As the main stage of her little romance world, this school was undeniably more liberal than most places.

Otherwise, she wouldn’t constantly be running into lovebirds doing who-knows-what in the campus gardens.

Not only did Ning Chu have to stay vigilant against the deeply hidden supporting characters, but she also had to keep an eye out for random girls eyeing Wen Yang.

Why not? With her looks and figure now, there weren’t many girls in school who could compete with her. Standing proudly beside Wen Yang, she could make it clear to everyone—let the other women give up already!

Wen Yang already had a gorgeous girlfriend; who would have the nerve to think they could measure up?

Ning Chu clung to Wen Yang’s arm, her lovely eyes scanning the surrounding girls with a sharp gaze, fiercely glaring back at any men whose gazes lingered on her.

The way she looked so protective was almost like Hei Dou guarding her food.

Wen Yang glanced down at Ning Chu, guessing her thoughts. “Don’t worry. I’ve read your little romance novel several times; I’ll recognize any storylines as they come up.” 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮

“‘Read’... as if that’s the right word...” Even though she had already confessed to Wen Yang, Ning Chu still felt a bit embarrassed whenever her book came up, muttering, “Still, stay alert; who knows if you’d actually prefer to play the romance lead.”

“I only want to be your leading man.”

A faint blush colored Ning Chu’s delicate ears, and she gave Wen Yang’s leg a frustrated kick.

As they walked toward the classroom building, Wen Yang asked curiously, “Come to think of it, doesn’t your novel have a bit of a fantasy element to it?”

“So, do those things exist in reality too? Like tentacle monsters, magical girls... ghosts? I’ve already seen one of those.”

“I wouldn’t know... I was terrified of those things at first, but I haven’t encountered any,” Ning Chu said with a helpless shrug.

When it came to the fantastical, her succubus body was magical enough.

Leaving aside the fact that her markings could change color and her pain could turn to pleasure, her appetite alone was extraordinary. Though she looked small and delicate, she could handle all of Wen Yang with ease.

Ordinary people would either end up in the hospital or, worse, in an urn.

Yet Ning Chu’s body was perfectly fine—at most, a bit sore the next day or left with a few marks. Such was the power of a succubus.

As soon as they stepped into the classroom, a gust of air brushed Ning Chu’s face. She instinctively stepped back but was quickly pulled into a warm embrace, with a cool, smooth cheek rubbing against hers.

“Ning Chu! It’s been ages!”

All eyes turned toward them, and Ning Chu, feeling a mix of embarrassment and awkwardness, looked down, spotting a thick tail wagging high and fast behind the girl.

“Why are you acting like a dog!”

Ning Chu struggled to push Yan Xinya’s face away.

“A domesticated wolf is basically a dog!”

Did she not even realize Ning Chu was insulting her?

After such an enthusiastic greeting from the wolf girl, Ning Chu could only resign herself, rubbing her sore cheek as she followed Xinya to her already claimed seat.

Just like last semester, Wen Yang sat to her left, while Yan Xinya and Lily were on her right.

As soon as she sat down, Ning Chu perked up, listening to the nearby conversations.

“No way! It’s only been a month, and Ning Chu’s gotten so pretty? Did she get plastic surgery?”

“So, is she a guy or a girl?”

“I heard from Lin Li she’s a girl. The beast-eared girls can smell it.”

“Seriously? Why can’t she be a guy!!”

Compared to a month ago, Ning Chu’s features hadn’t changed much. The most noticeable change was her fuller figure and a deepened allure after certain “intense experiences.”

Last semester, only the beast-eared girls in her class knew she was female, but this semester, the rumor had spread. Now, a lot of classmates recognized her as a girl.

Only a few people who were fans of “cute guys” # Nоvеlight # were heartbroken, and a few fujoshis sighed in disappointment.

A few minutes later, the bell rang, and a familiar figure walked into the classroom with a textbook in hand.

“An’an is officially a teacher now!” Yan Xinya nudged Ning Chu’s arm excitedly. “Last semester, she was just a staff member. This is amazing!”

However, Ning Chu and Wen Yang both looked like they’d seen a ghost.

“What’s wrong?” Xinya asked.

“N-Nothing,” Ning Chu replied, her face twitching slightly.

Had this ghost bribed all the school leaders to become a teacher? How did she get a diploma? Does a degree from her past life even count?

“I’m your new advisor,” An’an said with a gentle smile, turning to write her name and contact information on the blackboard. “If you have any issues, feel free to come to me. My office is in Building A, Room 404.”

“She’s not a subject teacher...”

But having a ghost as their advisor was strange enough!

Last semester, the advisor who’d been harassing female students ended up sent off by Wen Yang to “work on sewing machines,” and now they had an advisor rumored to seduce male students?

“Wen Yang, what do we do? You’re the class president. Didn’t you know about this?”

“I’d only had a couple of brief calls about it; I didn’t know it was her...” Wen Yang’s face looked grim, avoiding An’an’s gaze. “I think I should resign as class president.”

An’an may look nice, and her figure was great, but a ghost who might or might not eat people?

And besides, she couldn’t compare to his little succubus.

“Quit as soon as possible!” Ning Chu said urgently, rummaging through her bag to pull out a small fluff ball. “Here, keep this on you.”

“What is it?”

“It’s fur I plucked from Hei Dou’s tail, rolled into a ball.”

The ghost was afraid of black cats, so with Hei Dou’s generous “donation,” at least Wen Yang would be safe.

“Which students are the class officers? Stand up so I can get to know you.”

“An’an! I’m the vice president!” Yan Xinya immediately jumped up, pointing at Wen Yang. “And he’s the president, so you can find him if you need anything.”

As An’an’s intrigued gaze landed on Wen Yang, his smile faded, feeling a chill run down his spine. He forced himself to stand up.

Ning Chu gave a reproachful glance at the wolf girl.

Of course, she had no idea about Ning Chu’s book or that their new advisor was a ghost, so Ning Chu couldn’t exactly blame her.

“Teacher, I don’t want to continue as president...”

“If you have concerns, come see me in my office later to discuss it privately.”

An’an interrupted him and then nodded to the subject teacher waiting by the door, giving a polite nod before leaving the room.

Discuss privately? That’s practically throwing him to the wolves!

Ning Chu and Wen Yang exchanged worried glances. The first day of the new semester, and they were already hit with a surprise like this.
