Wendy took the document handed over by Jill, looking at it while listening to Jill’s continuous speech.
Jill said, "If it is other designs, I can merely supervise the process and not interfere.
"But for this series, you are the main designer. The inspiration and first draft all came from you. Since the current design series team used to be led by you, the other members cannot get the idea at all without your presence."
"This series is the most crucial work of the first collaboration between HG Enterprise and MC Enterprise. The partner manufacturers and sales channels had also been decided before that.
"According to the planned progress, we should have finalised the expected three sets of clothing design and had the final draft sent to manufacturers half a month ago.
"Eventually, it was delayed until now.
"The entire design industry is witnessing the cooperation between MC Enterprise and HG Enterprise. They all want to see the new collection to be launched by us.
"So far, the company has lost tens of millions of dollars due to the delay in progress.
"If this collection results in a further postponement, it is not only a matter of breach of contract but also has to affect the overall collaboration between HG Enterprise and MC Enterprise.

"Hasn’t HG Enterprise thought of sending someone to take over my job?" Wendy asked.

"If it is that serious, why didn’t you come to me earlier?" Wendy looked at those designs, and a sense of familiarity came over her.

Wendy nodded and said, "You can leave these to me. I’ll see if I can change them. By the way, please try to stall our partner. Do not let DR Group snatch this opportunity away."
"Here is a direct quote from our partner. ’If you have not formally finalized the Four Seasons series within half a month, I will have to consider working with DR Group instead. After all, we also have to make a living. There is no way to wait forever.’" Jill said. "That is to say we still have fifteen days to go."
"Fifteen days?" Wendy murmured this number, looked at the design in her hand again, and said, "I will try."
"Sis, are you really going to try?" Jill said, "and Mr. Lucas won’t be coming after me, right? If he knows that I assigned work to his darling wife, will I be in trouble?"
When Wendy heard the words "darling wife," she broke into a snigger, reaching out to pat Jill’s shoulder. "I will take care of Michael. Don’t worry."
"Then don’t push yourself too hard. If you really cannot handle the revision, it does not matter. Anyway, since Mr. Lucas has plenty of money, he can afford the compensation," Jill said.
"Alright." Wendy smiled and shook her head.
Initially, Jill only intended to complain about her annoying work in front of Wendy.

Michael came back at 1 a.m., the light in the study was still on.
Michael thought that Wendy had forgotten to turn off the light. He walked into the study to switch it off but saw Wendy having her back to him.
A large pile of waste paper was thrown on the floor.
Michael gingerly walked over, picked up the paper on the floor, and found it full of design drawings.
Wendy was so engrossed in her work that she did not notice Michael standing behind her.
She started to change the first version of the design after Jill left, and now it was almost finished.
With the last stroke, Wendy nodded in satisfaction.
She put down the pen and looked at the time. It was already 1 a.m.
Standing up, Wendy intended to go wash up and sleep.
As soon as she turned around, she saw Michael, which gave her a big shock.
Wendy reached out and patted her chest, letting out a long breath. "How do you walk with no sound?"
"I do not want to disturb you," Michael pointed to the design and said, "did Jill come to see you?"
