Chapter 484: Chapter 481: Where is the Car Parked?

Another patient hurried in, only to find a young woman already waiting in front of Zhang Hao.

Consequently, the newcomer approached Zhang Hao with some restraint, "Doctor Zhang, didn’t you just call for the next patient?"

The woman didn’t dare to make a scene, just somewhat awkwardly showing her embarrassment in front of Zhang Hao.

In fact, Zhang Hao was well aware that it’s easy to invite a deity, but hard to send one away; it was clear that the woman wouldn’t give up until she achieved her goal.

It just so happened that Zhang Hao was the type not to condone others’ faults, and since the woman was unwilling to leave,

he got up and moved to an empty consulting desk, signaling the other woman to come over for her consultation.

The older sister seemed to also realize some issue and approached cautiously.

Only after seeing Zhang Hao sit down did the woman pull out a chair and sit down in front of him.

After she explained her health condition, Zhang Hao got a rough understanding and quickly asked if she had any other discomforts.

The woman shook her head, then presented some test results from another hospital for Zhang Hao to examine.

After glancing at them briefly, the first woman strode over and placed a hand on Zhang Hao’s shoulder.

She said, "You really have no medical ethics, doctor. I’m also your patient."

"You just left me aside, or is it that your medical skills aren’t up to par to treat my condition?"

Zhang Hao didn’t even lift his eyes, his gaze staying fixed on the second woman’s test results.

He said, "You’re the one who didn’t follow the doctor’s orders, not me who refused to treat you. So, you think I’m the one being irresponsible towards you?"

The woman furrowed her brows, "You’re a doctor, you should have more solutions than me; drinking at work is a norm in my line of work."

"If I don’t drink, how am I supposed to make money? You doctors have prestige, doing jobs people envy."

"Yet there are others toiling away in their positions, can’t you be more considerate for us?"

Witnessing the woman’s disrespectful words, Zhang Hao truly didn’t want to waste his breath arguing with her.

"Madam, I’m aware of your condition, but it’s not as serious as you imagine,"

"I’ll prescribe you two sets of medicine to take for a few days, then if there’s no significant improvement, come back and see me."

The woman was also keen to leave this place of contention, and since Zhang Hao said her condition wasn’t much of a concern,

she naturally felt relieved, "Thank you, Doctor Zhang, I’ll go get the medicine now."

After the woman left, that woman directly sat down on the chair in front of Zhang Hao, "Hey, I’m talking to you. Don’t pretend to be deaf, okay?"

Zhang Hao had no solution for her; he was at a loss with the kind of woman who refuses to give up.

If she could be reasonable, maybe they could have come to an understanding.

Since she was unreasonable, Zhang Hao wasn’t about to stoop to cursing in the streets like her.

Seeing Zhang Hao remain silent, the woman got fired up, "Why aren’t you speaking? Could it be that you really have no skill, that you’re a quack?"

"Are all those online promotions about you fake? It doesn’t seem to be the case."

The woman, speaking more and more aggressively, moved to take action. Faced with her unreasonable behavior, Zhang Hao first voiced his protest.

When his protest had no effect, he stood up, "Madam, I hope you’ll show a little respect, otherwise I’ll have to call security."

The woman raised an eyebrow at Zhang Hao, "Just get me some cough medicine, painkillers, and that’s it; I don’t need anything else. If you won’t give them to me, I’ll just go to the pharmacy myself."

"It won’t cost me much anyway; over the years, having drinks with you lot of scoundrels, I’ve earned quite a bit."

Zhang Hao scoffed, "Since you know what medicine to buy, go get it yourself. Why make me waste time?"

Zhang Hao finished speaking and returned to his desk, then called in the next patient.

The woman suddenly felt differently about Zhang Hao, other doctors were always so gentle and polite.

"Why is it that just you are different from the others," she said. "I’m getting more and more curious about you. What’s your phone number? Leave it for me, so if one day those medicines I’ve been taking don’t work, I might just call you and you could save my life."

Zhang Hao glanced at her and said, "My phone number is 120, at your service 24 hours a day."

The woman slammed the desk in anger, and from her act, anyone who didn’t know better might think she had a deep grudge against Zhang Hao.

Zhang Hao couldn’t tolerate her arrogance and dialed the hospital security room from the phone on his desk.

As soon as Zhang Hao began to ask if it was the security room, the woman immediately snatched the phone away from him.

"Damn, you’re really calling? I’m leaving, okay. Why can’t you be a little humorous?"

Zhang Hao simply ignored her. Whether she stayed or left had nothing to do with him directly.

In the end, the woman realized that causing a fuss in front of Zhang Hao would get her nowhere.

After all, she had come to see a doctor because she had a violent coughing fit that morning after getting off work.

This had happened before, but she had always relied on medicine to deal with it then.

She never took it seriously, but this time the situation seemed much more severe than before, because after a few coughs, she suddenly found that there was blood in her saliva.

That meant there could be a serious change in her health.

Worrying that she was so young yet might have something like lung cancer, she hurried to the hospital, only to encounter a doctor with an attitude as tough as Zhang Hao’s.

She couldn’t use her previous brash personality to achieve her purpose, nor did she want to be escorted out of the hospital by security.

After all, it was still about saving face.

As she was leaving, she kept pointing at Zhang Hao’s nose and said, "I’ll remember you, doctor. Be careful on your way to and from work."

"My friends aren’t pushovers. If your car tires end up flat, that’ll be your bad luck."

Zhang Hao paid her no attention and continued treating the patient who had just arrived.

Spurned, the woman angrily stomped her foot and clacked away from the department in her high heels.

The patient who came after her had no idea what had just happened and looked at Zhang Hao with a puzzled face.

"Doctor Zhang, what was that about with the person just now?"

Zhang Hao shook his head and smiled, "It’s nothing, where are you feeling uncomfortable?"

The woman left the traditional Chinese medicine clinic still upset about Zhang Hao’s attitude and, after much thought, decided to find his car.

To tamper with it, she reasoned, could at least give him some trouble.

She stopped a nurse coming her way and asked, "Excuse me, can you tell me where the car belonging to that Doctor Zhang from your hospital is parked?"

The nurse she stopped shook her head, "I don’t know, sorry."

The woman had no choice but to pretend it was okay and let the nurse go. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

But even so, she couldn’t vent the anger in her heart.

Still feeling displeased, she thought that if these nurses didn’t know, perhaps the security guards at the door would.

She walked in her high heels to find a security guard, "Excuse me, uncle, where is Mr. Zhang’s car parked at the hospital?"
