Acting oblivious, Ren simply waved his hands up and down before replying.

"A suit? You guys definitely haven’t taken the time to go suit shopping yet, have you?"

Hearing my words, Jin, in a much less energetic voice than before, simply sighed and nodded his head.

"Yeah...I haven’t."

Behind Jin, Han was visibly relieved as his expression softened, and he walked towards us.

Thus, my plans to sleep had been changed.

Although the three of us could easily exit the academy and head to luxurious stores in the capital, the academy had set up a shop specifically for winter ball, so we decided to head there.

After I swung by my dorm and grabbed my wallet, I met up with Jin and Han by our class building.

Contrary to what I told the boys, I didn’t have a suit for the ball either, so this wouldn’t be wasted time.

Walking through the empty and silent streets of the academy was kind of eery.

Usually, the streets were always full and loud on my walk to school and back to my dorm, so seeing it the opposite was weird.

Only our class had been let out early, so all the other first, second, and third years were stuck in their classrooms.

When I first passed by the dress shop the academy had set up, the line was massive, and there was even a waitlist to enter the shop.

So, now was the perfect time to go.

Glancing at Han and Jin to my right, I asked, bored of the familiar scenery that surrounded the school.

"Any plans for the ball."

Since I had never seen the two of them casually talk to me, I was curious to see if Jin and Han had some friends in the upper years or other first-year classes.

However, both of them vehemently shook their heads.

Jin sighed and said, placing his hand on Ren’s shoulder.

"Not all of us are social butterflies like you, Ren."

Nodding his head in agreement, Han grabbed Ren’s other shoulder and continued.

"Yeah, I mean, you talked to Liam for the first time and became friends with him just in time we had in the coliseum!"

"..."

Shaking my head upon realizing they were being sarcastic, I was tempted to bring up my other friends...when I suddenly stopped.

Besides Zach, all of them were...female, and knowing Jin and Han, if I brought one up, they would immediately bombard me with questions.

Accepting their words, I shrugged my shoulders and looked up, spotting the dress shop in the distance.

With three massive floors, the shop contained windows on every side, proudly displaying their refined suits and exquisite dresses.

Countless dummies wearing the clothes of the shop were put in front of the window; however, as I looked at them, I couldn’t feel anything but guilt.

For some reason, they seemed to be exactly the same as the dummies I faced off against in the AI dummy training rooms.

...was it just me, or were those dummy models staring at me!?

Shaking my head, I halted in front of the shop as we arrived, not surprised to see it completely empty.

Going on ahead of me, Jin and Han eagerly entered the stop, completely skipping the map set up outside.

Yeah...the store was so big that you needed a map to navigate through it.

I was also shocked when I saw the map for the first time, but after looking at the map...I’m more amazed.

"...why is there a whole quarter-floor for cologne and fragrance!?"

After taking a moment to memorize the map with my eyes, I entered the building through the doors, which conveniently slid open as I approached them.

Walking through the door, I immediately felt the temperature increase tenfold as the hot air flooded out of the vents above me.

The entire shop was also covered in a sweet aroma that made me feel as if I were eating something sweet, like cotton candy.

Glancing around the shop, I immediately noticed Han and Jin, who were frozen only a couple of steps in front of me.

Sighing, I grabbed both their shoulders, walked forward, and dragged them along with me.

"The second floor is for men’s clothes."

Except for the occasional ringing sound from the heating system, the store was completely quiet, and besides the employees, there seemed to be only us.

Recalling the map outside the building, I easily found an elevator and finally let go of Jin and Han.

Regaining his composure, Jin tapped his foot up and down on the floor while Han stayed silent and stayed directly at the elevator.

Why were they...so awkward?

The only things I had seen around us were dresses and skirts, nothing to be weirded out or confused by.

I was a teenager just like them, wasn’t I?

As the elevator door opened and the three of us entered, I finally took the chance to ask.

"What happened to the two of you?"

Shaking their heads, the two replied in unison while clearly avoiding eye contact with me.

"Nothing."

Sighing, I walked through the now-open elevator doors, seeing countless collared shirts and blazers around me.

Patting the two of them on the shoulder, I walked towards the section for shirts and said.

"We’ll meet back in here in twenty minutes, alright?"

The two, also splitting off, nodded their heads and moved in opposite directions.

Passing by countless collared shirts, I finally halted as I spotted a rack of white ones hanging nearby.

Without looking too much, I picked a decently expensive one before moving on to the pants.

After picking up a pair of pants, a white collared shirt, and a black blazer, I was about to enter the changing room when something caught my eye.

"accessories..?"

In front of me were countless tables laid out with hundreds of different rings, necklaces, and even bags.

The top of the tables were glass, so you couldn’t touch the items, only able to view them from the outside.
