Chapter 1622: Chapter 1622: All Were Stopped
"The Prince is busy. He won’t see anyone." The servant said coldly to them, "Please leave!"
"Busy? You didn’t even go to inform him, how do you know he’s busy?" The girl didn’t feel rebuffed; instead, she blinked her pretty eyes, hoping she could go in and speak a word.
The servant didn’t reply because similar questions needed to be answered numerous times each day, so the servants simply chose silence.
The two girls exchanged a glance, and the other girl asked, "So when will he be free? We can wait right here."
The servant still didn’t answer.
The girl peeked inside and asked again, "Is the Prince in there?"
The servant still didn’t answer, standing there with a stern face like a doorkeeper.
The other girl quickly took out a can of tea leaves from her bag, "This is a fine tea my father has treasured for a long time. I want to give it to the Prince. It won’t take long, just two minutes. Can we go in?"
The servant maintained a stern face, looking at them without any emotion, "Even if Prince Louis is not busy, he won’t see any women."
"Why?" The girl asked in surprise, blurting out, "Does he have a problem with his preference?"
The question made the servant’s face turn pale!
At this moment, Ian Shelby happened to come out from the side hall and saw the two young, well-dressed girls blocked at the door at a glance.
And their words — does he have a problem with his preference? — just happened to float into his ears.
Causing him to frown slightly, Ian started walking towards the entrance.
The two girls just happened to see him; this was the first time seeing him after leaving the ball, at such a close distance.
Ian was tall and slender, with clear and bright features, giving people a sunny feeling.
For a second, the smiles on the two girls’ faces became dazzling, and even their heartbeats became erratic.
The Prince is walking towards us!
"Prince, this can of tea is for you!" The girl raised the can of tea towards him, her smile so sweet it was like a lump of honey.
"Hello, Prince." The servant at the door greeted him respectfully.
Ian’s cold gaze fell on the girl’s face, "Don’t come again in the future. It’s not that I’m not interested in women, I’m just not interested in you."
He stood still, with that aloof and proud demeanor, making one feel beyond reach, instantly cooling the two girls’ hearts by half.
At this moment, Winnie Vance, the general’s daughter, walked over confidently in high heels.
Since seeing once at the ball, this Prince Louis had moved into Miss Vance’s heart.
She didn’t come over immediately because she had just received this custom-made dress.
Wearing the most beautiful, high-end clothes to see the most beloved person is the most romantic in life.
Pleasing oneself in appearance just as pleasing those who appreciate it.
But as Winnie walked, she suddenly saw two women blocked at the door, and Prince Louis was there, as if they were entangled with Prince Louis.
Winnie couldn’t help but quicken her pace.
"Prince, my father is Allen, a high official of the royal family, let’s be friends?"
"Prince, can we come in and have a seat?"
Ian felt that humans were really difficult to communicate with; just as he was about to walk in, Winnie arrived at the palace entrance.
"Hello, Prince Louis." Winnie directly ignored the two women, looking at him confidently.
Ian’s gaze lightly swept over her, then fell on Arthur coming this way from not far, finally stirring a slight ripple in Ian’s heart.
"Prince." Arthur came over quickly, his lips slightly curled up, standing at the entrance, looking at the three young girls standing there, a bit unclear about what was going on.
"Come on in." Ian was very pleased because Arthur was his playmate since childhood, "What brings you here today?"
Arthur followed him inside, while the three girls were stopped by the servants, feeling extremely awkward!
And Winnie felt particularly embarrassed; Prince Louis hadn’t even glanced at her!
