Chapter 1796: Chapter 1796: Hua Jinyan’s Offering

Little Taotie huffed angrily, "What’s the difference between you raising them and me? You’re eating all my food!"

Feng Qi giggled charmingly, "You have no chance to refuse now!"

Seizing the moment of Little Taotie’s anger, Feng Qi’s big tail became even fluffier and larger, sweeping all the Ghost Servants present away.

A beam of light darted into the Horse-Faced Bell.

Little Taotie was furious, stomping and shaking the Horse-Faced Bell vigorously.

"Feng Qi, come out!"

"Feng Qi, you big bully!"

"Feng Qi, sob sob sob, all my candy is gone! You took all my stored food!"

Little Taotie plopped down on the ground, eyes moist, almost about to burst into tears.

"Here." Hua Jinyan shoved his bag in front of her.

Little Taotie looked up, two big, round eyes misted over, nose slightly red, looking pitiful yet very cute.

"What is it?" Little Taotie tilted her head, blinking her big eyes while water droplets hung on her lashes, ready to fall.

Hua Jinyan’s heart seemed to be tugged hard.

Hua Jinyan lightly pursed his lips, "Open it and you’ll see."

Curious, Little Taotie unzipped the bag, and a rich chocolate aroma wafted out.

The bag was filled with chocolates, each one meticulously wrapped in transparent cellophane, with sunlight reflecting off the wrapping in a spectrum of colors, casting a rainbow-like glow in her sparkling eyes, as if a rainbow was adorned with countless brilliant stars, too dazzlingly beautiful to look away.

Hua Jinyan opened one chocolate; it resembled a pine cone, round and about the size of a thumb, the top half an orangish-brown, the bottom half pure black, exuding an orange’s fresh scent and dark chocolate’s distinctive bitter aroma.

Little Taotie instinctively swallowed her saliva, the tears in her big eyes vanished, and her sparkling eyes were filled with "want"!

Hua Jinyan gently pinched the chocolate with thumb and forefinger, bringing it to her pink, pouty lips, still puffed indignantly from earlier, red and moist.

"Ah!" Little Taotie cooperatively opened her mouth wide, revealing white little teeth and rosy gums.

The white teeth, red gums, and a bit of poutiness made her look incredibly sweet and adorably cute.

Colleagues nearby couldn’t resist and took out their phones to snap pictures.

Little Taotie sat on the ground, with two small legs showing a bit of pale, tender flesh, her little tummy slightly bulging, making her look like she’s made of segments of a lotus root, white and tender, big eyes sparkling, long lashes like butterflies flapping their wings atop them.

Hua Jinyan fed her the chocolate, his fingertip brushing against her rosy lips, instantly feeling like he’d been burned, his whole body turning red.

Little Taotie didn’t notice his anomaly, smiling with crescent eyes, her Little Dimple deepening, savoring the delicious taste of chocolate.

The mix of orange fruit aroma and dark chocolate’s bitterness balanced each other perfectly, with the orange offsetting the bitterness and the dark chocolate balancing the sourness, releasing the most delightful taste cells on her palate just right.

Her taste buds were completely satisfied by this chocolate’s flavor, and Little Taotie was bubbling over with happiness.

Chocolate contains happiness-inducing factors, with pure cocoa powder releasing things that bring joy, but the happiness was too short-lived as the chocolate melted thoroughly in her mouth.

Little Taotie smacked her lips, blinked her big eyes, slowly looking at Hua Jinyan, then gradually shifting to the chocolates in the bag.

Hua Jinyan chuckled softly, "They’re all yours, eat up."
