The two of them drove to Taikoo Li and walked into the Hermes store.

Compared to the LV store she was at earlier,

the foot traffic in the Hermes store was significantly lighter.

The sales associate asked softly, "Ma’am, would you like me to give you an introduction?"

"No, thank you. I’ll just take a look on my own first."

Tan Hua smiled politely, her gaze drifting over the many bags.

"Of course."

The sales associate nodded with a smile and replied, "Then please, see if there’s anything you like, and I can tell you more about it..."

Tan Hua felt that every single one was beautiful; she was dazzled by the choices.

Qi Sheng wrapped an arm around his girlfriend’s slender waist and asked with a smile, "Which one do you like?"

"I..."

Tan Hua hesitated, then leaned in to whisper in Qi Sheng’s ear.

"They all seem so expensive. Maybe we should go look at LV bags instead?"

"I said we’re buying Hermes. All you have to do is choose. You don’t need to worry about the price."

"Okay."

Seeing that Qi Sheng seemed dead set on buying nothing but Hermes,

Tan Hua pointed to a gray bag.

"How much is this one?"

"Ma’am, you have excellent taste. This is our most classic Birkin bag."

"And it’s in Elephant Gray, one of the three holy grail colors. A timeless classic."

The sales associate launched into a flurry of compliments for Tan Hua.

"The bag you’ve chosen is made from Togo calfskin with an anseam stitch. It’s soft, yet scratch- and water-resistant. The color also perfectly suits your age and disposition..."

After a brief introduction, the sales associate began her spiel, putting on a regretful expression.

"This bag is priced at 158,000 yuan. Unfortunately, all of our stock has already been reserved. We don’t have any available at the moment."

Even though she had been mentally prepared, Tan Hua was still a little shocked by the price.

She had plenty of handbags, thanks to having a boyfriend like Qi Sheng,
