the system still did not react often.

Most of the women had no multiplier.

Only after walking for a while did a few screens finally appear.

---

[Target Detected]

[Multiplier: 50×]

Another one.

[Target Detected]

[Multiplier: 60×]

Then another.

[Target Detected]

[Multiplier: 70×]

---

And finally, when he passed a proud-looking disciple with golden eyes and a confident smile, another screen appeared.

---

[Target Detected]

[Multiplier: 80×]

---

Damian’s eyes brightened slightly.

"Damn. As expected of a top faction."

Even though there were no ridiculous 300× or 500× multipliers, targets between 50× and 80× were still incredibly valuable.

In a normal place, even finding one was lucky.

But here, he had already seen several.

Damian silently nodded.

"Heavenly Palace... this place is really not bad."

Violetta noticed his expression and sighed softly. "Master, please behave."

Damian immediately looked righteous. "Disciple, I am always behaving."

Violetta smiled gently. "Yes. Behaving suspiciously."

Damian’s mouth twitched.

The palace woman leading them also quietly smiled, pretending she had not heard anything.
