’What is it doing?’ Yu Nianzhen wondered but he didn’t need to wonder for too long.
A few breaths after the sword entered the pool, the gold source essence began to boil.
A vortex appeared in the middle of the pool and a sucking sound reverberated in the surroundings.
’The gold source essence should be good for the sword.’ Yu Nianzhen thought with a little regret.
He originally planned to take the essence for his own use.

Shanjiang had risen from the peak of the spirit rank to the middle level of the profound rank.
In the Cangxing world, the profound rank was the highest level of treasures and weapons.
As it stood, Shanjiang was now among the best and Yu Nianzhen couldn’t help but worry.
’I should hide it until I become a little stronger.’ He thought with a little melancholy in his heart.
However, he didn’t have time to dwell on it because his divine sense sensed movement around the gold source stones mountain.
"Shanjiang’s breakthrough created a lot of disturbance. I should leave before others find the entrance into the mountain." Yu Nianzhen muttered and closed his eyes.
He concentrated on his bond with Jiang Yue and a smile curled his lips.
A moment later, his consciousness urged the golden teleportation talisman and Yu Nianzhen disappeared from the mountain.
When he reappeared, he was beside Jiang Yue.
The two were in a wide lake and Jiang Yue sat cross-legged in the middle of the lake.
’This place is filled with water qi and isn’t suitable for me. I will wait for him on the shore.’ Yu Nianzhen thought and took a deep look at his husband.
He wanted to kiss and touch him.
However, he didn’t want to disturb the other so he curbed his desire and swam to the shore.
While Jiang Yue cultivated, Yu Nianzhen practised his sword.
In this way, three months passed.
Yu Nianzhen stabilised his cultivation at the peak of the sixth level and re-practised his self-made sword arts.
On this day, he was practising the one hundred and eight basic sword moves when he felt eyes on him.
Without delay, he turned about and looked at the beautiful person in the middle of the lake.
"Do you like what you see?" He asked.
"Mmmm." Jiang Yue nodded and his eyes softened.
A moment later, he flew from the lake and launched himself into his husband’s arms.
"Azhen..." He called as the swordsman wrapped his arms around him.
"I am here." Yu Nianzhen said as a sense of home spread through his body.
Although they had only separated for a little more than two hundred days, that wasn’t exactly true.
The time in the tower of time flowed differently and they had technically not seen each other for more than one hundred years.
"I have missed you." Yu Nianzhen confessed in a hoarse voice.
"Show me." Jiang Yue said and aggressively kissed his husband.
At that, Yu Nianzhen didn’t hesitate.
He responded to the kiss and both moaned from pleasure.
Soon after, their clothes were all over the ground and they were rolling without regard for the world around them.
When it was over, five days had passed.
"Your cultivation has caught up with mine." Jiang Yue observed as they lay beside each other.
"Finally." Yu Nianzhen answered and Jiang Yue couldn’t help the smile that curled his lips.
"Have you seen the others?" He asked.
"I haven’t and I don’t think we should look for them."
"I also think so. We will meet when fate allows."
After saying that, a complex look entered his eyes and Yu Nianzhen looked at Jiang Yue in question.
"Do you know where we are?" Jiang Yue asked.
"I know." Yu Nianzhen replied and took out a map of the secret realm.
He pointed out their location and Jiang Yue listened attentively.
A day later, the two left the area.
For the next twenty years, they continued to explore the secret realm and their cultivation increased to the peak of the eighth level of the origin tempering realm.
Around this time, they finally found the trading area of the Nine Treasures secret realm.
"It’s several times larger than the trading area in the Thousand Herbs Garden." Jiang Yue observed and looked around in awe.
"There are more cultivators in the Nine Treasures secret realm than in the Thousand Herbs Garden."
"You are right. Azhen, I want to look around."
"Let’s find a place to stay first."
Although Jiang Yue wanted to shop right away, he understood his husband’s reasoning.

The Nine Treasures secret realm was too big.
After roaming for seventy years, Yu Nianzhen and Jiang Yue hadn’t covered more than a third of the secret realm.
Considering that, they wanted to use the trading area to find treasures from places they hadn’t managed to visit.
"Two fellow Daoists, my store sells talismans. I am willing to exchange them for spirit stones or treasures." A voice came and a young man stood in front of the two.
"Sorry, we don’t need talismans for the time being." Jiang Yue refused.
They bought a lot of talismans before they entered the Nine Treasures secret realm.
Over the past seventy years, they used some of them but more than half remained.
"Remember to find me if you change your mind."
With a smile, Jiang Yue pulled Yu Nianzhen to continue walking.
After the talisman shop was a store that sold random treasures.
With the mentality of trying their luck, the two entered the store but left disappointed.
Although the store had many treasures, none of them were suitable for the two so they moved on to the next store.
In this way, they walked around until the evening.
When night fell, they returned to the ancient palace and Jiang Yue couldn’t help but sigh in disappointment.
"There are so many good treasures but what is the point? It would be stupid to trade them if we won’t use them in the secret realm." He said.
"Don’t worry, we will find suitable treasures." Yu Nianzhen comforted and rubbed his husband’s hair.
Three days later, the two had searched most of the stores in the trading area and finally arrived on the last street.
"It wasn’t a complete loss." Jiang Yue comforted himself.
In three days, they didn’t find suitable treasures for themselves.
However, they exchanged an ice treasure for Bing Lan.
"It’s not over yet." Yu Nianzhen said and pulled Jiang Yue into a shop that sold demonic beast parts.
"At the very least, you can buy bones to engrave formations." He continued but Jiang Yue wasn’t listening.
As soon as they entered the store, Jiang Yue’s heart skipped a beat. The treasure compass didn’t react but something was attracting him.
On instinct, he walked toward the source of attraction with a dazed look in his eyes.
"Can I help the two fellow Daoists?" A young woman asked from behind a counter.
The young woman looked a little older than the two but her cultivation was only at the seventh level of the origin tempering ream.
"Is it okay to look around?" Yu Nianzhen asked.
He had noticed Jiang Yue’s distraction so he answered in place of the other.
"It’s okay." The young woman nodded.
"The things in my store can be exchanged with spirit stones or treasures. I prefer earth treasures if you have any."
"We will keep it in mind."
