Chapter 348: Fight to End Things
"Husband." Lin Huang called in a coy voice.
As soon as he heard the call, Yu Ninzhen froze. An unprecedented killing intent filled his heart and he subconsciously clenched his hands.
"Husband, I have missed you." She continued as a flush pinkened her cheeks.
"Fellow Daoist Lin, I will only warn you once." Yu Nianzhen managed to say through gritted teeth.
It had been decades since he encountered Lin Huang in the Thousand Herbs Garden.
He hadn’t even thought of her for many years and didn’t expect that she still thought about him.
However, her thoughts didn’t matter.
He didn’t care about her feelings or point of view.
All he cared about was that she called him ’husband’.
This was a title reserved for Jiang Yue and he didn’t allow a random woman to sully it.
"Husb..." She started but Yu Nianzhen didn’t let her finish.
He swung his hand and a sharp sword intent flew out of his fingers and cantered towards the woman.
However, her beast instincts were incredibly sensitive to danger and she jumped back to avoid the sword intent.
"What do you think you are doing?" One of her entourage questioned angrily.
The person was a young man who looked a little older than Yu Nianzhen.
His cultivation was at the peak of the ninth level and was half a step into the core formation realm.
"Leave if you have nothing to trade." Yu Nianzhen said dispassionately.
Given a choice, he wanted to kill Lin Huang and her people.
Unfortunately, he had listened to Li Futian and knew the importance of preserving the strength of the Cangxing world.
’I hope she doesn’t continue crossing the line.’ He thought and a dangerous gleam flashed in his eyes.

Her words were less frivolous but the look in her eyes was determined.

She didn’t care that he had a Taoist companion and had no love for her.
In her mind, these were small problems that could be overcome with one round on her big bed.
"There is nothing to talk about. Fellow Daoist Lin, I have a Taoist companion. He and I have a soul bond that can never be broken or interfered with. If you insist on getting in the way, I will assume you wish for my death and I will treat you like an enemy."
When Lin Huang heard that, she looked at Yu Nianzhen carefully.
Many years ago, she heard that Yu Nianzhen and Jiang Yue’s Taoist bond was extremely restrictive.
However, she didn’t believe it and didn’t think that the two would go so far.

As if seeing his thoughts, Lin Huang smiled and a playful looked entered her eyes before she spoke.
"Everything started with a fight. Let’s end it with another."
"If you win, I will never bother you and your Taoist companion again. If you lose..." Her voice trailed and Yu Nianzhen waited for her to continue.
"If you lose, you will give me this cluster of star fire." She said and pointed at a cluster of star fire stored in a transparent bottle.
At that, Yu Nianzhen looked at the cluster of star fire he got in the Valley of Stars.
The fire was useful to cultivators with a fire origin and was especially beneficial to Lin Huang who descended from a fire phoenix.
However, Yu Nianzhen wasn’t convinced by the exchange.

"Okay." Yu Nianzhen immediately agreed.
Cloud water was the dew collected from the leaves of a white patterned cloud herb.
The white patterned cloud herb was used in many antidotes but its dew was a highly toxic hallucinogenic.
If used properly, even a nascent soul realm cultivator was not immune to the effects of cloud water.
"When do you want to duel?" Lin Huang asked.
"Right now is fine." Yu Nianzhen said and prepared to close his stall.
However, before he could do so, another group of cultivators arrived at his stall.
This group had four people and was led by a young man dressed in purple.
"What do you want for this space seed?" The person asked and pointed at one of the boxes on the table.
"I will change it for something of equal value. However, I may not change it if your treasures aren’t useful to me."
"Mmm." The purple-clothed youth nodded and fell into thought.
He wanted the space seed but wasn’t quite sure what counted as equal value.
After all, value was subjective in this case.
Just like how he valued the space seed but Yu Nianzhen didn’t.
"Take a look at these things and see if there is anything you want." The man said and took out five boxes.
Without delay, Yu Nianzhen opened the boxes and carefully examined the treasures.
Overall, the five treasures were extremely valuable and would sell for many spirit stones if auctioned outside the secret realm.
However, there was nothing that Yu Nianzhen needed.
’It’s harder than I expected.’ He thought and sighed in frustration.
"I am willing to change your space seed for any of those things." The young man stated and Yu Nianzhen sighed again.
Although he didn’t need any of the five treasures, he was a little interested in one of them.
’If I am not mistaken, this ball of silk is from a ten thousand years old water silkworm. The silk is just enough to make a robe for XiaoYue.’ He thought and dragged the box towards him.
"I will change the space seed for this." He said and the purple-clothed youth broke out in a brilliant smile.
For a moment there, he thought he couldn’t make the trade. Fortunately, there was something that the seller wanted.
"You can take it right away." Yu Nianzhen said and the person nodded happily.
In the blink of an eye, he took the space seed and Yu Nianzhen closed the stall.

Since things had come to this, his plan was to get it done and quickly return to the ancient palace.

He didn’t like the idea of being away when Jiang Yue was in retreat.
