Chapter 175: Chapter 103: "Sorry, You’ve Got the Wrong Person

Every Wizard at Tier Five or above has their own exclusive title, and Sabeck was no exception.

The name he chose for himself was "Sea Witch."

Because he loved the sea.

And the sea loved him back.

Sabeck had grown up by the coast and was on the water when his Magic Power awakened. The name "Sea Witch" represented the deep bond between him and the ocean.

Watching him stride forward confidently with a cigar dangling from his lips, an odd expression appeared on Sean’s face.

To be honest, he had been startled when the door was first kicked in. Sabeck and his men had arrived so suddenly, and Sean had never imagined they would dare to kick the door down.

Sean had figured that anyone this audacious must have come prepared. But when he scanned them with his perception, he found they were surrounded by nothing but Tier Three and Tier Four Wizards. There were even a few Tier Two Wizards, who were weaker than him. ’And *they* dare to be our "personal butlers?"’

’Don’t they know there are two real powerhouses here?’

’Apparently not...’

Sabeck had been tailing Sean the whole time. After all, Sean was the primary target. Since the Long Night Union and the Dawn Council’s operation was secret this time, he had no idea how many Wizards were on the Jimmyria. He only knew it was 100 against 9—the advantage was his!

Sean couldn’t resist asking Elvire, "Ever heard of a ’Sea Witch’?"

Elvire shook her head. "No."

Sabeck, holding his cigar, exhaled a thick cloud of smoke and smiled. "No matter. You’ve heard it now."

The cigar’s aroma was strong, quickly tingeing the air with the scent of smoked chocolate mixed with a faint hint of toasted wood. It had a sophisticated scent and was probably quite expensive.

Elvire frowned.

She didn’t like the smell of smoke, even though it wasn’t pungent.

Sean, ever one to ask when he didn’t understand, said, "Mr. Sabeck, is it? I’m just curious, where do you get the confidence to kick in our door?"

Sabeck chuckled and, raising his hand, snapped his fingers.

SNAP!

In an instant, a thick, damp air washed over them.

The presidential suite naturally had the best view on the entire ship. The living room’s floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows made you feel like you could reach out and embrace the ocean. But now, outside those windows, the sea’s surface had collapsed into a whirlpool. Rushing currents spun faster and faster, drawing in the surrounding water before surging upward, against the current, to form a massive waterspout.

The strong winds howled, carrying the seawater with them. The salty, briny smell of the ocean permeated everything. Even with the windows closed, it felt as if they were being swept away by the sea—a feeling both rank and humid.

"This is the source of my confidence."

Sabeck declared, his voice booming.

His "Sea Witch" title wasn’t just for show.

If one day he could become a Grand Mage, the entire ocean would heed his command. A single Magic Spell would be enough to summon a tsunami and sink the entire Jimmyria to the bottom of the sea.

He wasn’t that formidable yet, but this was more than enough to deal with Sean and the others.

"At sea, I am invincible," Sabeck said.

Sean: "..."

Elvire: "..."

’Why does that sound so familiar?’

They both turned to look at Kate.

Kate: "..."

"Hmph!"

’He’d just been careless last time, caught off guard. The next time he ran into Robes, there was no way he would die!’

Sabeck, ignoring the silent exchange between the three, continued, "So... give up. You’re no match for me."

"Surrender now, and we can still have a nice chat."

"Otherwise, don’t blame me for being indiscriminate when I toss you all into the sea to feed the fish."

This was directed at Yisha and Koni in the corner, as well as Adelf.

He had noticed the old man with the big white beard on the sofa.

But he didn’t pay him any mind.

The old man had a kind and benevolent face; he looked like a pushover.

It wasn’t that Sabeck was unaware that the Dawn Council had a terrifying Chairman. He just knew that, according to his intel, the Chairman lived in Alola Town year-round and rarely ventured out. Unlike Kate and Flame Crow, he didn’t make frequent public appearances. As a result, the only intelligence Grey Bird Logistics had on Adelf was a name; they had no idea what he looked like.

After all, they were still just a small company. Their intelligence network was far from being as comprehensive as that of a major family like Florist.

Sabeck didn’t even consider the possibility.

As for the Night Watcher...

He had never even seen him before.

They weren’t even from the same region.

Grey Bird Logistics was in Siracle State, while the Long Night Union was in Krim State. The two states were thousands of kilometers apart—they were worlds apart.

Crucially, the Night Watcher’s ability to conceal his Magic Power was even greater than Adelf’s.

Sabeck hadn’t recognized Adelf, but he could sense faint ripples of Magic Power emanating from the man, enough to identify him as a Wizard. The Night Watcher, however, was a different story. Sabeck only noticed someone else was there after taking a few steps into the room and his eyes physically fell upon the man sitting on the other sofa.

This in itself was an extremely dangerous sign.

When you can’t even sense someone’s presence, you don’t hesitate. You run, as fast as you can.

Normally, given Sabeck’s cautious nature, he would have picked up on the danger.

But this was at sea.

When a person is supremely confident, they tend to be... supremely confident.

Not only did he not sense the danger, he was actually annoyed.

Because the Night Watcher had his eyes closed the entire time.

They had been closed from the beginning, and he still hadn’t opened them.

’Isn’t that just blatant disrespect?’

"You! Open your eyes!"

Sabeck pointed at the Night Watcher and said, "Don’t you have any manners at your age? You see Mr. Sea Witch and you don’t even get up to say hello?"

At this, Sean’s expression became even stranger.

Elise watched Sabeck with a look of pure amusement.

’She’d never have imagined it. There was actually someone in this world even better at courting death than their own dear writer.’
