Chapter 1226: Ascend
Aldrian then returned to the time acceleration room where Sylphia and Baek Jimin were still cultivating. They broke their cultivation the moment they sensed Aldrian entering the room.
"I’m sorry for disturbing your cultivation, ladies, but I have to tell you something..." Aldrian said with a smile.
He then told them about how he would ascend for a while to take a look at the situation in the second heaven. Sylphia and Baek Jimin, who heard it, raised their eyebrows and could not help but sigh.
"So the time has finally come for you to ascend, huh? Be careful, love. Although you are strong, those invaders might have some tricks that could endanger you," Sylphia said while grabbing Aldrian’s hands.
Baek Jimin nodded in agreement as she grabbed his other hand.
Aldrian smiled warmly at them.
"I will. My main purpose is to gather information, so I do not think I will do something that could attract the attention of those gods."
Hearing that, Sylphia and Baek Jimin looked at him with gazes that clearly said,
’You? Not attracting attention? Do you realize what kind of person you are?’
"Well, we will see about that," Sylphia said with a sigh before smiling.
Aldrian raised his eyebrows.
"You don’t believe that I will avoid attracting their attention?"
"Nope," Sylphia and Baek Jimin answered quickly without hesitation, which made Aldrian speechless.
"Oh well, as long as you can come back to us safely, that is all that matters," Baek Jimin said.
Aldrian smiled before nodding.
"I will."
After that, Aldrian left the room and walked toward Angelica’s bedroom where he had placed her this morning. The moment he entered, he saw Angelica already awake and wearing a nightgown that highlighted her sexy body.
She stood on the balcony while enjoying the scenery outside. The sight of her truly looked like a beautiful painting.
She turned her head to look at Aldrian, who was already approaching her quickly. Both of them smiled at each other. After Aldrian reached her, he hugged her from behind and instantly kissed her lips.
She enjoyed his lips and the caress of his hands for a moment before they separated and looked at the scenery together.
"How do you feel, love?" Aldrian asked.
"Good," Angelica replied, but then she blushed. "But you really tortured me with pleasure last night. I never felt something like that before."
Aldrian’s smile became proud.
"That is my reward for you. You will never forget it, and you will ask for more in the future," Aldrian said beside her ear before nibbling it gently.
Angelica bit her lips to hold back the ticklish sensation from her ear. She turned her head and looked at him with a flushed face.
"Who would ask for more?" she said in an embarrassed tone.
Aldrian smiled after seeing that adorable reaction and expression, then hugged her tightly while looking at the scenery.
Angelica was still embarrassed, but she continued smiling before looking forward once more.
"Angelica, I have to go somewhere for a moment," Aldrian said after a few moments of silence.
Angelica turned her head to look at his face.
"Where to?"
Aldrian then told her about his plan regarding the second heaven. After hearing it, worry appeared on Angelica’s face before she let out a sigh.
"I see. Please be careful, dear. The enemies you will face will be much stronger than before. I know you are strong, but do not do anything reckless. Please come back safely to me, to us, your family."
Aldrian raised his eyebrows.
"Why do you think I would do something reckless? I am simply gathering information and... well, maybe killing some of them."
"I doubt that," Angelica replied quickly without hesitation, which made Aldrian speechless.
But Aldrian smiled and hugged her tighter.
"Do not worry, I will come back. Moreover, I am still waiting for all of your children. How could I let myself fall into danger?"
Angelica smiled warmly and looked at her own abdomen. She could not wait for her own child to grow.
Aldrian and Angelica spent some time together before Aldrian continued with his own business.

Time passed quickly, and the time for Aldrian and the twins to ascend finally arrived. They stood in the middle of one of the plazas within the Guardian Palace while wearing simple white robes that covered their entire bodies.
Many of his followers looked at them from the distance. Bai Cangming was also among them after missing their gathering the day before yesterday because he had been cultivating inside the time acceleration room.
Aldrian’s family also looked at him with belief in their gazes that he would succeed and return to them safely.
Aldrian looked at the twins and nodded. All of their faces suddenly transformed into different appearances. Aldrian used the face he had used in the past while roaming the Barisan Continent. Their auras also disappeared, making it impossible for anyone to determine their cultivation through their aura.
Zervan and Zarven had already released some of the seals on their cultivation, which at this moment made them Immortal Saint cultivators.
After that, they used their ability to conceal their presence entirely. They used a technique that even allowed them to become one with space itself. Their presence could not be perceived by any senses other than sight.
Seeing that all of them were ready, Aldrian looked at his family and smiled.
"I’m going," he said, causing all of his family, from his parents to his wives, to smile in understanding.
"Be careful," Irene said.
Although she was quite far from him, Aldrian could still hear her.
"I will," Aldrian answered before communicating with the heavens.
"Send me and the twins to the second heavens. Do not separate us."
Not long after he sent that message, an aura of the heavens suddenly spread from the sky and swept toward where Aldrian and the twins stood. Everyone watching them could sense it as well.
For Aldrian’s followers, they usually sensed this after the heavenly tribulation required to reach the Immortal Realm. After cultivators passed the tribulation, the heavens would give this kind of sign, signaling that the ones who passed would ascend.

The aura was strong but not intimidating or terrifying.
Instead, it felt holy and solemn.
Suddenly, a white portal shining brightly opened in the sky above Aldrian and the twins.
A powerful suction force suddenly emerged from the portal, something that could not be resisted. The force lifted Aldrian and the twins toward the portal while the holy light and aura of the heavens illuminated them.
All of Aldrian’s followers fell to their knees, surprising his family.
"May the great emperor of all heavens return with glory!" they shouted in unison.
Aldrian looked at all of them with a smile before he and the twins quickly disappeared into the light. Once their figures vanished, the light slowly dimmed and the aura gradually weakened.
Not long after, the portal quickly disappeared and the sky returned to normal.
Sylphia, who witnessed it all, maintained her warm smile.
"May glory always follow you," she murmured.

After being sucked into the portal, Aldrian and the twins felt a powerful pulling sensation that pressed their bodies with heavy gravity. They could only see white light surrounding them, and after a few moments of enduring the intense pressure, they suddenly felt another sensation as if they had just passed through another portal.
The moment they passed through it, the scenery before their eyes instantly changed. They found themselves standing among dense trees.
From their observation, it seemed they had appeared inside a forest.
Then, in the distance, they saw a towering mountain and—
Boom!
The mountain disappeared in an instant as if someone had punched it apart. The remnants of the mountain were thrown in one direction while powerful winds swept them thousands of kilometers away.
Aldrian and the twins wondered what had happened. Aldrian looked at the twins and nodded.
Then all of them instantly disappeared.

In the distance, near what used to be a mountain, a battle had broken out between two groups. One of the groups wore white robes with sword symbols on their backs, while the other wore brown and black robes.
Their battle shook the land as every clash destroyed a massive area. The thousands of kilometers around them had already turned into flat land filled with craters, clear signs of the great battle.
From the fighting styles of each group, the white-robed side specialized in swordsmanship while the others fought using their bodies, showing that they focused on body cultivation.
Each sword strike could cut through space, and every fist attack could pierce space itself. The situation was truly chaotic.
"You damned followers of Avergis will die here!" one of the men from the black-robed group shouted.
One of the men from the white-robed group snorted.
"Keep dreaming, you savages, followers of the Savage God."
"What did you say?!" the man in black robes roared as he unleashed his punch. If the strength of that punch were unleashed upon the Barisan Continent, it would instantly flatten half of it.
The white-robed man slashed with his sword and instantly cut apart the power of the fist attack, but the man in black robes did not stop and continued attacking relentlessly.
While they were still fighting, unbeknownst to all parties involved in the battle, three figures were already observing the great battle while remaining completely undetected.
