Chapter 1179: Visiting His Sister

Not far from Mo Yuheng’s house, nineteen people gathered, looking around as if searching for something. They stood on the same road where Aldrian and his wives had taken toward Mo Yuheng’s house.

They were the group from the Red Moon Guild that had come with Ye Zhentao and met Aldrian at the Hanging Gardens restaurant.

Li Zhanfeng, who was among them, looked pissed as he scanned his surroundings.

"Is this where they were last seen?" he asked.

"Yes. The information department that has access to the security cameras across the city saw that they suddenly appeared nearby and walked in this direction. But they couldn’t determine their exact location because they moved into an area without cameras," an A-rank hunter beside him said.

Li Zhanfeng clicked his tongue and looked at the quiet road ahead.

"Brother Li, do we really need to apologize? I mean, we could just wait for some time and say that we already met those otherworlders and apologized. No one would know the truth," one of the B-rank hunters with a bald head said.

Slap!

Li Zhanfeng slapped the bald man’s head with a furious expression.

"Are you crazy? Do you think the higher-ups, especially someone like Master Han Kuang, can be fooled just by words? Damnit, are you an idiot? They will know if we lie, and if that happens, we will experience something worse than death!" he said angrily as the bald man rubbed his head.

"I’m sorry, Brother Li," the bald man said.

Li Zhanfeng snorted and looked forward.

"What bad luck, fuck! Why did we have to meet those otherworlder bastards today?" one of the A-rank hunters shouted in frustration.

"Well, at least our eyes were blessed with those beauties. I’ve never seen women that beautiful. But to think that all three of them are that man’s wives... what a lucky bastard," another commented.

But then they remembered how Ye Zhentao’s hand had been severed, and how he died a horrible death in such a mysterious way. From the signs, it was most likely poison, yet none of them had seen how that man did it.

That man otherworlder had only eaten, completely focused on his food without even looking at them, and they had not sensed anything at all. It was like some creepy magic they did not understand, and then suddenly... it was done.

An S-rank hunter, dead!

Their bodies shuddered, and they stopped joking about Aldrian’s wives. They were still shaken by how easily an S-rank hunter had died. It was the first time they had seen someone at that level look so helpless. Ye Zhentao could not even escape at all.

Silence fell for a few seconds before Li Zhanfeng finally spoke.

"Search the nearby area. There are some places here without security cameras, focus on those. Let’s see where those otherworlders went. If you find them, contact the others."

They then spread across the area, searching for any trace of Aldrian.

-----------------------------

Inside Mo Yuheng’s house, Aldrian had already sensed them and knew they were searching for him and his wives. From their conversation, it seemed they had come to apologize?

He smiled as he more or less understood what had happened behind the scenes.

’Their higher-ups must have already learned about us and sent these people to apologize.’

With how arrogant they were, it was impossible for them to come and apologize on their own. They had to be forced by their higher-ups.

Aldrian then looked at his wives, who had also sensed the group. Their gazes met, showing silent understanding.

Mo Yuheng, who did not understand what was happening, looked at Aldrian with a confused expression.

"Uhm, is there something wrong, Mister Aldrian?"

Aldrian smiled at him.

"Nothing. Anyway, what I wanted to say earlier is, could we visit your sister now? The sooner she gets treated, the better it will be."

"Well... in my sister’s case, visitors are only allowed during certain hours. She needs to sleep most of the time to suppress the violent energy inside her. Right now isn’t visiting time, but I think I can talk to the nurse and tell her that I’ve finally found a healer. That might allow you to see her." Mo Yuheng said.

Aldrian nodded. "Then let’s go. Let’s visit your sister now."

He stood up, followed by Sylphia and the others.

Mo Yuheng also stood up, thinking they would need to take public transportation to get there. But he froze when his surroundings suddenly changed into a completely different environment.

He blinked a few times before his eyes widened in shock.

They were already outside the hospital where his older sister was being treated!

There were people nearby who were also shocked by their sudden appearance. But the moment they saw Aldrian and his wives, their shock deepened.

Mo Yuheng was still slightly disoriented and confused about how they had suddenly appeared here, but Aldrian’s voice brought him back to focus.

"Let’s go to your sister."

Mo Yuheng quickly nodded and guided Aldrian and his wives to his older sister’s room. His sister was on the fiftieth floor, inside one of the VIP rooms. She had to be treated in this kind of room so her condition would not worsen.

Mo Yuheng met with a nurse he already knew and told her that Aldrian wanted to help his sister. The nurse was shocked upon seeing Aldrian and his wives because she had already seen them on the internet. They had caused a great sensation, and there were even rumors that they were the cause of Ye Zhentao’s death.

How could these otherworlders be with Mo Yuheng, who was known as the fallen noble?

Still, the nurse did not say anything about it and instead contacted the doctor responsible for Mo Yuheng’s sister. She called him using her smart bracelet, and the moment the doctor heard it, he immediately told them to wait and said he would come in person.

After waiting for a few minutes, a middle-aged doctor rushed over. He looked at Aldrian and his wives in astonishment, but still greeted them respectfully.

"Welcome to Hope Sanctuary Hospital, sir and ladies. I heard that you came to treat Yuheng’s older sister, so I came here immediately."

"Yes, Doctor. We heard about Mo Yuheng’s sister, and we think we can help by healing her," Aldrian replied.

The doctor nodded. "If you don’t mind, could I also see how you will treat her? I would like to observe the treatment process."

Aldrian smiled. "Of course."

The doctor’s expression turned ecstatic, and he personally escorted them to Mo Yuheng’s older sister. After a few moments, they finally reached her room and stepped inside quietly.

The moment they entered, Aldrian and his wives saw a beautiful lady with long brown hair lying on a large hospital bed. She looked very pale and slightly thin. Her bed was surrounded by a separate transparent glass enclosure, making her look like she was under strict quarantine.

Beside her bed was a large machine displaying her vital signs, along with several tubes carrying different liquids into her body through infusion lines.

She looked asleep, but it was clearly not peaceful. Her brows were slightly furrowed, sweat rolled down her face, and her lips occasionally let out faint groans as if she was enduring pain. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

"Her condition is what we call chaos fever. At the moment, she is still stable, but the violent energy inside her is deteriorating her internal organs. By now, all of her meridians are already broken, which makes her no different from an ordinary person without power," the doctor explained.

"If this goes on, it’s only a matter of time before even our machines can no longer stabilize her condition. With her condition deteriorating from within, there is only so much we can do to lessen her pain. As long as the root cause, which is the violent energy from the gate inside her, does not disappear."

"Actually, chaos fever is not rare. There have been many such cases in the past."

"However, the problem is that the violent energy inside Mo Yiran comes from an S-rank gate. This is the first time we know of someone developing chaos fever from an S-rank gate. Because of the intensity of the violent energy compared to normal cases, our medicine cannot fully heal her."

"The violent energy has already seeped into every part of her body, even the most sensitive areas such as her heart and brain. If we make a wrong move during treatment, it might endanger her life instead." The doctor sighed.

"With how violent the energy inside her is, based on my estimation, this kind of illness can only be healed by someone at SS-rank with healing abilities. But such people are truly rare. Even in this country, there are only two of them." The doctor looked at Mo Yuheng apologetically.

"And I doubt Mo Yuheng can invite someone like them with his current situation. I also cannot do anything because of the hospital’s regulations, which do not allow me to bring in outside healers."

Mo Yuheng looked at the doctor with an understanding expression.

"It’s okay, Uncle Fang. You have already done your best to treat elder sis. We are truly grateful for everything you have done for us."

This doctor was an old acquaintance of their parents and the reason they could receive special treatment. Sometimes, he even helped with the treatment costs when Mo Yuheng did not have enough money.

However, Mo Yuheng knew that there was only so much he could do as a doctor here. He did not have the authority to freely decide how to treat his sister.

All of them then stood in front of the transparent glass.

"The glass is a special type used to quarantine her from any harmful energy that might slip into this room. With chaos fever, we are afraid that it will worsen her condition if any harmful energy comes into contact with her body," the doctor said.

After that, he slid the transparent glass to the side so Aldrian and the others could reach Mo Yuheng’s older sister.

As if sensing someone nearby, Mo Yuheng’s sister slowly opened her eyes.
