Chapter 651: The Second Child Is Coming
With just one glance, Gu Yuan knew exactly what he misunderstood.
She immediately explained, "I ate a bit too much tonight, my stomach feels a bit uncomfortable, it’s nothing to do with you."

Upon hearing her mom’s voice, Suisui didn’t open her eyes, just pouted, stretched lazily, and burrowed back into the bed to continue sleeping.

Still no response.
"Suisui?"
Still didn’t wake up.
"Suisui, it’s time to get up, get dressed, wash your face, brush your teeth, and eat breakfast, then Mama will take you to kindergarten."
Suisui raised her hand to rub her sleepy eyes.
Slowly opened her eyes, and upon seeing Gu Yuan, she climbed up using Gu Yuan’s arm for support, snuggled into Gu Yuan’s embrace, and with a soft voice, said to her, "Mama, good morning~"
Gu Yuan lifted her hand to gently ruffle her daughter’s hair, making it messier with a couple of strokes.
Another stroke, and the hair fell back down smoothly.
Just as she was about to pick Suisui up, Chi Yu appeared out of nowhere, took her daughter over, squeezed her into his arms, hugged her, and took a deep inhale as if this reassured him.
Suisui, with her unruly hair and sleepy eyes, looked puzzled: ???
Wasn’t she supposed to be cuddled?
Gu Yuan asked him why he was up too, even though she left when he was in deep sleep. Chi Yu said, "I woke up as soon as you left the bedroom."
"Why wake up so early?" she asked.
He replied, "What about you, why are you up so early then?"
Gu Yuan’s reason was legit, "Suisui needs to go to kindergarten, and I have to get up early to help her dress and wash up."
Previously, when attending an early education class, there was no need to wake up so early; Suisui could sleep until naturally awoken, and her nanny would dress and wash her, then take her to the early education center, while Gu Yuan would already be in meetings at the company.
Now, with kindergarten starting, Gu Yuan thought she might as well take this opportunity to be a bit more hands-on if possible.
Chi Yu, however, said, "But I’m still her dad, shouldn’t these things be my responsibility?"
