Chapter 1210: Chapter 1225: Settled in a Few Words

"Alright, since you painted such a pitiable picture, I’ll be soft-hearted for once and spare you from this dispute. Guys, take him away!" Lin Mu waved his hand, and two security guards took the thug away.

As for how to deal with this thug, it’s simple — however much he ate, he has to cough up that same amount. As for Wancheng Hospital, Lin Mu won’t let this slide so easily. Lin Mu’s approach is simple: ’You don’t mess with me, I don’t mess with you. If someone messes with me, I will destroy them!’ As the Wolf Fang Soldier King from the North African Grassland, he’s always been the one causing trouble for others, never the other way around. Well, if Gao Jinsong wants to play, then I’ll play big! I’ll play him to death!

"Brother Lin, what are you planning to do?" Luo Aimiao asked as she looked at Lin Mu.

"Simple, have a chat with this Gao Jinsong. He’s dared to shit on my head, if I don’t make him remember this, it’s letting him off easy." Lin Mu said with a chuckle.

"Then I’ll go with you, anyway, I have nothing else to do now." Luo Aimiao suggested.

Lin Mu thought for a moment and didn’t mind. Having Luo Aimiao, the Chief Police Officer, along would keep things lively.

"Let’s go then."

Lin Mu said, then wrapped his arm around Luo Aimiao’s shoulder and went downstairs. Lin Mu drove to Wancheng Hospital, which was not far from Flying Dragon Hospital — just a ten-minute drive. The two entered Wancheng Hospital and found it truly desolate inside. Originally bustling with cars, the place was now empty, with no patients to be seen, lacking even the semblance of a major hospital.

Getting out of the car, Lin Mu headed straight for the dean’s office and knocked on the door casually.

"Who is it?" Someone inside the office responded.

"I’m Lin Mu!" Lin Mu smiled and then pushed the door open to walk in.

Gao Jinsong saw Lin Mu walking in and gave him a fierce glare, looking very unfriendly, "You’re Lin Mu?"

"Yes, I am." Lin Mu said, then sat down on the sofa with Luo Aimiao, not making any polite gestures, as if he were at home.

"Why are you here?" Gao Jinsong’s tone was quite cold.

"What do you think?" Lin Mu replied with a grin.

"Why are you here? How should I know?" Gao Jinsong glared at Lin Mu as he spoke.

"Don’t know? Fine, I’ll get straight to the point — you sent that person to the hospital, right?" Lin Mu asked with a laugh.

"What person? I’m not clear on this?" At a time like this, Gao Jinsong obviously couldn’t admit it.

"Not clear? Okay." Lin Mu smiled, then stood up and glanced at Luo Aimiao, "Ah Miao, I think we should just leave."

Luo Aimiao was puzzled; they’d just exchanged a few words and were about to leave.

Of course, Luo Aimiao didn’t ask anything, she got up and followed Lin Mu out.

"Hold on."

Just as Lin Mu was about to leave the room, Gao Jinsong called out to him.

"Hehe, Dean Gao, is there anything else?" Lin Mu turned with a cheerful smile and asked.

"Yes, that person was sent by me." Gao Jinsong suddenly confessed while looking at Lin Mu.

This made Luo Aimiao even more puzzled — why did Gao Jinsong confess just as Lin Mu was about to leave?

This was really perplexing.

Lin Mu smiled, then turned back, and sat on the sofa again, "Dean Gao, we don’t have any grudges, do we?"

Gao Jinsong nodded, "Yes, no grudges."

"Then fine, but using such underhanded tactics is a bit against the rules, right?" Lin Mu sneered.

"It is indeed against the rules." Gao Jinsong acknowledged.

"Since that’s the case, what do you plan to do?" Lin Mu asked.

Gao Jinsong seemed to have become much more honest, looking at Lin Mu as he replied, "What do you have in mind?"

"Seeing your hospital isn’t doing well, while mine is overwhelmingly busy, why not let me acquire your hospital and lend you a hand?" Lin Mu casually described the proposal.

Luo Aimiao, listening alongside, was nearly dizzy — acquiring a major hospital just like that? Lin Mu sure does take himself seriously!

Gao Jinsong glanced at Lin Mu and sighed, "Fine, I agree. This hospital can’t be run anymore anyway."

"Alright then, no more nonsense; I’ll offer you a satisfactory price and will have someone contact you later to discuss." Lin Mu said, then wrapped his arm around Luo Aimiao as they left the room.

Luo Aimiao still felt confused; it hadn’t been five minutes and Wancheng Hospital was already under Lin Mu’s name! You tell me how incredible this beast is; no wonder he’s so arrogant usually! Turns out he has the solid backing for his arrogance! Lin Mu’s tactics were truly baffling.

"Hey, why did Gao Jinsong suddenly listen to you just now?" Luo Aimiao asked, puzzled.

"Because I’m charming, elegant, and exceptionally outstanding!" Lin Mu grinned widely.

"Tsk, narcissist!" Luo Aimiao playfully punched Lin Mu, "Be serious!"

"Well, actually Gao Jinsong understands the current situation very well. If he doesn’t transfer the hospital to us, then the hospital’s expenses would be like a bottomless pit — only losses, no profits. Eventually, it would be drained dry. So when I proposed acquiring their hospital, it was exactly what Gao Jinsong wanted." Lin Mu explained.

"Then why did Gao Jinsong suddenly admit to hiring that person when you were about to leave?" Luo Aimiao asked, confused.

"It’s quite simple really. Since I’m looking for him, it means I’ve already found out. Gao Jinsong isn’t dumb; if I were to leave, he’d definitely be afraid. He fears I would destroy him. He knows I’m mixed up in the underworld; destroying him would be as easy as crushing an ant, so he had no choice but to admit it. Actually, admitting or not admitting was inconsequential because he knew he couldn’t hide it from me, and he was afraid of me." Lin Mu replied cheerfully.

"Oh, so that’s how it is." Luo Aimiao nodded as she seemed to finally understand.

Just after leaving the hospital, Lin Mu’s phone rang. Upon checking, it was the Chief Police Officer calling.

"Hey, Chief Police Officer, what’s up?" Lin Mu answered the call with an alluring smile.

"What kind of trouble have you caused? Can’t stand a day without stirring something up, can you?" The Chief Police Officer mercilessly scolded Lin Mu.

Lin Mu, listening to this, asked somewhat dejectedly, "Chief Police Officer, what have I done to upset you?"

"Did you beat up a teacher named Fang Zhongxin?" The Chief Police Officer questioned sternly.

"Yeah, I indeed beat the guy up; he deserved it, so I gave him a good thrashing." Lin Mu thought it was about something else; regarding this trivial matter, Lin Mu saw no need to hide it, so he admitted it openly.

"You... just keep causing trouble for me! I really want to kill you, you bastard!" The Chief Police Officer said angrily and resentfully.

"Uh... what happened this time?"
