Chapter 582: Black Token Space

"Master." A voice called from behind the three.

When they turned, they saw Qian Chen.

At a glance, the young man looked healthy and didn’t look like someone who was fatally injured less than a month ago.

"How is your body?" Yu Nianzhen asked.

"Don’t worry master, I am fine." Qian Chen said and thumped his chest in emphasis.

"That’s good." Yu Nianzhen nodded but his expression turned more solemn.

"I heard the ancient relic is a good place for enlightenment. Are you ready?" He asked and Qian Chen immediately nodded before he spoke.

"I will definitely not let you down." The young man assured and Jiang Yue chuckled in amusement when he saw the determined look on the person’s face.

However, he did not say anything.

Although Yu Nianzhen wanted to teach Tang Xiao, Qian Chen, and Xue Hua, Jiang Yue knew the swordsman would not compromise the requirements he had set.

Unless the three achieved something in the ancient relic, they would most definitely fail to become disciples.

’Good luck.’ He thought and subconsciously crossed his fingers.

After talking for a while, Qian Chen left the group and went to stand with the Qian family.

In the same way, Tang Xiao and Xue Hua greeted Yu Nianzhen and Jiang Yue but eventually went to stand with their families.

When the time came, Gu Dong and several ancestors moved to the front of the group.

"The ancient relic will be open for three months." Ancestor Wu said in a loud voice and quickly continued when he had everyone’s attention.

"During that time, everyone should remember the rules."

"Rules?" Jiang Yue frowned and looked at Yu Nianzhen.

Fortunately, Ancestor Wu did not leave them hanging.

"In the ancient relic, no one is allowed to fight. If you are caught fighting, at the very least, you will forfeit the right to enter the ancient relic in the future. At most, if something goes wrong because of the fighting, the culprit may be executed."

"If you don’t want to die, remember not to fight in the ancient relic. If there is an unreconcilable grudge, wait until you leave the relic to settle it. Do you all understand?"

"We understand." Several people answered in unison.

Hearing this, ancestor Wu nodded and continued his lecture.

"In the relic, you should always maintain a distance of two metres from the next person. Don’t interfere with each other’s enlightenment."

"We know."

After explaining the rules, Ancestor Wu and the other ancestors formed a circle around a stone.

The stone was one metre tall and half a metre wide.

At a glance, the stone was ordinary but when the ancestors circled it, the stone began to shimmer in and out of reality.

After half an hour of shimmering, the stone began to transform.

In the blink of an eye, it became two metres tall and a metre wide.

At the same time, one hundred rectangular pits appeared on the stone.

Seeing this, the martial artists couldn’t help but be excited.

"What an elaborate setup." Jiang Yue muttered while looking at the stone slab.

"The pits are just enough to fit a token." Yu Nianzhen said and Jiang Yue nodded in agreement.

"Swordswoman Yu, Master Jiang, please come first." Gu Dong suddenly said.

"Is that okay?" Jiang Yue asked with a frown on his face.

After all, he and Yu Nianzhen were guests.

Although they were powerful, it didn’t make sense for them to enter the relic first.

"Traditionally, the holders of the black tokens go first." Gu Dong revealed and the two understood.

Since there was nothing to it, Jiang Yue and Yu Nianzhen didn’t feel burdened.

Without hesitation, they placed their tokens in two pits on the stone slab.

"What..." Jiang Yue started but before he could finish, a sudden force pulled him into the stone slab.

A moment later, Jiang Yue found himself on a plain stretching as far as his eyes could see.

"This place feels like an ancient land." A voice said and Jiang Yue turned to see Yu Nianzhen.

"The primordial laws in this place are quite intact. The martial artists are not wrong, this place is a treasure land."

"Azhen, let’s find a place to practice." Jiang Yue urged with a happy expression.

At first, he and Yu Nianzhen didn’t expect the ancient relic would be useful to them.

Unexpectedly, even with their immortal realm cultivation, the ancient relic was still useful.

"I suddenly feel that three months is not enough." Jiang Yue sighed.

"Let’s start with three months. We will find a way if we need more time."

"Good."

After that, the two left their arrival point and walked towards the horizon.

However, they soon realised that no one else had entered the same space as them.

"It seems this place can only be accessed with the black tokens." Jiang Yue said. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶

"It makes sense." Yu Nianzhen said with a solemn expression.

From the laws he could feel, the current space was not suitable for martial artists.

If the martial artists entered the black tokens space, they would likely be confused and may end up destroying their tao.

"Azhen, there is something over there." Jiang Yue suddenly said in an excited voice.

Hearing this, Yu Nianzhen turned about and stared into the distance.

As his lover, mentioned there was a huge thing on the far horizon.

However, because were too far away, they couldn’t see what the thing was.

"Do you want to go there directly or go as we practice?" He asked.

"Go as we practice." Jiang Yue said.

Although he was curious, he understood that practice was the foundation of everything.

At the moment, he didn’t know how far away the thing was.

If he and Yu Nianzhen wasted precious time, they would definitely regret it.

After deciding, the two sat cross-legged and began to feel the laws around them.

Because the laws were abundant, feeling them was not difficult but understanding them was harder than expected.

Still, the two did their best.

Over the following two months, Jiang Yue and Yu Nianzhen did their best to comprehend the laws but they also took some time to walk towards the huge thing.

After two months of walking, the two had finally made some progress and could now tell what the huge thing was.

"How is this possible?" Jiang Yue muttered with an incredulous expression.
