No matter the time, Yan Xinya was always full of energy, like a husky that never runs out of steam.

Just after winter, the frostbite on her toes hadn’t fully healed, and now with water seeping into her shoes, her feet felt icy to the bone, dragging her mood down.
“Wen Yang! What’s going on?!”
Wen Yang, brushing off rain from his shoulders, could only give a wry smile at Yan Xinya’s questioning. “Every time she sees water, she just has to stomp around in it. It’s impossible to hold her back; of course her shoes got soaked.”

The serious tone made both Yan Xinya and Lily freeze in confusion.
“What’s going on?”
