Chapter 211: Chapter 208: Passion in the Bathroom

Qin Miaoke was clearly just a girl without any real skills.

But for some reason, with her presence, even this boring competition became somewhat interesting.

"Want some water?" Qin Miaoke asked as she opened a bottle of water and inquired about Zhang Hao’s desire.

"Sure, otherwise there might not be another chance to drink later." Zhang Hao took the bottle of water that Qin Miaoke handed to him and gulped down a large mouthful without thinking twice.

Ordinary mineral water, yet it tasted sweet.

"Give it to me, I’ll hold it for you."

Qin Miaoke snatched the bottle of water from Zhang Hao’s hand and stuffed it into her bag.

Actually, the half-full bottle of water wasn’t heavy at all for Zhang Hao to carry.

"Do you know anyone here?" Zhang Hao, out of boredom, found a topic to break the silence between them.

"No, didn’t I tell you? I only recently chose to come back and be a doctor, so I guess only my grandfather would recognize anyone in these kinds of events. Don’t even think about me knowing anyone," she responded.

As Qin Miaoke spoke, she patted Zhang Hao’s shoulder, indicating that he was on his own for whatever came next.

Her minimal assistance really wasn’t going to be much help at all!

"I don’t need to take any shortcuts, I was just wondering if you knew them, you could introduce me. Since you don’t, never mind." 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

After drinking a few sips of water, it wasn’t long before Zhang Hao felt the urge to urinate and began to fidget in his seat.

As the saying goes, you can hold your urine and travel a thousand miles, but with diarrhea, you can’t move an inch. Plus, holding your urine isn’t good for the body.

"Stay here, I’ll be right back," he said.

Seeing his urgent expression, Qin Miaoke instinctively grabbed his hand and asked, "Where are you going? It’s about to start."

"To the restroom. Are you coming?"

The first day of the competition actually wasn’t very exciting, it was just an elaborate kick-off meeting.

After a few seconds of thought, Qin Miaoke decided to go with Zhang Hao to the restroom.

"I’ll go too, wait for me!"

As she stood up, she glanced at the bag resting on the chair and hesitated for three seconds before deciding to take it with her.

Leaving the main hall, Zhang Hao noticed she was still carrying the bag and couldn’t help but ask, "Is there something valuable in your bag?"

With a sly smile, Qin Miaoke replied, "This is what my grandfather taught me, ’Caution is the parent of safety.’"

At her words, Zhang Hao became a bit curious about what was in her bag.

Especially since the zipper looked like it was about to burst open.

The restroom was just around the corner from the main hall.

While Zhang Hao went into the men’s restroom, Qin Miaoke naturally couldn’t follow him in, but standing outside, she overheard some inappropriate noises.

"Baby, you’re so hot, can’t believe we’re doing this right next to the main hall with dozens of people. This is thrilling!" said a voice.

"Mmm, that feels good. If I wasn’t this hot, you wouldn’t have fallen for me in the first place. Come on, big brother, put some strength into it, go all the way in!" another voice responded.

Seeing her blushing face in the mirror, Qin Miaoke shyly ran into the women’s restroom, while resenting in her heart, couldn’t these dog men and women control their thirst.

After finishing, she stepped out to see Zhang Hao waiting outside, but the noises from the men’s side hadn’t stopped.

"Let’s go!" she said nonchalantly.

That casual suggestion of departure carried a certain air of nonchalance.

Qin Miaoke squeezed some hand soap, scrubbing her hands under the faucet, deliberately raising her voice a bit.

"Wait for me, I need to wash my hands properly; hygiene is important."

Having washed his hands for several minutes, Zhang Hao glanced occasionally at Qin Miaoke in the mirror, finding her quite interesting.

"Hurry up, let’s not be a nuisance here."

Qin Miaoke was taken aback, uttered an "Oh," quickly turned off the tap, shook her hands, and followed Zhang Hao back.

Although it was only a short distance, Qin Miaoke felt it was an agonizing walk.

Arriving at the entrance of the conference hall, Zhang Hao lowered his voice:

"This is nothing to fuss about, just stay calm. Who knows, maybe in the future when you have a boyfriend, you’ll be doing it in crowded and discreet places too."

"All you do is spout nonsense in front of me. I don’t even have a boyfriend yet, how could I be so shameless?" retorted Qin Miaoke.

Once inside the conference hall, Zhang Hao and Qin Miaoke returned to their seats.

The event was organized by the city’s relevant departments to promote and integrate the advancement of Chinese and Western medicine through a competition like this.

Traditional Chinese medicine practitioners were the majority participants, with Western medicine as a supplement; not many renowned doctors attended.

Looking around the hall, the average age of the attendees was around forty, with Zhang Hao, in his early twenties, standing out like a green onion among them.

There were many seats in the conference hall, enough to accommodate two or three hundred people, yet some preferred not to sit next to each other.

Usually, there would be at least one seat left empty between them, making it hard to tell if those two people from the restroom were doctors or staff members here.

"Do you think those two started before the pep rally began?"

"Going by the average duration for men, it must have been around half an hour; I guess the pep rally must have finished by now."

"Why are you curious about this? Could it be that you’re tempted too?" Zhang Hao joked.

Qin Miaoke huffed, "How could I possibly think about that? I’m just wondering if I would regret missing the pep rally."

Zhang Hao leaned back in his chair, "You shouldn’t worry about others. In my opinion, you should find yourself a boyfriend. A woman’s youth is fleeting, and she should enjoy life while she can."

Qin Miaoke ignored Zhang Hao’s suggestion, preferring to follow her own style of dealing with things.

"You needn’t concern yourself with my affairs. Let’s just listen to what the organizer has to say next."

Just as the organizer was preparing to speak, two more people came into the conference hall, a man and a woman.

The man was dressed in a white lab coat, while the woman wore a nurse’s uniform.

As they passed by Zhang Hao, he could smell an ambiguous scent coming from them.

He glanced at Qin Miaoke, and the look in his eyes conveyed a wealth of information.

Qin Miaoke coughed uncomfortably twice.

This confirmed it; those two really didn’t care about the thrill of it all.

"Now that everyone has arrived, I’d like to thank all the doctors and nurses who took time out of their busy schedules to participate in this friendly competition."

"I hope that in the coming days, everyone will spare no effort to display their true skills and knowledge."

Among the many doctors and nurses, Zhang Hao was the most conspicuous one.

The relevant department was aware of him and had thus reserved a surprise for him.

After the leader finished speaking, Zhang Hao was called onto the stage. Unprepared, Zhang Hao seemed somewhat at a loss once he got up there.

"Mr. Zhang, I’ve heard that you are a student of Elder Qin. Is this true?" asked the host.

"Yes, it’s true. What about it? I met him at the provincial exchange competition, and he thought I had a talent for traditional Chinese medicine."

"So he took me on as his student. His granddaughter is also here today, over there."

Sitting in her chair, Qin Miaoke gaped in surprise. What did this have to do with her? She was just a tag-along today.

All eyes turned to Qin Miaoke in unison.
