Chapter 218: Mysterious Token!

The Dream Realm was dying. There was no better way to describe it.

Mountains occasionally trembled without reason. Ancient rivers changed their flow overnight. Strange cracks appeared in the sky before vanishing moments later. Even the sun sometimes flickered as though it were only a painting stretched across the heavens rather than a real celestial body.

Every powerful participant could sense it. The World Tree’s trial was approaching its conclusion.

Within the Clark Family estate, two people remained completely isolated from the chaos unfolding around them. Lily and Kevin Ten had practically disappeared into their cultivation chambers. Days passed without either of them emerging. Mountains of manuals, scrolls, notes, and copied techniques surrounded them.

Lily devoted herself entirely to mastering every fragment of knowledge she could obtain from the Ice Spear Arrow Technique and the ancient records Tony had given her.

Kevin was even worse. The future Sword Saint had become obsessed. He devoured sword manuals one after another like a starving man consuming food. Neither of them cared about politics. Neither cared about the Magistrate. Neither cared about the growing tension throughout the Dream Realm. They understood one simple truth. The Dream Realm could end tomorrow. Therefore every second spent outside cultivation was a second wasted.

Unfortunately, not everyone wanted them to survive long enough to enjoy those opportunities. Beneath the cover of darkness, several figures silently crossed the walls of the Clark Family estate. The night guards remained completely unaware. The servants remained unaware. Even many of the elders failed to notice anything unusual.

Elsa moved through the shadows like a ghost while seven surviving members of the Demonic Sea Tribe followed behind her.

Unlike previous occasions, there was no patience remaining in her eyes. Tony Clark had escaped her grasp. The Imperial Dungeon placed him beyond her reach. Yet his companions remained vulnerable. Every report she received only increased her frustration.

If she could not kill Tony before the Dream Realm ended, then she would destroy the people closest to him.

Her cold gaze swept across the distant cultivation courtyards where Lily and Kevin remained secluded. One tribe member quietly pointed toward Lily’s residence. Another pointed toward Kevin’s chamber. Elsa nodded without speaking.

***

Far away from the city...

Tony sat alone within the Imperial Dungeon. The vast chamber remained silent except for the faint hum of ancient power flowing through the nine pillars surrounding him.

Months of study. Months of cultivation. Months of relentless comprehension. Every day had been spent beneath the gaze of the Azure Dragon’s inheritance.

The final stage had finally arrived. The nine towering pillars suddenly began glowing with brilliant azure light. Ancient symbols carved by sword intent illuminated one after another. The pressure filling the chamber grew heavier with every passing second.

Tony slowly opened his eyes and immediately noticed that the world appeared fundamentally different.

Every object revealed details invisible to ordinary sight. Every stone contained hidden structures. Every aura revealed layers beneath layers. Even the flowing energy within the chamber itself appeared as clear as rivers beneath sunlight. The Truth Eye had finally reached completion.

The moment that realization appeared, the nine pillars began trembling violently. Massive cracks spread across their surfaces. Ancient light exploded outward. The entire dungeon shook beneath the pressure of countless years collapsing into a single moment. Tony immediately rose to his feet. One pillar shattered. Then another. Then another. Within seconds all nine monuments that had preserved the Azure Dragon’s inheritance for countless generations collapsed simultaneously.

Stone fragments crashed against the ground while ancient dust filled the chamber. The destruction continued until silence finally returned. Yet amidst the ruins, something remained.

A single object rested at the center of the destruction. Small. Ancient. Black. Covered in dragon markings so old they seemed older than the language itself.

Tony approached cautiously and activated the Truth Eye.

The moment his gaze landed upon the object, his expression changed.

Inside the medallion was blood... A single drop. One tiny crimson drop sealed within the artifact. Yet that drop felt terrifying.

The sensation lasted only an instant before vanishing.

Tony picked up the medallion and examined it carefully. He attempted to channel aura into it. Nothing happened. He attempted to open it. Nothing happened. He attempted to damage it. Nothing happened. The object seemed completely indestructible.

After several minutes of inspection, he finally sighed and slipped the chain around his neck. The medallion settled against his chest while countless thoughts flashed through his mind.

The most important question remained unanswered. Could this thing leave the Dream Realm with him? Knowledge could be carried back. Memories could be carried back. Techniques could be carried back. But an actual artifact? Nobody had ever mentioned such a possibility. The uncertainty only increased its value in his eyes.

Before he could investigate further, a deep rumble echoed throughout the dungeon.

The floor shook... The walls shook.

Tony immediately looked upward. Another rumble followed.

The entire Dream Realm seemed to be trembling.

At that exact moment, Elsa froze in the middle of the Clark Family estate. The rooftops beneath her feet vibrated.

The air became unstable. Strange cracks suddenly spread across the night sky. For the first time since entering the Dream Realm, genuine surprise appeared in her eyes. Around her, the Demonic Sea Tribe disciples instinctively stopped moving. Everyone felt it. Everyone understood it. The trial was ending.

-

Elsewhere, the bald monk stopped preaching mid-sentence. The crowd surrounding him gradually faded from his attention as he stared toward the heavens.

Emma Rock stopped walking. The marketplace around her seemed strangely distant.

Countless other participants experienced the same sensation. Every survivor within the Dream Realm felt the approaching end.

Then everything happened at once.

The wind stopped. The rivers stopped. The birds froze in midair. The people froze in mid-step. The entire world became motionless.

Absolute stillness descended upon existence.

The Dream Realm itself started breaking apart into countless fragments of light.

Then a white light filled the world and made everyone close their eyes. Under the blinding light, the dream realm vanished!

Suddenly Tony opened his eyes.

The first thing he noticed was the floor beneath his feet. Wood... Living wood.

He slowly looked around. His eyes widened. Hundreds of surviving participants stood nearby.

Lily was there... Kevin was there... Emma was there. The bald monk was there. Elsa and the Demonic Sea Tribe members were there.

Every survivor who had endured until the end of the Dream Realm had appeared in the same location.

The chamber stretched endlessly in every direction.Nobody spoke.

Nobody moved... Everyone simply stared.

Because after observing the walls, the roots, the living wood, and the impossible scale surrounding them, every participant reached the same conclusion.

They were no longer inside the Dream Realm. They were standing inside the World Tree itself!
