Chapter 546: Meeting the Two Families
Half a month later, more than two dozen people sat in the main room of the ancient palace.
These people included Yu Nianzhen, Jiang Yue, and members of the Yu and Jiang families.
Looking at his grandson, Jiang Chen sighed.
"Boy, you really don’t want me to live in peace." He complained while looking at Jiang Yue.
"Grandpa, how can you blame me?" Jiang Yue also complained and smiled at his grandfather.
"At that time, Azhen and I were manipulated into crashing our cars."
"What matters is that you are both fine." Mother Jiang said and forced herself not to cry.
It had been more than ten days since Yu Chang and Jiang Xing revealed everything to their families.
However, the matter was so unbelievable that it took ten days for everyone to accept the unexpected reality.
"Nianzhen, what is your plan?" Yu Gen asked while looking at his grandson.
"XiaoYue and I plan to experience a mortal life. In the meantime, we will let everyone stay in our ancient palace. When the time comes, we will return to the Cangxing world." Yu Nianzhen said.
"Is it necessary to stay in the palace?" Mother Yu asked with a frown on her face.
From what she knew, her son and Jiang Yue would be on Earth for almost one hundred years.
When she thought she would be stuck inside for one hundred years, she felt a little reluctant.
"Staying in a place filled with immortal qi will condition and revitalise your bodies. If you are lucky, some of you may even develop origins before we return to the Cangxing world." Jiang Yue informed.
"Come to think of it, my body feels a little different since we entered the ancient palace." Someone commented and several people agreed.
"Cousin, is origin the same as spirit root?" One of the Jiang family youngsters asked.
Hearing the question, Jiang Yue nodded and smiled at his cousin.
"In novels, cultivators have spirit roots but in the Cangxing world, we have origins."
"Elder brother, what is your origin? Can you show it to me?" Yu Chang asked and looked at Yu Nianzhen with an eager look on his face.
"I have a sword origin." Yu Nianzhen said and a small sword appeared on the palm of his hand.
"Does Brother Jiang also have a sword origin?" Yu Chang continued.
"No, I have a moon bead origin. I am a master of illusions." Jiang Yue clarified and also revealed his origin tool.
"If one doesn’t have an origin, does it mean they can’t cultivate?" Grandmother Jiang asked with a worried look on her face.
"Grandma, you don’t have to worry." Jiang Yue said and quickly continued.
"Everyone in the Cangxing world has an origin and can be a cultivator. However, aptitude determines how far a cultivator can reach."
"Brother, what’s your aptitude?" Jiang Xing asked.
"Azhen and I have an aptitude of ten. It’s the highest level." Jiang Yue said with a proud look on his face,
"Nianzhen, you said that cultivation begins at thirteen. Is it too late for us to start?" Father Yu asked with a solemn look in his eyes.
"Your age is a bit of a problem. However, Xiaoyue and I have prepared many resources. Don’t worry about anything." Yu Nianzhen said and looked at the elders.
"Azhen is right. We have prepared many resources so there is nothing to worry about."
"What about the company?" A voice suddenly asked and everyone turned to look at the person.
The person was Yu Nianzhen’s uncle.
He was the manager of a Yu family branch and was a little reluctant to abandon the Yu family’s company.
"Uncle, if you wish to stay, we won’t force you to leave with us." Yu Nianzhen bluntly said.
"I didn’t mean..." The uncle started but stopped mid-sentence with an embarrassed look on his face.
"Uncle, you can also start a business in the Cangxing world." Jiang Yue said with a smile on his face.
"Nianzhen, have you started a business in the Cangxing world?" Yu Gen asked and looked at his grandson.
"No, grandfather." Yu Nianzhen shook his head.
"When we first arrived in the Cangxing world, we were both thirteen. At that time, we were poor and barely had food let alone capital to start a business." Yu Nianzhen revealed and sighed before he continued.
"Later, we joined a sect and since then, we have been cultivating without taking a break."
"Cousin, are you the inner disciples of a sect?" Someone asked and looked at Jiang Yue.
"No." Jiang Yue said and quickly continued.
"Several thousand years ago, there was a big war in the Cangxing world. More than ninety per cent of the world population died during that war and our Sea Cloud sect suffered heavy losses."
"Unfortunately, soon after the war, all nascent soul realm cultivators were forcibly taken to another world. When we returned, more than five thousand years had passed and the Sea Cloud sect was no more."
"That’s too bad. I also want to join a sect." One of the youngsters said.
"There are many sects you can join in the Cangxing world. However, our Zhenyue Archipelago is not inferior to a sect." Jiang Yue said with a proud look in his eyes.
"Yue’er, is Zhenyue Archipelago the place you prepared for our families?" Mother Jiang asked.
"It is. The Archipelago has more than ten thousand islands." Jiang Yue nodded and began to praise the Archipelago.
"Before we came, we transplanted at least two immortal stone veins on each island. We also planted herbs, developed monster mountains, built training places, and created some small secret realms."
"Grandfather, it won’t be difficult for our two families to establish ourselves in the Cangxing world." Yu Nianzhen assured his grandfather.
As someone who grew up at his grandfather’s knee, he understood his grandfather very well.

"The cultivation world does not tolerate the weak."
"Elder brother, is it really so dangerous?" Yu Chang asked with a frown on his face.
"In the Zhenyue Archipelago, Xiaoyue and I can protect everyone. However, once you leave the Archipelago, you can only rely on yourself to stay alive. If something happens, we will avenge you but we won’t have the ability to bring you back to life." Yu Nianzhen said.
"Cousin, how powerful are you in the Cangxing world?" A youngster from the Yu family asked while looking at Yu Nianzhen.
However, Yu Nianzhen didn’t have a chance to answer because Yu Chang was ready with an answer.
"My eldest brother and brother Jiang are the most powerful cultivators in the Cangxing world." He said with a proud look on his face.
"Yue’er, is that true?" Mother Jiang asked and everyone looked at Jiang Yue.
"It’s true." Jiang Yue nodded.
"Azhen and I are both at the peak of the immortal realm." He said and then continued.
"Our Cangxing world is a mid-grade world and the highest cultivation level is the immortal realm."
"Mid-grade world?" Father Jiang suddenly spoke.
"Father, there are six ranks of worlds – mortal-grade world, low-grade world, mid-grade world, high-grade world, top-grade world, and the saint-grade world. Originally, the Cangxing world used to be a saint-grade world but a disaster happened and it was downgraded. Currently, there are no saint-grade worlds in our Ten Thousand Worlds realm."
"It seems there are many things we need to learn." Father Yu said with a solemn look in his eyes.
"Uncle Yu, you don’t have to worry since most people in the Cangxing world don’t know these things. You can take your time to understand everything." Jiang Yue said with a smile on his face.
After discussing for a while, everyone dispersed and returned to their homes.
In the following year, Yu Nianzhen and Jiang Yue spent most of their time accompanying their families.
At the same time, the Yu and Jiang families held meetings to discuss everyone’s position.
As expected, most people chose to go to the Cangxing world.
Considering that, the heads of the Yu and Jiang families transferred all the families’ assets to those who chose to stay behind.
