Chapter 194: You Can Sleep In The Other Room
Wendy’s hand touched the couch and slid across the coffee table.
No matter how she looked at this place, nothing similar has emerged from her memory.
Frowning, Wendy said, "Michael, why do I have a sense of strangeness when I come back here?"
Michael coughed lightly and said somewhat sheepishly, "Your memory has not recovered yet, so it is normal to feel strange."
"Then which room did we live in before?" Wendy asked.
Although this was Michael’s property, he had a good supply of houses, many of which he had never been to once.
Although Michael had come to this suite once or twice, he barely remembered how many rooms there were or where the master bedroom was.
Wendy’s question made him a little uncomfortable.
"This..." Michael had to point to a random one and said, "this one."
Following the direction Michael pointed, Wendy walked over.
Behind Wendy, Michael’s face was a little pale.
If only he would be correctly pointing at the master bedroom.
If only he would not let Wendy find out the unusuality.
Wendy walked into the room, opened the large floor-to-ceiling window, stood in front of it, and looked at the view below her.
It must be said that the orientation of this room is quite good. Wendy could view the entire bustling street at a glance.
The sun shone in, and Wendy took a deep breath of air.
The fresh air made her relaxed to some extent.
Michael followed in and sighed with relief.
Fortunately, he did not point to the wrong room.
Walking behind Wendy, Michael’s hand went through her waist and tightly wrapped her in his arms with his chin resting on her head. "Wendy, it is good that you are back."
He could not accept losing Wendy one more time.
Hence, please forgive him for being selfish.
In the future, he would definitely do his best to make up for Wendy and the twins.
"Did you also hold me like this in the past?" In the beginning, Wendy was quite resistant to Michael touching her. But after spending a month together in the hospital, she had already gotten used to Michael’s embrace.
Wendy was trying hard to remember, hoping to recall something from the past in her mind.
Unfortunately, no matter how hard she tried, she could not recall anything.
There was no memory of the suite or Michael’s hug except for last month.
"It is alright," Wendy thought to herself. She must have been in too much of a hurry; memory was something that actually took time.
As Wendy kept asking about things in the past, Michael felt nothing but guilty and panic from his heart.
He could only give a soft muffled answer instead.
Wendy and her family formally started living in the suite.
Michael originally wanted to hire some maids to take care of them, but Wendy felt it was unnecessary.
In addition, Wendy brought back Zess from Rheinsville City before and called her to come over. Usually, Zess was responsible for taking care of the two children to kindergarten and cooking.
In the evening, Wendy washed up early and went back to her room.
When she was in the hospital, Michael started to share a bed with her. Now that she was back home, Michael would definitely sleep with her.
Thinking about this, Wendy panicked a little.
When Michael hugged her to sleep together in the hospital, Wendy already felt some changes in his body.
However, it was hard for Michael to take any action in the hospital, moreover, Wendy was still a patient back then. But now, they were all adults. Wendy had amnesia but was still an ordinary person.
According to her normal way of thinking, Wendy was very clear about what would happen when two people sleep in a bed again.
Although Wendy accepted the fact that Michael was her husband, she was still not mentally prepared for anything else.
Thus, Wendy went back to her room and locked the bedroom door from the inside.

When Michael finished washing up and went back to his room, he found the door unopenable.
He twisted the door handle a few times, but it still would not open.
Reaching out and knocking on the door, Michael said, "Wendy, why did you locked the door? Open it for me please."
"You... you can sleep in the other room." Wendy coughed lightly; her tone sounded a bit awkward. "There are still two empty rooms. You can pick one to live in."
"Huh?" Michael was a bit confused. "How could you let me stay alone as soon as you return?"
"There are a lot of rooms. It will be a waste if you leave them empty, so one room for each person would be better."
Hearing Wendy’s words, Michael regretted bringing her here.
He should have found a smaller house, one with only three rooms.
In this way, each of the twins took one room, and Wendy would have no reason to kick him out of the only room left.
Michael did feel frustrated that he still could not enter the bedroom even though his wife was back.
With a gleam in his eyes, Michael said to Wendy through the door, "Then you have to let me take my phone out. I left it in the bedroom."
"Where is it? I’ll get it out for you." Wendy suspected that Michael was deliberately making an excuse of his phone to trick her.
"I cannot remember either. You can look for it." Michael did cheat her. It was just that his wife did not fall for it.
"I did not find it. Let me give you a call. It might not be in the bedroom," Wendy said and called Michael’s cell phone.
When Wendy got through to the line, no one was answering. Also, the ringtone went off in the living room.
Hearing the phone ringing from outside the room, Wendy smiled, "I told you it was not in the bedroom. Go look for it outside."
Michael helplessly touched his nose and had to say okay.
Picking up the phone sitting on the couch, Michael looked at Leah’s room.
Walking over, he reached out and knocked on the door.
Leah immediately climbed out of bed to open the door. When she saw that it was Michael, her big eyes twinkled. "Daddy."
"Do daddy a favor, okay?" Since he could not do it himself, he had to seek help from his cute daughter.
"Okey dokey," Leah clapped her little palm and asked, "what does Daddy need me for?"
Getting Leah’s firm yes, Michael looked at his daughter in satisfaction.
It was true that daughters were fathers’ sweethearts.
Michael lowered his voice, squatted down, and whispered to Leah. "Can you go to Mummy’s room and knock on the door? Just say you are afraid and want to sleep with Mummy. When mummy opens the door, you are free to go, okay?"
"Is it that simple?" Leah blinked her eyes, seemingly thinking that this matter was not of difficulty.
Michael nodded. "It’s that simple."
"I promise to complete the task." Leah immediately jumped on her short legs and ran towards Wendy’s room.
Wendy heard a knock on the door for a second time and thought it was Michael again; she said, "Stop knocking. I won’t open the door."
"Mummy, I am a little scared. Can I sleep with you tonight?" Leah’s voice was soft and sweet.
Hearing Leah’s voice, Wendy frowned and asked, "Where’s your daddy? Is he behind you?"
Leah glanced at Michael beside her and immediately said no at Michael’s gesture of shaking his head.
Wendy sighed with relief and got up to open the door.
Hearing the sound of footsteps, Michael gave a thumbs up to Leah.
When she received praise from her daddy, Leah was quite happy, as if she had done something extraordinary.
Wendy opened the door and saw Michael at a glance.
The next second, she quickly closed the door.
However, Michael was quick-eyed and directly reached out to block it. It was just that his hand was caught, followed by his painful cry.
