From the moment I recognized that Xaiden was activating a talent, I instantly understood that everything I had planned for his development needed to be tossed out the window, and that was why I sent Xilia to fetch Vincent.

I could no longer leave the child in the hands of his birth mother, but even my initial plan needed to be reworked from the ground up, thanks to the five conclusions I had drawn.

By placing Xaiden in charge of Vincent, whom I had complete control over, I would be able to keep my Son in a controlled environment until he was old enough to learn how to control his powers.

Psy-Kinesis alone was more than enough to cause concern. Still, with the amber color of his right eye, I knew he also had my subtalent as well.

Hell, I hadn’t even had time to work out a plausible reason for both eyes glowing in a different color, Left Icy-Blue and Right Amber; that in itself was an anomaly since when I use my Talents, both of my eyes flash in the corresponding color, its never once been split between them, even when I utilize both talents simultaneously.

’My Son, listen to me. You need to relax your mind, and although I don’t know how you are keeping both of your abilities active, you need to release them.’

I had no way of knowing how deep Xaiden’s understanding of things went. Still, I was hoping that so long as I was straightforward and didn’t use mature words, he would be able to follow through, but that soon proved not to work, so just like I had before, when I showed him a mental image of holding my finger, I sent him a new one.

Along with this mental image, I attached the sensations I experienced when releasing a talent skill, which, by the way, was extremely difficult to put to thought considering activating and deactivating my talents came second nature to me.

Still, I did the best I could by sending images and sensations that go along with slowing my breathing, calming my heart rate, and releasing my particles so they would freely circulate in my body. And luckily, it was enough because, after a few seconds of comprehension, I watched the glowing blue and amber eyes fade into a pair of deep sapphire.

’You did well,’ giving Xaiden a faint smile, I continued trickling particles through his hand at an extremely slow rate, but when the child scrunched up his face and smacked his lips a few times, I remembered that he wasn’t just an anomaly born of my genes, but also a hungry newborn.

’No need to use your Talent, I understand,’ quickly sending over the thought, I calmly set about cleaning my child as the nurses should have done and wrapped him in a blanket before carrying him over to Sadie.

However, the second I got close to her, Xaiden began squirming and kicking his bound legs, a sign that he wanted nothing to do with the woman who had given birth to him, a sentiment I could understand perfectly.

’Calm yourself, little one; she can never hurt you so long as I live; however, she has what you require.’

"You…get away…from, me…monster, both of you are monsters…" Sadie, still beaten up from giving birth and struggling to sit up weakly, cried as she looked at us with a horrified expression.

"Silence, goodbye, Sadie; I can’t say I will miss you because from the beginning, you were nothing more than a ghost from my past," With that, I reached forward and caught the girl by the face with such quickness that her brain never registered my movement, and then…

’Watch carefully, my son, for this is what you will one day be able to do with your power,’ I activated my Talent, and slammed an astronomical amount of particles into Sadie’s brain, lobotomizing her instantly and wiping out her consciousness in a single push.

For all intents and purposes, Sadie was no more, and all she was now was a living body, which was perfect for what I had planned for her moving forward.

’She is gone; all that remains is a resource for your growth, young Xaiden; there is nothing to fear.’ I said without remorse over the fact that I had erased Sadie from existence and even turned it into a learning experience for my Son.

Then, since there was nothing in Sadie’s mind, I went ahead and built a chain of commands, turning her into a literal meat puppet, one that was incapable of going against my words, acting on its own, or even thinking.

After programming the puppet so that it was only capable of basic functions, I planted the information required to breastfeed and physically care for a child into the blank mind and deactivated my Psy-Kinesis.

’Now drink. Your body needs nourishment, and until you are able to eat solid foods, this husk will have to suffice for now.’ Cradling Xaiden in my left arm, I dropped my hand from Sadie’s face and ripped off the hospital gown covering her chest, exposing her breasts.

Carefully and gently, I extended Xaiden to the Sadie Puppet and commanded it to take him and feed him.

Just as I had programmed, and with zero expression or intelligence of her own, Sadie took Xaiden tenderly in one arm and placed him against her right breast before using her hand to lift the nipple to his mouth.

’Drink till your stomach is full, my Son. It’s a normal part of life, and if you wish to grow strong, you will require this for now.’

Knock knock knock

No sooner did I finish the thought to Xaiden than three soft knocks on the door drew my attention, and through my perception, I knew who was waiting on the other side.

’You may enter,’

"Milord, it is good to see you again," the second I spoke the words, the door swung open, and Vincent rushed in and kneeled before me as a sign of respect.

"Vincent, I assume you’ve been filled in on what is to be expected of you?" I stated in a firm tone without tearing my eyes away from my Son as he ruefully latched onto Sadie’s nipple and began feeding off her milk.

"As much as the Mistress could Milord, you wish for me to give up my life and become the new caretaker of the new Young Master."
