{Q2-C Note: Due to having completed the quest LONG Before the goal of 3000 Earthlings returning to the past, a special reward has been determined.}
{Q2-C Reward: 1x Random Talent Token *Restrictions Apply*.}
Of the three sets of rewards I had earned, the only NORMAL one was those from Quest 2-A. Coins are fine, but when it comes to potions and instance tokens, while nice to have, they are not a necessity at this point.
However, starting with my rewards from Quest 2-B, the ringing in my ears made itself known, not for the particle or enlightenment stones. No, those were on my list of potential reward items, but instead, for the Extremely Rare Training Room Modification.
From its name, anyone not in the know would shrug it off and probably consider it as a set of workout equipment, maybe some fantasy-style training robots to fight, but no, it was WAY cooler than that.
At a glance, when someone received one of these items, they would only consider it to be some strange, old sheet of paper, but it was sooo much more than that.
Just like with how one needs to shatter a token to enter an Instance, this item was similar, only when you tore the paper, you could designate a location to be transformed into a special pocket space, essentially turning a bedroom, or hell, even closet into a tailor-made Instance, minus the monsters or shitty environment.
This room would then be linked to the owner’s System Panel, where you could build the desired layout of the room. Since this one was of the Alpha-Rank, that meant I could form a 100x100 square foot space.
With each increase in rank, the size of the room grew by a factor of ten, and the best part was they were upgradable. Mind you, it was EXTREMELY expensive to do so, but the option existed for those with more money than they could conceivably burn.
That wasn’t all either; upon setting it up, depending on what Rank the room held, it was flooded with corresponding Particles, bringing its Ambient Particle content to that of a ++ Instance, essentially making it the perfect training environment for Circulation skills, especially mine…in short this item was simply legendary.
They were so rare and valuable that there wasn’t a single Organization in the Origin Timeline that didn’t fight for or own one; they were just THAT important to growing powerful Rankers.
And by sheer dumb luck and a tad bit of not-so-hard work, one of these legendary items had found its way into my loot goblin hands.
Hell, ignoring the third Reward, The Training Room Modification Scroll, was MORE than enough of a reward to make me go completely bonkers. Still, it was that final reward that made me dizzy and feel like throwing up as if I had devoured too much candy in a single sitting.
Random Talent Token, the three words played in a loop in my head, and I read them over and over, burning the image of the letters into my brain while trying to comprehend the meaning they represent.
To my knowledge, there wasn’t a single human on Earth who had more than one Talent; sure, some of the Myriad races had special Racial Traits that gave them an extra talent or two, depending on their Classification, but those who did generally ended up with significantly weaker talents thanks to having to nurture more than one.
Still, as far as I knew, having Two Talents… wasn’t something achievable by Humankind.
Even I, who was a 6C being, didn’t magically grow a second Talent, yet in a flash of light, resting in the palms of my cupped hands, was a small, wooden token with the letter "T" intricately carved on its surface that would do the very thing I thought to be impossible.
All I had to do was apply a little pressure, and I could potentially become the first Human to obtain a second talent. The urge to instantly crush the token and spin the wheel of destiny to get my new Talent was overbearing, to say the least; luckily, my rational brain chose to wake up and stop myself from doing something as stupid as not learning all the details first.
For all I know, this little guy could reroll or overwrite my Psy-Kinesis, and if that were the case, I’d be absolutely furious. While I had been panting heavily like a dog on a sunny Florida summer day, my rational brain was active, diverting my attention to the key phrase after the item’s name.
"Restrictions Apply," which could mean just about anything, from having fine print to severely limiting the growth potential of the Talent; I needed to know more before deciding to toss this little token in my inventory forever or smash it for myself.
"Arkadia, list all the applicable restrictions that apply to the Random Talent Token." The command flowed seamlessly out of my mouth, triggering an instant response from the system as if it had been waiting for me to ask ever since I earned the Talent Token.
{The Random Talent Token is a unique and limited item that allows the one who crushes it to obtain a second Talent. This new Talent will not interfere with the person’s present Talent, nor will it overwrite it.}

{Upon smashing the Token, Every Talent in existence and ever known will be added to a pool of potential selections, and one will be randomly selected.}
{The Talent will have the same potential as your Original Talent and will Start at the Non-Rank Stage, just like every other newly generated Talent.}
{However, unlike Regular Talents, which can have multiple skills that can grow and be unlocked, you will be given a choice of up to 4 basic skills, of which your choice will be the ONLY skill you will EVER be able to use with the new Talent.}
{You will never be able to unlock or learn a Second Skill for the New Talent, so make sure to keep that thought in mind while making your decision.}
