Chapter 151: Chapter 151: Cecilia Sinclair Violently Attacks Sarah Lynch
Cherry Cole pulled Leila Jennings farther away. They hid behind a large tree at the corner of a flowerbed, peeking out.
"What did you say to Cecilia Sinclair? You’ve got her riled up like a fighting cock."
"I had her compare who Sean Sinclair treats better: her or Sarah Lynch."
Comparisons are always hurtful.
Cherry Cole was astonished. "You can even compare them like that? Cecilia Sinclair is Sean Sinclair’s sister, and Sarah Lynch is his lover. They’re not even in the same category, so how can you compare them?"
"Cecilia Sinclair thinks her brother should treat her the best, that even his wife shouldn’t be more important than her." Leila Jennings could deeply relate to that.
Cherry Cole’s mouth twitched. "Family should be close, but once a brother gets married, he has his own family. He should treat his wife better, not his sister, right? I could maybe understand treating them equally, but a sister wanting to be more important than the wife? I just don’t get it."
She shook her head.
Leila Jennings touched Cherry Cole’s arm and gestured with her chin. "Sarah Lynch is coming down."
Cherry Cole rubbed her hands together in anticipation.
Cecilia Sinclair was like a fighting cock right now. If she didn’t start a fight with Sarah Lynch, Cherry would count it as a loss.
The two of them peeked, their eyes glued to the scene.
When Sarah Lynch saw only Cecilia Sinclair downstairs and not Sean Sinclair, she asked in surprise, "Cecilia, where’s your brother?"
"My brother isn’t here." Cecilia Sinclair stared intently at Sarah Lynch’s face. ’Her skin is so perfect. How many high-end skincare products must she use? How many times must she have gone to a beauty salon?’
’Even her simple loungewear is from a luxury brand.’
Facing Cecilia Sinclair’s deception and scrutiny, Sarah Lynch frowned slightly, a bad premonition dawning on her.
"So, Cecilia, what did you come to see me for?" She did her best to maintain her gentle and beautiful persona, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
Sarah Lynch had no idea that the Sinclair Family already knew that Sean Sinclair had emptied his coffers for her.
The last time she saw Cecilia Sinclair, Cecilia was still cursing Leila Jennings, thinking all of Sean Sinclair’s money had gone to her.
"All these years, my brother has actually been giving his money to you, not Leila Jennings, right?" Cecilia Sinclair asked, getting straight to the point.
Sarah Lynch froze.
’How did they find out so quickly?’
She struggled to stay calm, forcing a smile. "No, of course not. Who did you hear that from? It wasn’t Leila Jennings who told you, was it?"
When Leila Jennings’s name was mentioned, Sarah Lynch caught the brief hesitation on Cecilia Sinclair’s face and quickly added, "I knew it. Leila Jennings is always trying to sow discord and ruin our relationship."
"My mom told me," Cecilia Sinclair roared. "Our whole family knows! I only found out yesterday!"
This caught Sarah Lynch completely off guard.
"Wh-what?" Her voice stuttered, and the panic in her eyes was plain to see.
"So it really was all spent on you! All of it! Do you have any idea that because of you, I can’t even study abroad anymore!"
"And you lied to me! You used my brother’s money to buy things for our family!"
Cecilia Sinclair swung the diamond-studded handbag she was carrying and smashed it against Sarah Lynch.
Cherry Cole sucked in a sharp breath. She never would have expected Cecilia Sinclair to get physical, hitting Sarah Lynch so hard she couldn’t even fight back. In the end, Sarah had to crouch down to protect her head, all while trying to grab Cecilia’s handbag.
"Cecilia, let me explain!"
"I won’t listen! Not unless you give my brother’s money back!"
Sarah Lynch’s wrist stung from a blow. Just as she pulled it back, the diamond handbag smashed squarely into her forehead.
The bag was heavy, filled with a phone and cosmetics. The impact left a large, nasty bruise on Sarah Lynch’s temple.
"Cecilia Sinclair is such a strong fighter..." Cherry Cole’s mouth fell open in surprise.
Leila Jennings reached out and propped up her chin to keep it from getting sore, explaining, "Cecilia Sinclair used to collect protection money in middle school."
"So she was a real little delinquent?"
"Mhm." Leila Jennings nodded.
Over on the ground, Sarah Lynch, her forehead now bruised and swollen, finally lost her patience. During a lull in Cecilia Sinclair’s attack, she scrambled to her feet. "Cecilia Sinclair, have you made enough of a scene?! How can you be so stupid, attacking me before you even have the facts straight?"
Cherry Cole: "???"
"How can Sarah Lynch be so good at twisting things?"
Leila Jennings had seen it before. Sarah Lynch would never admit to anything unless confronted with ironclad evidence.
Cherry Cole asked, "Did you bring the documents my brother printed out back then?"
Leila Jennings pulled a thin folder from her bag. "Not all of it, but this is enough."
"You actually brought it!"
This was something Leila Jennings always brought when she was expecting to see the Sinclair Family.
Cherry Cole reached for it, but Leila Jennings didn’t let her take it.
"I’ll give it to her. I’m afraid Cecilia Sinclair might accidentally hurt you. She really does fight dirty." When facing someone weaker than her, Cecilia Sinclair thought nothing of pulling hair and slapping faces.
Cherry Cole replied, "Then that’s all the more reason I can’t let you go alone."
Just as Sarah Lynch was about to explain something else, she saw Leila Jennings and Cherry Cole emerge from the corner and walk towards them.
She was all too familiar with the papers in Leila Jennings’s hand.
’It’s Leila Jennings!’
"You’re the one who instigated Cecilia to come and cause trouble for me, aren’t you?" Sarah Lynch glared at her. "What are you going to slander me with this time?"
Right in front of Sarah Lynch, Leila Jennings handed the documents to Cecilia Sinclair. "Take a look. A lot of people have already seen this."
"Three million a month... it’s actually true..." Cecilia Sinclair’s hands trembled, and her gaze towards Sarah Lynch turned vicious again. "Sarah Lynch! How can you be so shameless!"
"You bitch!"
She grabbed a handful of Sarah Lynch’s hair, and her palm followed, slapping her across the face.
In contrast, Sarah Lynch could only scream for Cecilia Sinclair to let her go. Her fighting ability was just too weak.
Cherry Cole and Leila Jennings both took a step back, afraid of getting splattered with blood.
Just as they backed away, the two of them started wrestling on the ground.
Cecilia Sinclair was on top, straddling Sarah Lynch’s upper thighs and raining down slaps. SMACK! SMACK!
All the while, she was cursing, "Bitch!"
She looked just like a wife catching her husband cheating.
Who would have thought that this was actually just Sean Sinclair’s sister?
Cherry Cole was so startled she kept flinching. She whispered to Leila Jennings, "Is this really the same Cecilia Sinclair we’re used to seeing?"
"It’s because she feels justified this time. Once she does, she becomes unstoppable." Leila Jennings pulled Cherry Cole a few more steps back. "More importantly, she really loves money."
Mrs. Sinclair was vain, but Cecilia Sinclair was even more so.
Not only was it a trait passed down, but the student had surpassed the master.
The commotion they were making was so loud that security guards rushed over immediately to pull them apart. Sarah Lynch’s hair was a mess, her clothes were askew, and she was covered in dust from the ground.
She desperately protected her face.
Her face wasn’t red, but the backs of her hands and her neck were, from fending off the blows.
Cherry Cole remarked, "Lots of slaps, but her aim is terrible."
The guards were trying their best to mediate, but once Cecilia Sinclair went berserk, she was completely unreasonable.
Left with no other choice, a guard asked Sarah Lynch if she wanted to call the police.
Sarah Lynch said no.
Cecilia Sinclair still had leverage over her.
"Cecilia Sinclair, once you’ve had your fit, just go home. I won’t tell your brother," Sarah Lynch said, looking magnanimous.
Cecilia Sinclair spat.
Cherry Cole, who loved watching drama and wasn’t afraid to stir the pot, asked Leila Jennings, "What do you think would happen if we called Sean Sinclair over right now?"
Leila Jennings gave her a dark look, then pulled out her phone, took a picture, and sent it to Sean Sinclair as an MMS.
She attached a message: Your sister and your Lover are fighting at The Aquarina.
