Chapter 214: Chaotic Explosion
KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH!!!
The resulting shockwave flattened dunes for kilometers. Sand rose into the sky like tsunamis. Even faraway warriors at Senkeht stumbled from the pressure. Forta narrowed his eyes.
"Push it farther!"
Hakim nodded instantly. If this continued any closer to the town, Senkeht itself would disappear. But the beast wasn’t going to make it easy for them. It suddenly raised its claw. The storm clouds above twisted violently as thousands... No... Tens of thousands of lightning bolts descended simultaneously.
The sky disappeared beneath purple destruction. Forta roared, and the desert rose. Entire mountains of stone erupted upward to intercept the lightning storm.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOM! BOOOOOOM! BOOOOOOM!
Explosions echoed nonstop. Stone shattered endlessly. Lightning carved the desert apart. The very landscape began changing permanently.
The beast moved again. It was far too fast for something of its size. It appeared directly before Forta, and its claw descended. Forta crossed his arms. The impact sank him hundreds of meters into the earth instantly. The surrounding desert collapsed inward from sheer force.
Hakim appeared above the beast immediately afterward, flames condensed around his fist so intensely that they had turned blue-white. He punched downward. The beast raised its head, and their attacks collided. The heavens split apart.
Back at Senkeht, everyone could see it. The distant battlefield looked like the end of the world. Every collision sounded like divine wrath descending upon creation itself. Even Ren briefly glanced toward the distant battle while restraining the Solar Wyrm.
"Yeah," he muttered. "That’s definitely above my pay grade." (It’s just a comment... ’...’)
Meanwhile, deep within the battlefield of Demigods, Hakim coughed blood. Forta’s stone armor had partially shattered, and the beast looked almost untouched. Purple lightning crackled around its body endlessly while its glowing eyes burned brighter than before.
Then it spoke.
"You two are strong." Its smile widened. "But you are still mortal."

The battlefield beneath the walls of Senkeht had become hell itself. Fire raged, and blood soaked the sand. Screams echoed endlessly beneath the sounds of collapsing structures and roaring beasts.
Two monsters clashed like calamities.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
The solar wyrm’s massive body smashed against the ground as Ren barely redirected its attack using warped space. The impact alone annihilated an entire section of dunes. Sand exploded skyward in gigantic waves. Ren skidded backward violently across the desert, his claws digging deep trenches into the ground as smoke rose from his arms.
"Okay," he muttered while panting slightly. "That actually hurt."
The solar wyrm roared. The sound alone ruptured the air. Heat exploded outward from its gigantic body while molten cracks spread across the desert floor beneath it. The beast’s golden eyes locked onto Ren with murderous intelligence.
The wyrm lunged forward with horrifying speed for something so gigantic. Its jaws opened wide enough to swallow buildings whole. Ren vanished instantly. Space folded, and he reappeared above the wyrm’s head and slammed both feet downward.
BOOOOOOOOM!!!
The impact forced the solar wyrm’s head downward into the desert. The ground cratered inward violently.
Ren smirked. "Ha! Big lizard..."
The desert exploded beneath him. His instincts screamed. A gigantic tail coated in molten solar energy whipped upward.
CRAAAAAAASH!!!
Ren crossed his arms barely in time. The impact launched him through the air like a cannonball. He smashed through multiple earth constructs near the outskirts of Senkeht before finally crashing into the wall itself.
BOOOOOOOOM!
The battlements shook violently. Several warriors nearly lost their footing. Ren slowly peeled himself out of the crater.
"I hate snakes."
The solar wyrm rose slowly from the desert, completely unharmed. Its gigantic body glowed brighter now. The temperature around it kept increasing. The sand near its body had already become molten glass. The beast opened its jaws slowly as energy gathered inside its throat.
Ren’s ears flattened instantly. "That looks illegal."
The wyrm fired.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
A gigantic beam of condensed solar destruction erupted across the battlefield. Everything in its path vanished. The desert split apart as stone melted instantly. Even the air ignited. Ren’s eyes widened.
CRACK!
Space warped repeatedly around him as he dodged through fractured dimensions desperately. The beam chased him, erasing everything it touched. One wrong movement, and he would disappear entirely.
The warriors watching felt despair creeping into their hearts again, because despite Ren’s absurd strength, the solar wyrm was overwhelming. Its raw power was monstrous.
Ren reappeared atop a ruined structure, breathing harder now. Burn marks covered parts of his fur. One of his ears twitched weakly.
"Okay... No more playing around."
The red markings across his body glowed brighter as the space around him began distorting unnaturally, as if reality disliked his presence. The solar wyrm roared again and charged. Ren disappeared and reappeared directly beneath the beast with his claws slashing upward.
CRAAAAACK!
Space tore open alongside the attack. A massive wound opened across the wyrm’s underbelly and golden blood exploded outward. The solar wyrm shrieked in pain and fury. The entire battlefield trembled from the sound. Ren grinned wildly now.
"There we go!"
The wyrm retaliated instantly. Its body coiled unnaturally fast around Ren and slammed him into the ground repeatedly. The earth collapsed deeper with every impact. Earth constructs nearby, shattered. Warriors screamed and fled from the shockwaves alone. The wyrm finally opened its jaws and bit down.
BOOOOOOM!!!
A gigantic explosion erupted, causing dust to consume everything. Silence followed briefly. The wolar wyrm slowly lifted its head. Its jaws dripped blood, and deep within the crater, Ren lay motionless. The battlefield slowed. Several warriors turned pale. Even Bahamut’s expression darkened sharply in the distance.
The Solar Wyrm slowly raised its head victoriously, its golden eyes burning with savage dominance.
CRACK!
A strange sound echoed. The Solar Wyrm froze. Its pupils narrowed. The space around the crater began splintering literally like glass. Purple-black fractures spread through the air itself. From deep inside the crater, something laughed softly.
"Ooooh." The voice sounded distorted, not entirely Ren’s anymore. "That actually pissed me off."
Something was about to happen. Something intense and insane, and the wyrm could sense it.
