Chapter 1886: Chapter 1886: Eighth Seraphim vs Eye of Darkness (Part 27)

Gu Shengyin stood at the entrance of the Great Cathedral for a long time.

This was the first time she was refused by God.

In the quiet Great Cathedral, the Book of Creation watched the silver figure leave somewhat despondently and sighed:

"God, do you really not wish to see Her Highness Gallia?"

The indifferent voice of God came out: "When she gives up thoughts that she shouldn’t have in her heart, that will be sufficient."

The Book of Creation: "..."

Alright, whatever makes You happy.

Actually, Gu Shengyin wasn’t as despondent as the Book of Creation imagined.

She was just a bit puzzled about what exactly had happened?

Why did God suddenly not want to see her?

It was in stark contrast to His attitude towards Gallia.

God continued to regularly summon Lucifer as usual.

In the eyes of other angels, this phenomenon indicated that God was increasingly favoring His Highness Lucifer, while Her Highness Gallia seemed no longer as favored as before.

During one of the routine meetings of the Seraphim, Gabriel even asked Gu Shengyin with great concern if she had done something to displease God.

Gu Shengyin was completely bewildered.

She hesitated and said, "...When I last saw God, I, fell asleep, does that count?"

Gabriel: "..."

Indeed, Your Highness Gallia, you truly are impressive.

When they were summoned by the divinities, everyone was internally tense and excited, always maintaining their best demeanor, yet this highness...

Actually fell asleep!

However, Gabriel thought for a moment and felt that with God’s affection for Her Highness Gallia, it shouldn’t be enough to get angry over such a minor issue, right?

She looked helplessly at Gu Shengyin: "I don’t know either, maybe you should think about it more carefully."

After that, Gu Shengyin also tried visiting the Great Cathedral a few times, but each time, she was refused entry by God.

The most frustrating incident was one time when she stood outside watching Lucifer enter the Great Cathedral right before her eyes.

Back in her own palace, Gu Shengyin asked the system in frustration, "Did I do something wrong to make God disdain me?"

The system flickered with bright light, indicating it didn’t know either.

Gu Shengyin continued pondering earnestly when Lucifer came by.

He had evidently just come out of the Great Cathedral, carrying with him a power that was very familiar to Gu Shengyin—the Power of the Holy Spirit.

He looked at Gu Shengyin with obvious concern: "Gallia."

Gu Shengyin saluted him: "Your Highness."

Lucifer looked at her, wanting to say something but hesitating.

He had only vaguely heard that Gallia seemed to not have been summoned recently.

But he never imagined that the situation had become this serious.

Not being summoned by the divinities, and having even requests to meet being refused, are two completely different concepts.

In fact, when Lucifer was leaving, he even proactively said, "God, I think I saw Gallia outside the Great Cathedral."

However, the divinity did not respond to him.

Lucifer felt that the divinity didn’t seem angry or discontent with Gallia, which was quite puzzling.

Gu Shengyin knew what he wanted to ask.

She shook her head with a bitter smile: "I also don’t know what I did to offend God."

The implication was, she did not understand anything either.

She looked at Lucifer and suddenly said, "Your Highness, may I request a leave?"

Lucifer looked at her, puzzled.

Gu Shengyin said: "Since my birth, I have never left Heaven. Could I go for a walk in the human world?"
