Chapter 326: Chapter 326: Building a Manor (1)

When Feng Xuxu caught sight of the Demon Lord, her body couldn’t stop trembling. If she had a knife in her hand, she believed he would be a dead man by now.

"Take him away, assign more people to watch over him." Clenching her fists tightly, she stared unblinkingly at the Demon Lord.

"Yes." Turning around, he led the team escorting the Demon Lord towards the forbidden area of the Prince Residence. There lay a secret prison cell, known only to a few trusted individuals, with the rest kept in the dark.

The night breeze blew gently, its cool chill penetrating the heart, as the bright moonlight shone over the land, casting the shadows of two figures.

"Princess, watch your step; there are small stones here." Zhu Lengyun, holding a lantern ahead, carefully watched over the princess, repeatedly cautioning her about the ground.

The two slowly made their way to the secret prison in the Prince Residence. Before they could approach, they sensed a breeze from behind.

"This subordinate greets the princess." A person clad in black clothes kneeled solemnly on the ground.

Feng Xuxu observed that apart from the two sharp and spirited eyes, everything else was enveloped in black clothes, blending into the dark night, making it difficult to discern their presence.

"Get up, open it; I want to have a look inside."

Pulling out the key from her waist, the great lock made of Millennium Cold Iron opened with a clang.

As soon as she stepped into the dungeon, a damp scent hit her nostrils. After only a few steps, sweat formed on her forehead, and her clothes clung to her body.

"Princess, perhaps we should go back. This place never sees sunlight all year round, and there’s a dark aura in the dungeon. What if it provokes them..." Zhu Lengqing, seeing the princess’s forehead drenched with sweat, was deeply concerned.

Upon hearing this, Feng Xuxu caressed her belly, "If they can’t endure even this much, what can they do in the future? It’s fine; let’s continue." She waved her hand, cutting off Lengqing’s words.

After passing through dense hidden weapons and layers of guards, they finally arrived at the deepest part of the dungeon, a cell made solely from Millennium Cold Iron.

Seeing the Demon Lord hung in a spread-eagle position on the rack, his tattered clothes stained with blood, and his body bearing obvious lash marks.

Applause erupted; a few sudden claps broke the silent cell, making the slumbering Demon Lord struggle to raise his head. Through the silver mask, he looked at the person he dreamt of day and night.

"Hehehe, beautiful one, have you come to release me?" Even though imprisoned and battered, the Demon Lord didn’t forget to tease her.

Upon hearing his words, Feng Xuxu only let out a cold laugh, her chilly gaze shooting towards the Demon Lord, "You seem very fond of dreaming. I just wonder if you’ve ever dreamt of your end."

Hearing her words, the Demon Lord stuck out his tongue to lick his cracked lips, then laughed hoarsely, "Hahaha, I have dreamt of it. It was beautiful. In a romantic season of blooming flowers, we lay together in coffins, with just you and me there."

Feng Xuxu saw his somewhat frenzied look, his bulging eyes as if they were about to pop out, the whites filled with blood vessels.

"Go, take off his mask for this princess. I want to see just how nauseating the face hidden beneath that mask can be."

"Princess, his mask is special. We’ve tried hard, but we couldn’t get it off," said a guard stepping forward with a helpless expression as he reported with hands clasped.

"Hehehehehe... Beautiful one, do you want to see my face? Come here, step forward, and I will tell you how to take it off." He licked his tongue, his expression one of excitement.

"Then strip off his face along with the mask. Just make sure he doesn’t die," she huffed with contempt for the shameless creature.

The guard stole a glance at the princess and took a silver-gleaming dagger from a nearby rack of torture devices. He walked step by step towards the Demon Lord, holding the dagger next to him, gesturing as if deciding where to cut.
