Chapter 485: Chapter 482: Looking for Someone

"I’m his friend, just dropping off some stuff," the woman said, flashing a sweet smile.

The security uncle looked at the woman, puzzled, and said, "What’s your name, for the record?"

"I’m his friend, do I really need to register?" the woman said.

The security uncle, stern-faced, replied, "Of course, it’s hospital policy."

The woman looked around and, seeing that no one was paying attention, began to act coquettishly.

"Uncle, just tell me, please. I want to give my friend a surprise and can’t let him know."

Eventually, the security uncle couldn’t stand her coquettish demeanor anymore and told her the license plate number.

The woman happily walked toward the parking lot, and the security uncle chased after her, "Are you really Mr. Zhang’s friend?"

The woman nodded vigorously, "Really, really, don’t worry, thank you so much, uncle."

After the woman had walked away, the security uncle scratched his head and muttered to himself.

There are so many people with the surname Zhang in this hospital, and just among the department heads, there are three.

But since it was for a surprise, that woman probably knew which car belonged to the friend she mentioned.

The security uncle returned to his post and continued to watch the hospital lobby to prevent any patient or family member from causing trouble.

The woman arrived at the parking lot and started searching car by car. Finally, in a corner, she spotted a silver sedan.

After making sure there were no surveillance cameras around, she lifted her foot and kicked the car hard.

"You jerk, dare to boss me around, I’ll show you," she muttered.

She then pulled out a lipstick from her bag, twisted up the stick inside.

After applying a layer on her lips, she started splashing it freely on the car’s hood.

She wrote in large letters: "Heartbreaker owes money."

Satisfied with her artwork, the woman whistled quietly and left.

When the hospital shift ended, Zhang Hao was shutting down his computer in the office while the doctors in his department took the opportunity to check their phones, as no patients were around.

He then noticed in the work group chat that the internist Mr. Zhang was cursing and had attached a few photos.

"Who did this to my car and even wrote ’heartbreaker’ on it, don’t let me find out who it was." 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

Zhang Hao was curious and clicked on the chat, feeling somehow that this Mr. Zhang was taking the blame for him.

Zhang Hao didn’t dare say anything in the chat at that moment, but he had a feeling it was the handiwork of that woman.

Just then, a colleague in the work group sent a message, "Isn’t there a camera there? Not sure if it still works; I remember it broke half a year ago."

The agitated Mr. Zhang immediately pulled the person in charge of parking lot affairs into the chat, "Help me check the surveillance, I want to see who’s behind this."

That person said, "That camera’s broken, and even if it was working, it can’t capture that area; did you offend someone who might be seeking revenge?"

Mr. Zhang was hopping mad, sending several angry emojis consecutively.

"Who could I have offended? I’m always either at the hospital or at home."

"Could it be some family member who doesn’t like me? But why would they write ’heartbreaker’ on my car?"

The character of the internist Mr. Zhang is well-known in the hospital.

He’s good to his wife, even more attentive to his children, spending all his free time with his family.

To suggest he could have other women on the side, no one would believe it.

Before this issue was cleared up, Zhang Hao decided to stay silent.

If one day it was resolved, he would personally go and apologize to Mr. Zhang.

Upon returning home, he found He Qianhui had already left on a business trip. Looking at the empty house, Zhang Hao felt somewhat at a loss.

Seeing that it was still early, he unexpectedly drove to a bar in the city.

He usually drank at home, but this time, for some reason, he felt compelled to go to a bar.

Perhaps deep down, he was hoping to find that woman and ask her if she had scratched someone else’s car.

However, Zhang Hao didn’t know which entertainment venue the woman worked at.

He didn’t want to search every place today; he just wanted to try his luck and see if fortune would favor him by leading him directly to her.

He chose a bar with good reviews and parked his car at the entrance.

Zhang Hao hadn’t even gotten out of the car yet, still unbuckling his seatbelt, when he heard a man passing by exclaim, "Wow!"

Zhang Hao looked up and made eye contact with the man.

The man glanced at Zhang Hao’s car and quickly diverted his gaze elsewhere.

After turning off the ignition, Zhang Hao pulled the key out, grabbed his phone, and got out of the car.

He stared at the huge neon sign in front of him that was flashing nonstop.

Zhang Hao seemed to have made up his mind and decisively walked in.

As soon as he entered, he bumped into a group of men.

The men were slinging their arms around each other, casually chatting.

Zhang Hao kept a distance from them and waited for the elevator; when it arrived, the men rushed in noisily.

Zhang Hao didn’t want to share the elevator with them, signaling them to go ahead. However, they kept calling him to join them, pointing out that there was still so much space.

After hesitating for a long time, Zhang Hao finally entered. The elevator was cramped.

Zhang Hao had no choice but to keep as much distance as possible from the men.

Fortunately, it was only three floors. When the elevator reached the third floor, the men hurried out.

Zhang Hao followed behind, deliberately slowing down his steps. He could already hear the music before entering.

Zhang Hao didn’t frequent bars often, only a few times before.

Recalling the woman’s appearance, Zhang Hao suddenly felt that she wasn’t very remarkable.

She had an average body and face, perhaps her makeup made her stand out.

But in a bar, which woman’s makeup isn’t striking? They all meticulously do their eyebrows and eyes.

Zhang Hao walked in and noticed that the place was quite crowded, with red laser lights and strips of lights continuously emitting their brightness.

Yet even so, it was still somewhat difficult to see where he was stepping.

"Do you have a reservation, sir?" a male waiter asked.

Zhang Hao shook his head, "No reservation, I need one to enter?"

"Not at all. If you had a reservation, I would lead you there; without one, only scattered seats are left," the waiter explained.

"How much for a scattered seat?" Zhang Hao asked.

"You can get a discount on scattered seats by group purchasing online," the waiter suggested.

Zhang Hao looked toward the scattered seats and handed his phone to the waiter, "You do it for me."

The waiter entered the bar’s name in the WeChat mini program.

While waiting for the page to load, Zhang Hao looked around: "Do you have a woman here?"

"She has burgundy hair, about this long, likes to wear high heels, and her clothes are somewhat alternative."

While handling Zhang Hao’s phone, the waiter thought about the description: "I don’t think we have someone like that," he said.
