By the time Yun Linhai and the others finished moving all the seafood, Yun Jiao had caught about two jin of sea centipedes.
There weren’t many left here after she caught them the first time.
Now, they were even harder to catch.
"Jiaojiao, come and eat."
Yun Chendong had taken a few shrimp and fish to grill, but with limited ingredients, they didn’t turn out very well.
But Yun Jiao wasn’t a picky eater and ate with great relish.
"Next time, let’s bring a pot and cook some fish and shrimp right here on the island."
Yun Linhe said, "We should check another island. There’s not much left to find here."
While they were eating and chatting, the sea turtle came ashore.
It was carrying something in its mouth.
Yun Linhe chuckled. "This turtle was worth raising. It never comes out of the sea empty-handed. What’s it brought us this time?"
They walked over to take a look and their eyes instantly widened.
"Th-th-th... This is gold!"
That’s right. The item the sea turtle had brought ashore this time was a gold bar.
Yun Linhai and the others quickly took the gold bar.

The adults’ faces flushed with excitement.
"There’s... there’s actually gold bars in this sea!"
If they could find more, their family would be rich.

"Not even my brothers?"

They had a large family, so a common thief might not be that scary.
What was scary was a thief so blinded by greed they’d be willing to take a risk. If one came with a weapon, it wouldn’t matter how many men were in the family; someone would still get hurt.
Yun Jiao nodded. "Okay, I won’t tell."
As the eldest brother, Yun Linhai put the gold bar away and the matter was not discussed again.
"Come on, we should get going. We brought the cast net today, so we have to at least try a few casts."
After boarding the boat, Yun Linhai and the others took turns rowing, casting the net based on their intuition.
This part was purely down to luck.
Fortunately, unlike when they arrived, Yun Linhai’s luck was good this time.
The heavy weight in his hands brought a surprised look to his face.
"Quick, help me pull in the net!"
With all three of them pulling together, the fishing net was quickly hauled up.

She pointed to a spot on the water’s surface.

There were also some other small fish and shrimp.
Yun Jiao stared at the sea. "Dad, my fishing rod."
If she had a fishing rod, she could be fishing right now.

Only then was Yun Jiao satisfied.

Triangular black fins broke the surface of the sea as a group of black-and-white killer whales swam toward their small boat.
