Chapter 143: Chapter 141 Have a Good Time

Zhang Hao naturally didn’t know about the subsequent events, as he saw a total of five patients that morning.

Apart from Lü Juan, the others were all pretty normal.

At lunch, Zhang Hao and Lin Wan went to the cafeteria together to get their meal, while Ling Tong and Xu Mi took the opportunity to go out to eat.

The office was quiet and peaceful, and Zhang Hao hurried to finish his meal and leaned back in his chair to rest for a moment.

Lin Wan continued to study knowledge about Traditional Chinese Medicine, not wanting to fail in assisting Zhang Hao in the future work.

It wasn’t until the afternoon work hours that Zhang Hao suddenly received a call from the leaders.

The leader said directly on the phone that a patient had filed a complaint against him.

Claiming his practice was not up to standard, Zhang Hao knew right away it was Lü Juan who complained, and he was about to explain.

The hospital leader’s tone was somewhat impatient.

"You’d better come to my office."

Zhang Hao hung up the phone and gave Lin Wan a look, "Keep an eye on things here for me, I’ll be right back."

He hastened to the leader’s office.

Upon entering, that leader looked at Zhang Hao as if wanting to lecture him but seemingly hesitant.

"Leader, just say what you need to say; you don’t need that expression."

With Zhang Hao’s words, the leader finally opened up.

"Zhang Hao, you seem to be a very upright person, so how could you have physical contact with a patient? Was that really part of the treatment?"

Zhang Hao didn’t say much, just turned on the leader’s computer and pulled up Lü Juan’s medical records.

The leader glanced at it, momentarily at a loss for words.

"This Lü Juan, why does she look somewhat familiar to me? What does she look like?"

"Short hair, a mole at the corner of her right mouth, and a bit plump."

With just these few descriptors, the leader already had an image of someone in mind.

"That recent complaint was anonymous; thus, I had no idea who made it. But if it’s Ms. Lv, it’s not surprising. You can go back now; there’s no issue."

Zhang Hao looked incredulous, fixing his gaze on the leader, "Can I really go back?"

The leader waved him off, "Go ahead, otherwise your clinic will soon be crowded."

Zhang Hao kept looking back as he walked away, and upon seeing the leader had no change of heart, he quickened his pace and hurried out.

Indeed, there was a patient waiting for him back in the department, a four- or five-year-old little girl.

The girl, upon seeing Zhang Hao in his white coat, started wailing loudly, fortunately alleviated by her grandpa who kept comforting her.

"I heard you practice Chinese medicine; my little granddaughter just dislocated her arm at home while playing. Could you please set it right, doctor?"

Setting bones was something Zhang Hao had studied in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

With the child being so young and her bones not fully developed, there was a significant chance of dislocation.

Zhang Hao knelt down to help examine her.

But the sight of the white coat made the little girl uncontrollably cry even more.

Even her grandpa’s soothing at her side was of no use.

Luckily, setting the bone only required finding the correct position, which could be done in a few seconds.

At that moment, Ling Tong and Xu Mi, who had gone out for lunch, finally came back.

Noticing the child crying, both of them quietly approached the counter and took out lollipops from their bags.

The little girl saw the lollipops, her attention was drawn, and she no longer minded the dislocated arm.

Zhang Hao took the opportunity to promptly reposition her delicate arm at the dislocated spot.

Ling Tong approached with an orange-flavored lollipop and handed it to the little girl.

"Little sister, come have some candy."

Seeing how adept Ling Tong was at coaxing the child, Zhang Hao couldn’t help but ask if she had younger siblings at home.

However, Ling Tong’s answer truly surprised him.

"I’d like to be a good wife and mother in the future, taking care of the children and husband at home."

When she mentioned the word husband, Ling Tong’s gaze was fixed on Zhang Hao.

This made Zhang Hao dare not to continue asking.

On the side, Xu Mi glared fiercely at Ling Tong standing in front of her.

The little girl’s hand was healed, and her grandfather repeatedly thanked them, taking out money to pay for the treatment.

But Zhang Hao refused it.

"It’s a trivial favor; no need for money."

After several refusals, the child’s grandfather hurried home with his granddaughter.

Normalcy returned to the department.

The entire afternoon passed with Zhang Hao bustling with work until the shift ended before he finally had the chance to catch his breath.

Lin Wan once again invited him to dinner, but Zhang Hao declined.

He was exhausted from the day and wanted to head home to rest, especially since he had spent the past weekend working hard!

After work, as Zhang Hao was driving home, he unexpectedly received a call from a stranger.

Over the phone was a woman, whose seductive voice transmitted through the receiver as soon as the call connected.

Just by the voice, Zhang Hao had a good guess of who it was.

"Ms. Lv, may I ask what it is?"

"Mmm... Ahhh, I want... Doctor Zhang, you’re so strong!"

"You can fill me up... I’ve never felt something so big."

Zhang Hao frowned, wanting to hang up immediately.

But just then, a car from a side road merged onto his path, and he quickly tossed his phone onto the passenger seat.

With both hands on the steering wheel, he barely avoided danger and resumed normal driving.

Over the phone, Lü Juan’s moans only grew louder, forcing Zhang Hao to roll up the windows so as not to be overheard by other cars when stopping at a red light.

"Ms. Lv, I don’t know how you got my phone number, but I hope you won’t make these calls anymore. I’m busy and need to hang up now."

Just as Zhang Hao was about to hang up the call.

Lü Juan’s moaning increased in volume: "It’s coming... it’s coming, so good, so good, mmmm."

Soon, only heavy breathing remained over the phone.

Zhang Hao still hung up without a word and blocked Lü Juan’s number.

After getting home, the first thing Zhang Hao did was take a shower.

When he came out of the bathroom and checked his phone, there were several missed calls, all from different numbers.

Zhang Hao’s heart sank. Could this be the consequence of blocking Lü Juan’s contact?

As he was contemplating, suddenly a message popped up. He opened it and indeed, it was from Lü Juan.

"What kind of skill is blocking my number? As a man, can’t you leverage your real strength to satisfy a woman in need, once and for all?"

"I’ll give you one last chance. If you agree, I’ll never bother you again. Otherwise, I will go to the hospital every day to disrupt your work."

"I’m sure the hospital won’t protect you. If you agree, reply within ten minutes. I’ll immediately arrange someone to pick you up, and we can have a good time tonight."
