Chapter 50: Officially Dreamer’s Peak (2) - White Elven Race

[Divine Domain - Tier 10]

[New Functions: Racial Pond, Weapon Enlightenment Arena, Favorability Meter, Members]

[Racial Pond: A sacred pond nestled within the Domain that allows you to grant all future members new bloodlines or races from across Pantheos.

With this pond you are also able to add a new race into your bloodline once every major rank.]

----

[Weapon Enlightenment Arena: A sub-realm within the Divine Domain where time flows two times faster.

Anyone inside experiences a 100% increase in Weapon Mastery, allowing rapid comprehension and mastery of any weapon or combat art through simulated battles and direct enlightenment.]

----

[Favorability Meter: This function tracks the Favorability of anyone who feels a certain way toward you.

Whether they have personally met you or not, you will always be notified of significant shifts in their feelings toward you.]

----

[Members: You are now allowed to officially add members to Dreamer’s Peak.

This grants them full access to the mountain’s benefits without affecting their personal loyalty.

You can stay up to date with members through a notification system, which lets you know basic things like when they’re in a battle, injured, ranking up, and more.]

----

"This... is ridiculous," Akasha muttered, taking in everything before him and realizing that not only had all the previous functions improved, but they’d done so significantly.

The Divine Domain’s barrier had now reached Tier 10, matching his own rank, and on top of that, it had developed a kind of battle power function that greatly enhanced its utility.

’So, I guess my system, star, and domain are all linked,’ he mused, fully aware that with Yume at the God rank, his own Domain had risen to match.

From what he could tell, reaching God Rank added a +10 boost, which essentially meant his barrier could now protect him almost to the very peak of the universal scale.

Not only that the Domain passively increased Divinity by one thousand rather than one. Which in itself was just too overpowered.

Akasha took a deep breath, pushing the overwhelming information aside for now, and turned his focus to Melvin.

The boy was still disoriented, standing unsteadily on the grass. Akasha stepped forward and placed his hand on top of Melvin’s head.

A status prompt appeared.

[Are you sure you want Melvin Blackwood as a Member?]

Akasha nodded without hesitation.

HUMMMM!

A soft purple light washed over Melvin’s body.

The boy’s eyes widened in shock as every injury, fatigue, and ailment was instantly healed. Even more startling was the sudden surge in his Divinity, which began rising rapidly within him.

"W-What’s happening to me?!" Melvin gasped, looking around frantically.

Akasha ignored him completely.

From the side, Yume gently tugged on Luna’s sleeve.

"Come on Mistress, let’s go build the Treehouse while he’s busy," she said softly. Luna gave a small nod and followed her toward the Golden Apple Tree without another word.

Akasha remained where he was and activated his innate power.

[Seeds of Potential (God)]

Melvin’s status appeared before his eyes once more.

In this moment Akasha could now see every aspect of the boy’s future potential — what could be changed, what could be taken, and what could be altered up to the Above Origin level.

While he couldn’t add entirely new things, but he could reshape existing paths.

"So, I could pretty much choose any variant of... literally anything on his status and push it towards the Above Origin rank?"

Seeing this he simply smiled as the power was downright broken especially if he decided to use it for himself.

That meant he could eventually evolve all his current powers and aspects up to the God rank.

After a moment of consideration, Akasha made his changes.

He replaced Melvin’s current Star with an Above Origin Star — the God Star of Eternal Winters. Then, he elevated the boy’s Human bloodline all the way to Above Origin as well.

Everything else, he left alone.... for the moment.

From this point forward, it was up to Melvin.

Akasha couldn’t really talk to him properly until the boy ranked up.

So, in the meantime, Melvin would have to figure out how to tackle the nine tasks needed to fully awaken the implanted potential on his own.

Still, Akasha didn’t intend to leave him completely helpless.

Before leaving, Akasha placed an apple from the Golden Apple Tree on the ground in front of Melvin along with a small note resting on top of it.

He gave the boy one last glance, then turned and disappeared.

-----

A moment later, Akasha reappeared in front of the Racial Pond.

The moment he appeared before the pool, another status screen showed.

[Choose A New Race. Bloodlines available Above Origin - God Ranked.]

A multitude of Above Origin Races appeared before him, each one shimmering in the mist above the pond like living holograms of possibility.

The list seemed endless, and the longer he watched, the more it felt like new races were being born right before his eyes.

Yet, what immediately caught his attention were the ones he knew best, along with their countless variations.

First came the human offshoots drifting by: Apex Humans, boasting perfect physiques and unrivaled adaptability.

Dark Humans, cloaked in shadows with a natural talent for stealth and a deep connection to the darkness; and Eternal Humans, rapid healing, and they... were essentially immortal.

They could only meet their end through battles or other external forces.

Soon after, an array of Dragon variants emerged.

Stellar Dragons wielding cosmic fire and the power to command the stars, Dark Dragons born from the deepest shadows, Storm Dragons that ruled over lightning and fierce tempests, and countless others.

The list went on and on before his very eyes as he truly couldn’t believe he had such a thing at his grasp.

He saw, Phoenix variants blazing with the flames of rebirth, Angelic bloodlines radiating holy light, Demon races steeped in corruption and domination, and innumerable other mighty races scattered across the vast realm of Pantheos.

Akasha’s eyes narrowed in utter awe as he took it all in, his voice low and filled with genuine wonder.

"Just how... is something like this even possible?" he murmured, the sheer scale of options before him leaving him momentarily speechless.

In that moment, he couldn’t help but genuinely wonder who his mother truly was.

He had avoided the topic ever since being reborn, but after nearly getting struck by lightning just for speaking ill of her, the enormity of her presence became impossible to ignore.

"Tsk, I just hope I’m not getting dragged into some nonsense," he muttered, knowing he wasn’t the type to hold pointless grudges.

Truth be told, he didn’t dislike his mother—not yet, anyway.

That verdict was still pending, entirely dependent on the reason behind her complete absence from his life.

If he decided her explanation wasn’t worth it, he wouldn’t hesitate to bear a grudge against her until the end of time.

"Ah... alright, let’s just pick a race. I’ll deal with it when the time comes," he muttered again, turning his attention back to his search.

----

After some consideration, he finally decided to choose the Elven Race.

The White Elves.

----

[Racial Gods are the living embodiments of the traits and qualities that define their race.]

[White Elven Race (God)]

Traits:

[Absolute Beauty: The beauty of White Elven Gods reaches a conceptual level, and merely seeing them can temporarily cause a loss of will and inspiration.]

[Divine Source: All Elven Gods are born with Divine Sources that regenerate 10 million Divinity every five minutes.]

[Nature’s Friend: All Elven Gods, not just White Elves, can speak to and command all forms of nature, including plants, animals, and elements.]

[Light’s Friend: White Elven Gods are among the closest allies of Light, able to speak to and command it at will.]

----

"Divine Sources..." he muttered, his voice low as the recent events played in his mind.

While he had plenty of uses for it, he had already told both Luna and Yume how troublesome it was to regenerate.

With this pool being permanent, he saw no harm in choosing this race, as it would be a big help to him at the moment.

If he planned to recklessly spam its use, then he’d need regeneration that could keep up with such demands.

Without it, he’d just be holding himself back. With that choice settled, he went with the White Elf race.

He braced himself for the expected wave of pain, muscles tensing as he prepared for the transformation to tear through his body like the others had warned.

But he felt... nothing.

HUMMMMMM!!!!

Instead, the Racial Pond surged with a gentle, radiant light.

Pure white and green blood rose from the water like living mist, washing over him in warm, soothing waves.

It sank into his skin with a pleasant tingling sensation, as if the race and bloodline were not being forced in but rather returning home — unlocking something that had always been waiting inside him.

’What is this feeling?’ he wondered, recognizing it as the same sensation he’d experienced when he first gained his Vampire and Dragon Bloodlines.

That time had been far more painful, yet the feeling was still the same—like he wasn’t obtaining the bloodlines but rather releasing them from within.

’Hmm.... is this because of my race?’ he mused, aware that even Luna knew nothing about his True Race, which remained a mystery even to his own status.

As he reflected inwardly, the process unfolded with an easy, unforced flow, the sensation as comfortable and effortless as sliding into a glove made just for him.

HUMMMM!!!!
