Generating Resources was bound to be the most difficult project I had when it came to the Academies, and as such, it was by far the part I had put the most effort and brain power into.
Having spent years buying up what I could from third parties thanks to the Exchange, I was, for the most part, tapped into the economy of the Towers. Still, even that wasn’t nearly enough to sustain all of the 25 academies; what I had sold the government would be practically depleted by the end of the third semester.
So when I sat down and began figuring out how to generate a localized economy, many ideas came to mind, the first of which was throwing the students into low-rank Instances, but that proved to be an even larger headache than expected.
Through my testing, I learned that the instance tokens we could buy from Arkadia worked for anyone, as proven by Vincent using one. Still, the issue then became that he didn’t gain access to the System and was basically unable to level up, making it totally useless for him.
So, that idea was thrown to the side and died before ever leaving the thought table.
The next idea I had was just throwing students into the tower, but that would only result in mass casualties, completely overriding the purpose of the academies, and that led me to my final choice.
Something I called False Instances, or what I officially named them as, Dungeons.
That’s right; why not add in another trope while im at it?
Basically, using my talent, I created a massive system of tunnels under each Academy, laced them with Particle stones, and made an EXTREMELY WEAK environment where Monsters could spawn.
Was it difficult, 100%? Was it a pain in the ass, FOR SURE? Did it work as planned? Not in the slightest, there was still a massive issue, and that was giving the students access to Arkadia, which at the moment the only present method of doing so was for them to step foot in the tower…unless…
Unless you had completely memorized the Runic Inscription used to manifest the Towers and, as such, knew the precise coding requirements for promoting Normies to Players.
Mind you, even with my knowledge and abilities, it was a flawed idea from the beginning, yet I was able to pull it off with only a single true issue.
Upon stepping foot into my Dungeons, anyone without access to Arkadia would be given temporary access so long as they were within the False Instance. Even then, the maximum you would be able to reach was the Peak of Non-Rank; essentially, you could only gain the first few levels and wouldn’t be able to Rank up To Alpha. Still, it was more than enough for what I required… a training space for newbies that could generate minor resources that could be traded or sold to the schools.
It took many sleepless nights, months, in fact, and a whole lot of trial and error. Still, in the end, I was able to script out something that was deemed acceptable by Arkadia, and from there, my next task was forming all of these dungeons, a process that took more time and resources than I am proud to admit.
Funny enough, each of the Dungeons turned out vastly different from one another, spawning a wide range of weak ass monsters that could be beaten given the newbies weren’t brain-dead idiots.
By the time they were able to clear the Dungeons fully, they would be ready to enter the tower.
Was it a perfect system? By no means, but it was effective, to say the least, considering I could sell passes to the dungeon and have Players or Returners watching over them so they didn’t die.
Plus, each Academy had state-of-the-art Returner Level Medical Facilities, so basically, any injury could be fixed, and at some point, treatment would stop being free. Still, even that was a self-contained thing because I had established alchemy and potion-making classes so that students would constantly refill the inventory.
With that said, this brings me to the next massive expenditure for each Academy: the welcoming package each student would receive.
As I have explained in the past, all new students would be given a certain amount of resources upon enrollment, one of which was, of course, a Particle Aclimation Potion.
As the Academy would be sitting above a mass of particle radiation generators, prolonged exposure could and most likely would be detrimental to anyone on campus; thus, it was necessary to put an Acclimation Potion in everyone’s hands.
Sure, some people would still fall ill from time to time, but the medical staff, all of whom were trained by Piniki and had healing talents of their own, would be able to handle such things with ease.
Up next were the dorms, which is where the Ranking Boards came into play. With several Tiers of rooms available, everyone would start out in 6-person dorm rooms, sharing the space with their peers, with the top 10 in each Board getting a Suite dorm room where they could live alone.
It was all part of the incentive program I had crafted to breed competition and drive among the students so that they would show their full potential.

Earning more points and doing better in classes- hell, there was even a fighting arena that had its ranking board and thus set of solo rooms. Although only the top 3 could get a special dorm, it was still a possibility.
Overall, the Academies were a world of their own, and that led me to the final piece, the inter-academy Competitions. The winner would earn not only glory for their team since it would be televised but also a large chunk of personal resources for themselves.
I had done it all; everything I could possibly cram into these Academies was modified and set in place, and tomorrow, the doors would be opened, and the show would begin.
