Chapter 1348: Chapter 1363: Making a Fool of Oneself
A dozen minutes later, Gao Ji had already polished off more than half the table’s beer bottles, double Lin Mu’s amount, which surprised Lin Mu—who would have thought this idiot could drink so much? But no matter how much one can drink, this kind of chugging isn’t sustainable.
Sure enough, Gao Ji, holding that last bottle of beer, furrowed his brow, burped, and looked reluctantly at the beer in his hand with an expression as if he was being forced to drink urine.
After hesitating for a long time, Gao Ji grit his teeth and drank it with determination. Tragedy struck, though—after just a small sip, he couldn’t hold it anymore and vomited it all out.
It was clear that even if Gao Ji had a big stomach and good tolerance, he couldn’t drink a half-barrel of beer. There was no chance for his stomach to digest and absorb with this constant downing bottle after bottle!
Meanwhile, Lin Mu’s expression was calm; he chatted with Haihua and sipped his beer—not too fast, but had already drunk half as much as Gao Ji. The key was Lin Mu’s demeanor, effortlessly relaxed, in stark contrast to Gao Ji’s—it’s simply the difference between genius and stupidity!
"Honey, will he be okay?" Haihua pointed to Gao Ji, who was swaying and said to Lin Mu.
"Haha, I think it’s a bit risky—do you know why he insists on standing?" Lin Mu said.
"Why?" Haihua asked curiously.
"Because he’s in a dilemma. If he sits down, he’ll start spewing both top and bottom, everything will empty out!" Lin Mu laughed heartily.
"Uh..." This guy’s really miserable—and he brought it on himself. Haihua felt a little sympathy but decided it didn’t concern her. Better to ignore.

According to earlier rules, drinking beer without restroom breaks was the biggest challenge. Anyone with some drinking capacity wouldn’t get drunk from beer, but denying bathroom breaks was unbearable.
Seeing Gao Ji’s pained expression, combined with his aggressive drinking, not only drunkenness but also discomfort from holding it in was evident.
Seeing Gao Ji couldn’t continue, Lin Mu counted the bottles Gao Ji had drunk, then counted his own—a difference of ten bottles.
Lin Mu didn’t dawdle; he got up and picked up the remaining bottles on the table and started drinking—basically downing a bottle in one go.
Now, everyone was almost dumbfounded, watching Lin Mu perform this beer-drinking art!
Of course, in a sense, men chugging beer is a display of beauty—like the majesty of ancient generals in war!
After finishing one bottle after another, Lin Mu picked up another and smiled at Gao Ji in disbelief, "Once I finish this, I’ll surpass you. Want to have another go?"
Gao Ji looked at the beer on the table, just glancing at it made him want to puke; his throat convulsed as he endured the churning pain in his belly. Even forcing it down now wouldn’t work!
The key issue was that Gao Ji suddenly felt an urgent need to urinate, his belly a bursting balloon—desperate to rush to the bathroom, straddle the banks of the Yellow River, hold confidential files, and release it all in one mighty sweep—what delight, what relaxation...
Alas, he knew the bet’s rules—if he left the room, he’d lose as the mighty prince!
Bitterly, even if he endured the urge to pee, he unexpectedly was quickly overtaken by Lin Mu; standing pat, if he couldn’t relieve himself, he’d still lose!
In that thought, Gao Ji could no longer withstand the stomach torment. With a swish, a stout figure darted out the door—it was none other than Gao Ji the grand prince—admitting defeat at last!
No longer able to stand it for even a minute—since he couldn’t drink, standing stupidly was more painful; rushing to the restroom was paramount!
"Haha, that idiot’s really funny!" Lin Mu laughed at Gao Ji running out clutching his waist, estimating that before Gao Ji reached the restroom, thunderstorm-like tumult beneath would sound, surely granting this guy’s never to return to Handan Street’s mix—too damn embarrassing!
"Honey, will he be okay?" Haihua asked.
"He’s fine now; it’s better now that the pressure’s relieved—otherwise holding on would cause some issue." Lin Mu smiled.
"Hmph, he deserves it, trying to show off for no reason." Haihua said.
"Though I have to admit, the kid can drink, but too arrogant—outcomes of people like that tend to be unfavorable." Lin Mu chuckled.
After a while, Gao Ji walked back into the private room, looking completely exhausted.
His friends came forward and helped him to the couch; gone was the original arrogance, replaced by a pale face.
Lin Mu smiled at him, "So? Still want to compete?"
Gao Ji glanced at Lin Mu; he had no spirit left to provoke, feeling miserable and nearly wetting himself left no fighting spirit.
"No more; this time you win." Gao Ji said weakly to Lin Mu; Lin Mu’s drinking capacity indeed exceeded his expectations—never did he book someone who could drink this much, those previous drinks had pushed Gao Ji to his limit.

"Alright, since there’s nothing more, you guys enjoy; we’re thinking of heading out." Lin Mu smiled slightly, standing to speak.
"You’re not allowed to leave." Gao Ji perked up, hearing Lin Mu’s words and quickly stood.
"What’s up? Anything else?" Lin Mu turned to look at Gao Ji, thinking little lesson would teach him to have self-awareness—who knew he wouldn’t concede defeat and insist on contest?";
"I want a duel with you," Gao Ji said to Lin Mu.
"A duel with me? You drank too much?" Lin Mu asked amused.
"I’m drunk, but I want a duel!" Gao Ji stood up confidently, "Do you dare?"
Lin Mu shrugged, "Why wouldn’t I?"
"Okay, let’s duel here—if you beat me, you can leave—if you lose, you’re my little brother!" Gao Ji pointed at Lin Mu, seemingly ready to crush him.
"Wait, this isn’t fair—why should I be your little brother if you win, but if I win, I can only leave? Your meaning is that now I can’t leave, you won’t let me?" Lin Mu said to Gao Ji.
Gao Ji heard Lin Mu’s words and realized the issue—not Lin Mu, but Haihua’s presence. This made him look petty—oppressing the weak; if Lin Mu knew Gao Ji’s thoughts, he’d laugh, "Brother, you’re thinking too much."
