Chapter 730: Chapter 731 Between the Corridors

Perhaps because a brief separation can make a reunion more passionate than any honeymoon, Lin Guo’er was particularly formidable that night. She was so impressive that she even surprised Lin Kuang; although he knew her capabilities well, she completely exceeded his expectations. It wasn’t until past five in the morning that she finally admitted defeat, lying exhausted in Lin Kuang’s arms and falling into a deep sleep.

Looking at the sleeping Lin Guo’er, Lin Kuang couldn’t help but stroke her head. This girl really is wild.

With that thought, Lin Kuang quietly got out of bed and headed to the bathroom, stark naked.

Just then, Xiao Yingzi’s bedroom door opened. Dressed in her pajamas, she stepped out just in time to see Lin Kuang in his current state. Although Xiao Yingzi had already mentally prepared herself to become Lin Kuang’s woman, the sight of him completely naked still made her pretty face flush crimson in an instant.

She covered her small face with her hands, as if she couldn’t bear to look at him. If you looked closely, however, you would notice her fingers were spread apart. Her beautiful large eyes were narrowed into thin slits, secretly peeking at him.

Seeing this, the shameless Lin Kuang made no effort to cover up, simply standing brazenly before Xiao Yingzi.

"Hey now, beautiful Yingzi, don’t you think that self-deception act is a little obvious? If you want to look, just look. It’s not like I’m charging for the view," Lin Kuang said with a grin.

Hearing this, Xiao Yingzi’s face turned even redder. She felt like a child who had been caught misbehaving, and the feeling was not pleasant at all.

"I... I... I wasn’t looking!" Xiao Yingzi stammered, her face flushed as she argued.

"Oh, really? Then why did I see someone squinting at me? Did I see wrong?" Lin Kuang teased with a smile.

"Wh-what are you talking about? You must have seen wrong!" Xiao Yingzi insisted defensively.

"Is that so? Well, let’s just say I was mistaken. I’m going to take a shower now. Care to join?" Lin Kuang asked playfully.

"I certainly do not!"

With that, Xiao Yingzi rushed back to her room, her face burning. Closing the door, she leaned against it, panting heavily. Her alluring chest heaved up and down, and her face was still bright red. That bastard looks so strong. No wonder he was so fierce last night.

Meanwhile, Lin Kuang had started to freshen up. Afterward, he got dressed and began his daily morning exercise routine. By the time he finished his workout, it was time for breakfast.

After the meal, the women tidied up and prepared to leave for the company. Lin Kuang stayed behind, since Lin Guo’er was still sound asleep. Once they had left, a bored Lin Kuang sat on the sofa and watched television. His eyes were on the screen, but he wasn’t paying any real attention to what was playing. It’s been a while since I’ve heard from Bingbing; I hope she’s okay. And Zhantai Mingyue, how is she doing now?

With these thoughts, Lin Kuang sent a text message to Fan Bingbing. Usually, he waited for her to contact him, worried that he might disturb her if she was busy. But it had been so long since they’d last spoken, and he really missed her.

The message was sent, but it was like a stone dropped into the ocean; there was no reply.

Lin Kuang started to worry that something might have happened to her, especially given the many conflicts between him and the Fan Family.

However, around noon, a reply from Fan Bingbing finally came, putting his mind at ease. From her message, Lin Kuang learned about her recent situation. She was in the middle of a crucial assessment period and had very little free time. Her phone didn’t even have a signal most of the time, which was why she hadn’t been able to chat.

They talked for less than half an hour before ending the conversation, as Fan Bingbing still had many things to do.

Lin Kuang was relieved to know she was just busy. His main concern was her safety, and as long as she was alright, everything else was fine. His mood instantly improved. Thank goodness. That’s a relief.

It was nearly two in the afternoon when Lin Guo’er finally emerged from her room in her pajamas. Having just woken up, she looked quite languid. Her gossamer-thin pajamas did little to conceal her stunning figure, sending a jolt of heat through Lin Kuang. An adrenaline surge made him ache to do something more with her.

"Are you awake?" Lin Kuang asked with a smile as he watched her come downstairs.

"Mm, I’m awake," Lin Guo’er said.

"Want to continue? Seeing my darling Guo’er like this, I just can’t control myself," Lin Kuang said, grinning at her.

Hearing this, Lin Guo’er was startled and quickly shook her head. "No, no more! You can go torment someone else tonight."

"Alright. Does that mean you finally admit defeat?" Lin Kuang asked, still grinning.

In response, Lin Guo’er shot him a fierce glare. "I don’t know!"

"Hehe, I’m just teasing you. Are you hungry?" Lin Kuang asked with a smile, pulling her into his arms.

Leaning against his chest, Lin Guo’er nodded gently. "Mm, I’m a little hungry. Will you make me something delicious?" As she spoke, her beautiful eyes looked pleadingly at him.

"Of course. What does my darling Guo’er want to eat?" Lin Kuang asked with a smile.

"I’ll eat whatever you make that’s delicious," Lin Guo’er replied, smiling.

"Alright. My noodles are tasty. Why don’t you have some of mine?" Lin Kuang said with a wicked smile.

"Okay! I’ll have some of yours," Lin Guo’er happily agreed.

A moment after agreeing, however, she sensed something was off. The way he’d phrased that sounded a bit wicked, didn’t it?! Realizing this, Lin Guo’er glared at him. "You bastard!"

"Who, me? I’m such an upstanding guy, how could I be a bastard?" Lin Kuang said, feigning an expression of pure innocence.

"Pah! You, upstanding? You’re nothing but a bastard! Now hurry up and go make me some noodles!" Lin Guo’er said irritably.

"Of course. I just offered you some of my noodles. Did your mind wander into the gutter?" Lin Kuang said, his eyes wide as if he couldn’t believe she would think such a thing.

Seeing his expression, Lin Guo’er ground her teeth in frustration. The bastard was clearly doing it on purpose, yet he was blaming her. He was an absolute bastard!

"Are you going to make me noodles or not?" she demanded impatiently.

"Of course I am! My darling Guo’er’s word is my command; how could I dare refuse? I’m going right now. You just wait here for me," Lin Kuang said with a beaming smile.

"Hmph. That’s more like it." Lin Guo’er hummed in satisfaction, feeling quite pleased inside.
