Chapter 110: Chapter 110 Hate It

Chapter Song Recommendation; Bad Liar by Selena Gomez

"He seems to really like her."

"You’re right. And that leaves me worried. What if she rats to him about all the things we did to her and he starts to hates us?"

"You made a valid point. But what about Meave? Has he broken up with her to be with Gweneth?"

"I doubt that.

Even if he wants to, his father will not allow it. He and Meave are practically married already. Perhaps he just wants to keep her on the side."

"He and Gweneth really do look great together if you ask me. Better than he and Meave does. It would be great if they can end up together."

Dominic just had to state the last one. I send him a glare.

The fuck?

Suddenly now they are advocating and being supportive of Rex and Gweneth? Bunch of fucking idiots!

I so badly want to cut off those mouths off their face one by one. It is raging at the tip of my tongue to tell them to keep their damn mouths shut. But that would not look good for me considering that I do not want to make obvious how damn much I hate those two being together.

Lucas thinks I must be jealous of them. He has become very stupid and annoying lately. To think that I am jealous of Gweneth and Rex is the most disgustingly stupid thing ever.

I only just hate it.

I get it that he somehow likes her and he asked her out, and now they are dating. But do they have to be everywhere about it and flag it to the whole school? It is so sickening and infuriating to watch. Especially the way she is pouting and acting cute to him right now.

He pinches her on the cheek and she giggles. The sound of her annoying giggles somehow manages to reach my earshot despite me sitting eight foot length apart from them. And further irritating the hell out of me.

She must be doing this deliberately. She fucking is.

Fucking laughing and smiling at everything he is saying. Holding hands with him when they walk around together, and appearing at almost every basketball practice just to rub in the fact that I can’t bully her anymore because she is now dating my friend. Someone whom I quite consider my best friend. I would not have cared to even dislike or feel like a part of my blood is slowly turning venom if it had been someone else.

There are so many fucking girls in this school and outside that are way more attractive than her. Why the fuck does it have to be her?

What am I even doing here right now watching them and getting myself even more pissed?

I have not stepped foot here in ages. I have not even taken a bite of the food because my throat feels too tight to even speak much more swallow. Come to think of it, I left my comfortable school lounge to come sit at this cramped cafeteria and watch those two play PDA.

Fuck it.

How long have I been doing this for? Two. . . Three. . . Five. . . Six. Six days? That is just about the time that they have been dating for!

Fuck, then it is a little understandable for Lucas to think that I am jealous. I have got to change that. Now.

"Are you leaving already? You haven’t even touched your food." Curtis asked with his mouth full of spaghetti when I stand up from the seat. I walk away without saying anything in response because I feel like I might explode if I do.

I go to the living space of the lounge where the others hardly come. Space to clear my head and chest from the anger that had pent-up from back there is the only thing I need right now.

I lit up a cigarette, blowing out the first drag does its best in putting my mind in a relaxing state.

The dose amount of the feeling wasn’t enough when I finished smoking the cigarette. So I pull out another. Another. And another. The cigarettes butts had formed a small pile on the glass ashtray. I did a count to find that I had smoked a total of nine cigarettes. It is the most that I have ever consumed in a single setting. I feel okay now. I really should start to avoid seeing that bitch for the sake of my sanity.

I don’t like how I slip into rage whenever I see her. Just seeing her now sets me off and I don’t fucking really know why. I guess I just really hate her ass.

I lean my head back on the couch’s headrest, closing my eyes. It wasn’t too long after when someone came in. I kept my eyes closed, trying to inevitably prolong the tranquil state I am in. I already know who it is by the footsteps. What does he want? Shouldn’t he be having fun with his new girlfriend and parading themselves around the entire school building?

"I knew I would find you here." He says. "You being here, I’m guessing you needed sometime alone. What’s wrong?" I open my eyes and see Rex sitting on the other armchair opposite me. "Nothing. I’m perfectly fine. Someone like me rarely has a problem." Thinking of how to kill someone does not count as a problem, does it?

"What is it?" I drawl out lazily. "I will soon be leaving for Chicago. The old geezer has been calling for me relentlessly. I’m heading there tonight." He informs. You just came back from Spain and now you are heading for Chicago? I could’ve said that. But I don’t want to prolong the conversation. So I just say in a fake jolly tone, "Have a save travel. And tell the old geezer Hi for me. A punch would be better—If you will." He laughs. I laugh too. That was not much of a joke.

His dad is indeed a geezer.
