Chapter 136: Chapter 85: "You Think I’m Just Tier 5?
Isn’t that just cheesy and old-fashioned?
And Elise and Yisha are still here!
"Oh, I get it. You two aren’t outsiders, but I am, is that it?" Elise feigned annoyance, her tone laced with sarcasm. "No wonder Mr. Sean was being so generous. Turns out he was just trying to distance himself from me."
This time, Elvire sided with Sean. "You two never had a relationship to begin with."
"Ooh, getting possessive already?" Elise deliberately put on a brave front, refusing to be outdone. "Don’t forget, just like you, I was also assigned by Lord Blake to be Mr. Sean’s Cultivation partner. I don’t want the hundred thousand. I refuse to be treated like an outsider."
Elvire: "?"
"Are you tired of living?"
’Trying to steal a man from her boss? Who gave Elise such nerve?’
Elise shot back playfully, "None of your business."
Just as Elvire was about to curse her out, Yisha couldn’t help but interject, "Hold on, can you guys really relax and split the money right now? Zajik’s men could show up at our door any minute."
Don’t be fooled by how relaxed she seemed when she walked out of the bank with the suitcase, even finding time to wave and make a funny face at the security camera. In reality, she was incredibly nervous!
After all, this was New Eldo.

All signs pointed to this being the enemy’s stronghold.
But that was just her personality—the more nervous she got, the more excited she became.
"Don’t worry, they won’t find us," Sean said.
Elvire added, "And even if they do, we’re not afraid. If Zajik doesn’t come looking for us, we’ll go looking for him."
The score for Zajik injuring Sean at the hospital could be settled once and for all tonight.
The more Yisha listened, the more confused she became. "Are you two talking about the same thing?"
One of you says Zajik can’t find us.
The other says you want him to find us.
So, this place we’re hiding... can Zajik find us here or not?
Sean: "He can’t, but he also can."
Yisha: "?"
’Are you trying to talk in riddles?’
It sounded a bit convoluted, but the meaning was actually easy to guess.
He couldn’t find them because Zajik would never guess they were hiding in this hotel. And yet, he could find them because regardless of the search, Zajik himself was bound to return here tonight. The reason was simple—
"We’re in the room he booked."
Yisha: "Wha???"
’You can actually do that?!’
Yisha was stunned.
Back when they were planning the bank robbery, Sean had only told her to grab the suitcase and meet him in a specific room at this hotel. He never mentioned that the room belonged to Zajik. She never knew she had this much nerve!
Someone else who was in for a huge shock was Zajik.
The fact that he remembered to have his men bring the workbook while they searched showed that, despite his fury, Zajik hadn’t lost his head. He could still rationally consider where Sean was most likely hiding.
In addition to ordering his men to conduct a city-wide search, Zajik also went out himself. He checked several locations in the city he considered ideal hiding spots, including the very hotel where Sean had picked up the suitcase.
But unfortunately for him, Sean never played by the rules.
If you’re going to seek thrills, why not go all the way?

And so...
「8:00 PM, New Eldo time.」
When Zajik dragged his weary body back to the hotel and opened his door, his heart skipped a beat when he discovered four people inside his room.
A person is usually at their most relaxed when returning to their own place. Zajik was already exhausted from a full day of searching, and on top of that, a Magic Potion specially brewed by a Witch was concealing their presence. As a result, Zajik didn’t sense a single soul in the room before he walked in.
He was genuinely startled.
It’s a natural human instinct to be startled, and Wizards are no exception.
It’s just that a Wizard recovers far more quickly than an ordinary person.
And Zajik was no different.
After a moment of shock, he took in the scene: one man, three women, and a bed covered in cash. A deep, furious rage surged onto his face.
"Sean!!"
Zajik practically roared Sean’s name.
’That bastard! It wasn’t enough that he got me suspected by Higgins and robbed my bank—he even has the audacity to divide the spoils in my own room!’
’You son of a bitch stole twelve million from me! Couldn’t you have taken one goddamn bill and gotten your own room?!’
Just as Sabeck never understood Sean’s politeness and elegance, Zajik could not comprehend Sean’s frugality.
He only saw it as a humiliation.
An absolute, utter disgrace!
It was no different from breaking into his house to steal his wife!
Zajik was completely devoted to his career and had never married. To him, money was his wife.
And now, Sean, the man who had stolen his "wife," was smiling and greeting him.
"Good evening, Mr. Zajik. Aren’t you pleasantly surprised?"
’Surprised my ass, you son of a bitch!’
"I’ll kill you!" Zajik roared.
His Magic Power erupted from his body, and an invisible yet violent gale sent the cash covering the bed flying into the air.
This was the "wealthiest" fight Zajik had ever been in.
The same went for Sean.

"Your time is up, Zajik." Elvire’s eyes were filled with killing intent.
A fiery-red Giant Sword materialized in her hand, and she moved to stand and face him.
But Sean stopped her. "Let me handle this."
Now that Zajik was without his Puppets, he was like a Wizard who cultivated Body Techniques but had cut off his own arms. His strength was a shadow of its former self. With his own Tier Three Magic Power, combined with Forbidden Meditation and the Truth Technique, Sean was confident he could take Zajik on.
He might not be guaranteed to win, but he definitely wouldn’t lose.
But Elvire wouldn’t let him.
For one, she didn’t want Sean to take the risk.
For another, Zajik was her personal target.
When she had investigated Zajik before, she hadn’t even used the Dawn Council’s resources.
The same went for Sean.
"This has nothing to do with you," Elvire said.
The one who killed Chris was Quill, and Sean had already avenged his good friend with his own hands. Now, it was her turn to get justice for Sean.
