Chapter 247: Meaning of a serpent
"The door screamed, the door f**king screamed like a female!!" Rein said with laughter.
Samael and Theo looked at each other,
"I have been watching him you know for a long time since we entered that contract, I can’t wait to be beside him like you are" he said to Theo.
"You probably won’t be able to, since you are binded by the laws of the abyss" Theo said.
"Well, there was I time I thought I would never get a nice body after I was casted away from Heaven, but look at me today...a fine man... Master Rein made that possible, as far as Master Rein still lives I will always have my hopes up. My time is up, this was a new spell I created that enabled my astral projection to be visible here."
"I see...bye bye, I can’t wait for you to leave my lord and I alone" Theo said.
"I’m glad that he has a loyal subject like you...but make no mistake thinking you will have all his attention..." Samael grinned, "there’s the black dragon, many humans that are powerful enough to bring you down together, a very wise strategist, even a deity and an esteler and lastly the one you’d probably hate to hear, infact the closest person to his heart, the gold dragon too is there" he laughed and disappeared.
"What?!! The gold dragon!! Even here, you still won’t let me shine!!!" Theo said with anger.
Rein looked back as he felt Samael go back into his shadow.
"What are you doing there talking to yourself, let’s go in" he said, "Let’s see what the high security was for"
They entered.
Rein’s mouth dropped as he entered, the blinding light of gold.
"Even Bahamur’s treasure was not as arrayed as all of this..."
Rein started going around, checking all the treasures and items inside the dungeon.
"This sword, look at balance...the sharpness"
"Even the robes, armours, everything seemed to be...legendary items"
"My lord" Theo called out with a tone that made Rein put his guard up.
"What is it?"
"It seems there is a door beyond this room" he said.
Rein recollected himself, "too bad I’m only here for one thing" he said and looked around.
’Indeed in Bahamut’s diary he mentioned that the dwarf did their all to hide it, they even created a special house.for it’
"Shall we br–"
Both Rein and Theo stretched out their hand into the air.
"Hellish rebuke" Theo said.
"Dark magic missile!" Rein said.
As the serpent appeared he was immediately surrounded by a horde of purple flames and black missiles in the air.
"Isn’t this the serpent they were suppose to be dealing with outside?"
Rein stared at the serpent.
"Why does he look like a lost baby..."
[The seven head water serpent has recognized your authority]
[Do you want to name the monster?]
"Eh? Did he come here because he wanted to be named?!"
"I have never met such a being like you...your presence is dignified, grant me a name so I may properly deal with my foes outside" The serpent said.
"Actually does outside are my comrades?..." Rein said immediately.
Theo looked at him, ’He didn’t even hesitate to stand with his people, even if it means losing a strong ally’
The look on the serpent changed, it was clear that he had fell into confusion.
"I can give you a name, but you’ll also promise not to consume humans, you will also right your wrongs with the dwarf and come under my shelter, which means you’ll be following me home" Rein said.
"Isn’t that a heavy price to pay for a name?" He said.
"...it’s not considering how greater your potential itself will grow if I name you" Rein said and continued, "in fact I might have let you off the hook"
"I still have mixed feelings, but I want a name...without a name, I feel like I am no different from a wide beast, it is not dignified enough for me who just gained self consciousness"
"...hey, Theo, are serpent supposed to be like this?" Rein whispered to Theo.
"Well, my lord, in a way they are considered monsters that came out of corrupted wryms...so they have that Hugh and mighty and mighty attitudes wryms have" he replied.
"Don’t you dragons do the same?"
"My lord, don’t compare our ego to the likes of fallen beast"
"So the story about wyrms and wyverns unable to ascend it true?"
"Not exactly but it’s not entirely false either..., shall I break the wall now?"
Rein looked at the serpent, "stick around till I resolve your situation then I’ll grant you a name"
The look on the serpent did not change, however it bowed its head in obedience, the flame and missiles around it disappeared.
Theo stepped forward, and touched the stony wall.
"Cast; identify"
Opposite Rein, behind all the treasures the stony wall there began to open.
"...the repository of multiplication" Rein murmured. As he climbed the treasures and headed to the open door, the serpent silently followed.
As Rein and Theo entered this new room, both of them fell to their feet.

’What the fucking...hell...!’ Rein said in his head, he suddenly felt a chill behind him.
The serpent bared its fangs against him and stabbed him through the back.
"My lord!!" Even though Theo struggled and shouted, he could barely even get up.
Blood splashed out of Rein’s stomach.
"I think this is a chance I’m being rewarded with ...if I can kill and eat a person as dignified as you...I might even become the strongest being ..."
Rein giggled which puzzled the serpent, he drew his hand out and the blood even poured out more.
[Regeneration in progress]
[Regeneration speed has been greatly reduced because of all status nullification]
’...thus Eurekyl of a thing, might be dangerous than even I thought’ he thought to himself, his hand suddenly throbbed.
’Is Dior not affected by it’ he thought and smiled, "Well then, take care of things for me..."
Rein said and stood up, purple aura seeped out of Rein’s arm and filled the air.
"Shit, his too big to be contained in this dungeon" Rein said and quickly grabbed Theo, placed him on his shoulders and went deeper into the dungeon which seemed to be different from the stony walls as it looked like it was built with bricks.
Meanwhile,
As Ariel and the rest approached the cave.

They all looked up and saw as the big purple head of a dragon rose from the crumbling cave, its wings spread into the air as multiple magic circles surround it.
"A dragon that I do not know of..." Ariel said, she looked at Azes.
"I don’t know much about him too, but he does belong to father" he said.
"If master is using it, perhaps he is greatly weakened by this eurekyl of a thing, which I’ve been trying to analysing and copy since but the whole process keeps failing" she blinked and looked around, "the 586445th failure... Cast: Fly" she said and flew straight up.
The others too followed, while some could easily fly, some had to jump.
Multiple magic circles surrounded the serpent and different attack bashed at him endlessly while Doir just kept staring from above.
The serpent was firstly covered by a barrier of his own, Doir seeing this increased the number of multi cast. The magic circles were already like a hundred but they doubled again and different magical attacks of different elements began to pour down on the serpent, and soon his shield began to crack.
Even Ariel could not help but marvel,
"This is crazy, I’ve never seen multicasting on this scale before" she said.
"I can still manage, twenty five" Azes said, "Isn’t that dragon overpowered...I mean are dragons supposed to even be built like that..." Azes said.
Doir structure was different, not so different though, but his colour which consisted of a mixture and black and purple, his large one which elongated towards the back and is colored red, his large wings with red horns protruding out of each end, and a spike of horns from its forehead to the tail making it impossible to ride.

Rein shook with anger and grief with what he saw upon discovering the reason why the Anti-dragon magic was so strong in that area.
