Chapter 424: FATHER’S DAY SPECIAL 7: Your Mother Warned you About Playing with Space
It was beautiful, really: a tiny sphere of absolute darkness that seemed to drink in the light around it, bending reality to its will.
The air around it shimmered with heat and distortion, and I could feel the weight of its created gravity pulling at my fingers.
"Of course, I’m sure!" I nudged her a bit, a playful shove that was meant to reassure her, but I felt her tremble from the way I almost lost control of it.
The black hole wobbled for a moment, its edges flickering dangerously, before I steadied it with a focused thought. "I have it under control... I think."
This was a very dangerous ability I had inherited from the bastard.
It’s one of the many gifts he had passed on to his children, though not all of us had received the same powers.
It allows me to collapse, form, compress, repel, and annihilate space itself.
I can bend the very fabric of reality to my will, shaping it like clay in the hands of a potter.
Although much of its abilities are sealed to me due to the danger it could pose to the world; the last thing anyone needs is a child accidentally tearing a hole in the universe.
But this one I can manage. This one I have practiced and perfected.
I just have to compress the space around my palm so much it begins to bend light itself, creating a gravitational field so intense that even photons cannot escape its pull.
Then I wrap it with a barrier so it does not affect everything at once — a containment field that keeps the black hole stable and prevents it from expanding beyond my control.

It is delicate work, requiring constant concentration and precise manipulation of energy. One slip and everything within a mile radius could be destroyed in an unfortunate oops.
But even with such a small black hole, if I remove the barrier on it, it could cause widespread damage and loss of lives. It is not a toy.
I toss the rampant energy straight at the beast, a flick of my wrist that sends the miniature black hole hurtling through the air with blinding speed.
It flew speedily toward the Colossal Longneck and seamlessly bursted through its ribs and hit the ground, carving a perfectly round hole through the creature’s torso as if it were made of wet paper rather than diamond-hard flesh.
The beast let out a deafening roar of pain, its massive body shuddering from the impact.
I then collapsed everything within the barrier I had set around it but it exploded the ground, further wounding and shattering the bones of the monster.
The earth beneath it erupted in a shower of dirt and rock, and the creature’s legs buckled as the blast wave tore through its body.
It was a devastating attack, the kind that would have killed any ordinary beast instantly.
Perfect.
It treated one of the hardest things in the world like wet butter.
The Colossal Longneck’s legendary durability had meant nothing against the power of compressed space.
The beast was still alive, however. Barely, its massive form trembling and groaning in agony, but still breathing.
So Kynos blasted towards it without hesitation, her small body moving with the grace and speed of a seasoned warrior.

She ran on thin air, her bare feet finding purchase on nothing, and hopped around in a darting manner that made her nearly impossible to track.
She reached around the top of the creature, her slim curved sword held in a two-handed grip, and crouched in mid-air for a moment, positioning herself for the perfect strike.
Then she burst down on the single weak point of the beast: its eye.
The force of her descent sent the head down to the ground in a shattering mess, the massive skull crashing into the earth with a thunderous impact that shook the surrounding area.
The beast’s body went still, finally and completely dead.
Even if the eyes were not the weakness, Kynos’s Eye of Purity can make wherever she hits automatically a weak point.
It is one of the most broken abilities in existence: the power to declare any target vulnerable, regardless of its natural defenses.
And the Eye of Darkness has an eroding effect that makes her strikes automatically deadly to contact, corroding flesh, bone, and spirit with equal ease.
Together, her heterochromic eyes make her one of the most deadly individuals in our family.
I flew over to the beast and tore open a perfectly round hole in space, a portal that led directly to Shishi-no-su. It’s more of their specialty to chop up meat.
The edges of the portal shimmered with a faint violet light, and it was completely dark.
"Your mother warned you about playing with space like that," Kynos said as she put the sword back into her space storage, the blade disappearing with a soft shimmer.
"She will not know if you do not tell her," I shrugged, my voice carrying a note of casual defiance.

I reached down, held the immensely large creature with a firm grip, then tossed it into the wide, circular, dark hole.
The beast’s massive body disappeared into the portal with a soft whoosh, leaving only emptiness behind.
I had called Barak to tell him something was coming, but I doubt he expects something this big.
It was a brief mental message, a quick warning that a delivery was on its way, but I had not provided any details.
He was probably expecting a small monster or a boar, something manageable.
I will apologize for the damages it will cause later. There was no point worrying about it now.

"Hm? You are sending the little monster you caught? Sure." Barak nodded, his voice casual and unconcerned.
He had been lounging in his chambers, relaxing after a long day, when the communication had come through.
But his face paled when he saw the size of the portal, and the large beast that dropped to the ground on Shishi-no-su.
His pink fox ears twitched as irritation sparked in his blue eyes, and his expression shifted from casual indifference to barely contained fury.
"That arrogant brat! What part of this is a little monster?!" He shouted, his voice carrying across the clearing. "That thing is the size of a building! It is going to crush everything! Guys, call Uncle Ren! I do not think we can cut this flesh in time for father’s arrival!"
