Chapter 584: Profound Extremities World

"What kind of formation?" Yu Nianzhen asked.

"It looks like a protective formation but..." Jiang Yue frowned and continued to look at the formation.

"I will study it first."

"Good." Yu Nianzhen said and rubbed his lover’s hair.

After that, Jiang Yue sat cross-legged in front of the door.

Since he had nothing to do, Yu Nianzhen sat behind him and continued to comprehend the primordial laws in the surroundings.

Three days later, Jiang Yue finally broke the formation.

"It was a protective formation with a rebound trap." He said with a hint of admiration in his voice.

Hearing the voice, Yu Nianzhen opened his eyes and looked at his lover.

"Did you learn something?" He asked.

"Mmmm." Jiang Yue nodded.

For a formation master, breaking a formation was a learning process.

This time, he gained a lot and couldn’t wait to try it out.

Unfortunately, the situation did not allow it.

"Azhen, I have an idea." Jiang Yue suddenly said.

"What idea?"

"When we return to the Cangxing world, I will arrange a formation forest on one of the islands. It can be used to train formation masters for our ZhenYue family."

"That’s a good idea." Yu Nianzhen immediately agreed.

When they were alone, they didn’t need to consider so many things.

However, now that they were relocating their families to the Cangxing world, they had to plan for future generations.

"I also think so." Jiang Yue chuckled and stood up.

"Let’s go in." He said.

A moment later, the two walked through the door and entered the suite.

Like the rest on the sixth floor, the room had jade seats and wooden tables.

However, the quality of jade and wood used was more than a level higher.

Most importantly, there were remnants of auxiliary formations all over the room.

"This should have been the leader’s room." Jiang Yue said and Yu Nianzhen nodded in agreement.

"Both the jade and wood have a mind-calming effect." He said.

"Azhen, let’s look around. There may be something in this suite."

"Good."

Unfortunately, the two found nothing after searching for an hour.

However, they were not discouraged.

After all, the room was protected by a powerful formation.

If the formation was not protecting a treasure, what was the point?

Considering this, the two began another round of searching.

This time, their labour bore fruit.

"I found something." Yu Nianzhen said and Jiang Yue ran towards him.

"What?" He urgently asked.

However, Yu Nianzhen didn’t answer.

Instead, he opened his palm and revealed a fist-sized grey stone.

"An image stone?" Jiang Yue couldn’t help but be surprised.

"Do you want to watch?"

"Of course." Jiang Yue said and Yu Nianzhen chuckled.

Soon after, the two left the suite’s training room and returned to the sitting room.

"Where did you find it?" Jiang Yue asked as they sat down.

"It was hidden inside the putuan."

"No wonder we didn’t find it when we first searched."

"Mmmm." Yu Nianzhen agreed and placed the image stone on the table.

"Are you ready?" He asked but Jiang Yue didn’t answer.

Instead, he injected a stream of qi into the image stone to activate it.

Less than a breath later, the image stone exuded a soft white light and a woman appeared within the light.

The woman was a rare beauty.

She had an oval face, peach blossom eyes, and waist-length black hair.

In the image, her expression was calm and the white robe she wore enhanced her immortal temperament.

"My name is Gu Yan." She started.

An hour later, Yu Nianzhen and Jiang Yue looked at each other with solemn expressions.

"Azhen, what do we do?"

"First, let’s accept the legacy. After that, we will prepare and return to the Cangxing world as soon as possible." Yu Nianzhen said and Jiang Yue nodded.

From the image stone, they learned that Gu Yan and her party were natives of a cultivation world called the Profound Extremities World.

According to Gu Yan, the Profound Extremities world was a saint-grade world. Consequently, the most powerful cultivators were peak-level saint realm masters.

Unfortunately, no one in recorded history had been able to advance to the God realm.

Still, the saint realm cultivators did not give up.

After all, cultivation was going against the sky.

In pursuit of the God realm, the saint realm cultivators tried many methods.

However, none of the methods worked.

In the end, one saint had an idea and decided to do the unthinkable.

This unthinkable was to refine the world’s primordial source.

However, the primordial source was not something that a cultivator; even a saint, could refine as soon as they decided.

First, each world had a will and powerful guardians.

If a cultivator wanted to refine a world’s primordial source, they first had to destroy the world’s will and guardians.

Fortunately, this was easier said than done.

Without meticulous planning and a long lifespan, refining a world’s primordial source was a groundless dream.

Unfortunately, the heretic saint had a long lifespan and a sharp mind.

At first, no one noticed or cared about the disappearances.

After all, who would notice or care about the sudden disappearance of a few young geniuses?

However, when more geniuses continued to disappear, the powerful beings began to take notice.

Unfortunately, it was all too late.

By then, the heretic saint had used unknown methods to weaken the guardians and will of the world.

When the world was weakened, the saint refined the primordial source and her cultivation advanced to half a step to the God realm.

Contrary, the Profound Extremities World began to fall apart.

First, random quakes appeared on land and the seas.

After that, the mountains began to collapse and the seas began to dry.

Seeing this, the saints and powerful immortals were extremely alarmed.

At a loss, they came together and forcibly sealed the Profound Extremities World, effectively stopping the collapse.

However, this was only a temporary measure.

Without a primordial source, the Profound Extremities world could not exist.

Left with no other choice, the world’s saints led several expeditions to search for ways to replenish the primordial source of the Profound Extremities world.

Unexpectedly, Gu Yan’s expedition found a way.

Unfortunately, the expedition encountered a catastrophe and was trapped in a mortal world.
