ROARRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!
Without giving me a proper vocalized answer to my question, the Wyrm began letting loose an ear-shattering roar in provocation to my words before standing up using its wingless front appendages to brace its massive weight, then, with glowing brown eyes, activated one of its skills.

"Well, guess that answers my question," unafraid or dissuaded by the Wyrmâs attack, I lazily lept side to side, avoiding the massive rock spikes exploding forth from below wherever I ended up standing longer than a second.
âTerra Spikes, as the second most energy-consuming attack in its roster, I shouldnât have to worry about a breath attack any time soon.â I thought as I effortlessly weaved in and out of the truck-sized spikes without getting so much as a spec of dirt on my body.
âThe fact that it understood what I said is both a good and a bad sign, as it means the beastâs Intellect stat is above 10 points, the symbolic threshold I need to overcome to use my Talent.â
I wasnât wrong in my assessment either; the basic judgment when it came to monsters is no matter their size if their Intellect stat was under a certain numerical value, they would solely rely on instincts, and since certain stats were weighted differently when compared to say humans, an Intellect Stat of 10 was similar to a 0.5 or that of a small childâŠwhat I was supposed to be.
In comparison, if a monster had obtained the ability to speak, even in broken language, it was a sign their Intellect stat was over 50 points, and with each increment of 10 points, they would become more fluid in speaking.
For example, in the Instance, I eventually died in, I had come across several undead monsters who spoke in very elegant and well-mannered words, a sign that their Intellect stat was Well over 200 points.
Thus, the fact that the Wyrm, who was presently throwing what amounted to a temper tantrum, was grunting, growling, and roaring instead of speaking in what could be considered "Baby Talk" was a good sign because it was an indicator that it had under 50 Points in its Intellect Stat.
Meanwhile, it could understand my words enough to get pissed off, which was indicative of a numerical value over 15.
âBetween 15 and 50 points, no, letâs raise the bottom line to 20 because its overreaction is a sign of true intelligenceâŠalright, letâs give my talent a shot with something basic and non-intrusive.â Keeping on the move, I locked eyes with the fearsome reptilian monster and smirked slightly.
âPsy-Kinesis,â
âJump,â The single word was short, sweet, and to the point; however, that single word drew 10 PC from my storage, giving me a hint at how annoyingly draining it would be on my Particle reserves to distract the Wyrm continuously.
Two seconds ticked by without any reaction from the Wyrm, yet I never broke eye contact. Sometimes, with these dumber monsters, it would take a moment for their tiny brains to register my command, and sure enough, after two more seconds had transpired, I watched as the bulky false dragon hopped slightly off the ground, barely clearing a foot in the air before landing with a loud thud.
âAlllllrighty, first test complete, on to the true test,â With my eyes still glowing in a faint blue light, I ran to the left of the very confused Wyrm, watching as it stared at me with a "What the fuck just happened" expression, or at least thatâs how I took it before spouting off my second command.
âLaunch two Terra-Bullets at the far side wall,â
FWOOSH BOOM BOOM
Like with the first "Jump" command, my eight words took a second to work their way through the mind of the big lug, but when I saw a pair of pointy rocks launching from the space in front of the Wyrm, I finally had the answer to how high itâs intellect stat was.
Breaking eye contact with the Wyrm, my eyes flicked to the passage to the cavern I had entered from, and there I spotted two clouds of dust.
Although the monster had indeed fired off two attacks as I had told it to, it didnât listen, and instead of hitting the far wall of the room as I had said, it attacked the entrance.
âEh, annoying, roughly 24 points in Intellect, give or take a point. If it were 26, It would have only fired one bullet instead of the two. Since it didnât get the direction correct, itâs over 20 points, and it looks like complicated commands are out of the picture. Since itâs TECHNICALLY part of the Dragonic bloodline, the bastard will be too prideful to off itself on my command.â
As if it had heard my thoughts, no sooner had I come to a stop before a rain of Terra-Bullets stormed my direction.
"Oi, watch where youâre throwing those things, you idiot!" Taunting the monster to infuriate it further, I dashed around the open-spaced cavern like a cat with its tail on fire, jumping, ducking, dodging anything that came my way, and all while only relying on my physical stats.
Since I couldnât use my Talent to force complicated commands on the monster, the best I could do was create an opening for myself to attack, and that was precisely what I planned on doing; the only problem wasâŠif I could actually hurt it.
Although my Meta-Physical Stat was maxed out, and my Intellect was technically higher than the Wyrm, the fact that it was able to shake off my Coersion so quickly was a bad sign, as it meant it had a higher Meta-Physical Defence stat when compared to my Offensive.
âPick a target and strike,â I thought as I closed the distance between myself and the Wyrm.
âNOW!â waiting for the final piece to fall into place, my eyes locked with the Wyrmâs, and I rushed forward.
"HALT!" Embuing my words with 25 PC, I shouted suddenly, not only startling the monster but causing it to freeze in place as if someone had smacked it in the back of the head to stun it.
"LOOK UP!" Standing only a few feet away from the Wyrm, I shouted up at it while channeling my PC to Augment my legs and weapons.
