Chapter 1630: Arriving on Planet Primus Prime
CRACK!
BOOM!
The shell of ice covering Klaus came undone, and a handsome, white-haired man walked out of the mist with a smile on his face.
Klaus, after remaining in the cocoon state for a day, had finally decided to come out and handle his other obligations, the first being his summons by the Celestial Supreme.
He had now become an Immortal King. However, if he wanted, he could become an Immortal Emperor and even an Immortal Monarch right now. However, to maintain his disguise, he had to compromise for now.
"Congratulations on your breakthrough, Klaus," Princess Threnody said the moment Klaus appeared before her. She congratulated him not because she had to, but because she wanted to.
The stronger Klaus became, the happier she was, since, aside from what the rest of the universe believed, to her, Klaus was the Paragon and the most dangerous person at the moment.
With her memories restored, she could vividly recall what she had witnessed during the Blood War. While the Asura race was wiped out, the Heavens Court and its allies were forced to retreat. She was barely conscious then, but she recalled the moment Klaus finally awakened his true bloodline.
Her mother might be an accomplished warrior and one of the most dangerous people in the universe. However, when it came to danger level, the Immortal King standing before her was the most dangerous.
"Thanks, Princess," Klaus replied, and then he turned to the side, where Empress Korvaxa and her elders walked toward him.
"Congratulations, Renegade Hunter," Empress Korvaxa said, maintaining her poker face. She seemed unaffected by anything despite the overflowing aura around Klaus.
He was an Immortal King, but his aura far surpassed that of a Demigod.
"Thank you, Empress Korvaxa. Had it not been for your generosity, I wouldn’t have reached this stage this early," Klaus replied with a smile.
Empress Korvaxa nodded before becoming serious. "Having you around would be good, but I am afraid the Celestial Supreme has sent word that your presence is required on Primus Prime."
"Oh, I suppose I’d better leave now before I make him mad," Klaus said with a chuckle, causing Empress Korvaxa to narrow her eyes slightly. She could sense that Klaus wasn’t worried about seeing the Celestial Supreme.
Many in his shoes would have been tense by now, being summoned by perhaps the most powerful man in the universe. However, Klaus seemed as though he were going to see a long-time friend.
’Just where is his confidence coming from?’ she thought, staring at Klaus.
"Be careful while you’re there. The Celestial Supreme isn’t someone you can be casual with, so be careful."
"I will, and thanks for the advice."
A few minutes later, Klaus stood before his uncle, Monk.
"I am leaving, Uncle Monk."
Uncle Monk nodded and handed a token over to Klaus. "I don’t know what you intend to do, but if—or more likely, when—you find yourself in trouble, crush it. It will create a vacuum around you. It will last for only a few seconds, but that is more than enough time to make a quick escape."
"Thank you, Uncle Monk." Klaus stored the token inside his Soul Sea, where he could easily retrieve and use it.
"Good luck, and whatever has to be done, go ahead and do it. When there is trouble, you have me and your other uncle monks to count on."
Klaus smiled and nodded.
A while later, he stood on the deck of his X-Class spaceship as it sped through the dark channel of the universe. He first had to travel to a planet called Primus-IV, where he would then be escorted by a team of Heaven’s Warriors.
A few minutes later, he walked back to his seat and started recalling the good old days, the time before the Heavens Court became an organisation that despised the Paragon.
During the Primordial Era, he was friends with the first Celestial Supreme. In fact, they met on the battlefield and became friends. Despite Paragon only reaching the Demigod Stage, he wasn’t looked down upon by the Celestial Supreme.
To him, Paragon was one of his most trusted friends. They went on to fight countless grave battles together, and he even gave his life to seal the first Void Gate.
Then came the second Celestial Supreme, who, learning from the first, also made Klaus’ second incarnation, Knox, one of his allies. They, too, spent a great deal of time saving the universe from the gods who sought to rule it with an iron fist.
The second Celestial Supreme didn’t die in the Divine War. He entered seclusion after the battle, and that was the last time Klaus heard of him.
However, everything changed when the third Celestial Supreme came into power. He wanted Asura to take an oath and swear his allegiance to the Heavens Court, something Klaus would never do.
This led to a series of conflicts, which ended with the deaths of the Asura Race and millions of warriors. Ever since then, his other incarnations had faced one act of resistance after another.
"It all comes to an end soon," Klaus muttered and closed his eyes. With Icon taking the helm, he had no fear that they would reach their destination in no time.
Eight days later, they arrived on Planet Primus-IV, and as he had been told, a team of Celestials took him aboard their ship, travelling for a day and a half before they arrived on a ringed planet.
From the outside, the planet appeared brown, but when they landed on the surface, they saw blue skies and three moons. Aside from that, 90% of the planet was covered by water.
The planet itself was about 120 times Earth’s size.
So, despite arriving there, it took them a couple of hours to reach their destination. It was a castle built entirely from jade diamonds and engraved with some of the most advanced runes Klaus had ever seen.
Klaus knew that if a team of one hundred Celestials worked together, it would still take them a great deal of time and effort to bring down the walls of this castle.
However, he wasn’t there to see the castle but to see the man standing at the entrance.
He had green hair and red eyes. If Klaus didn’t know any better, he would have said the Celestial Supreme was a human. However, judging by his pale skin and red eyes, he recognised that this man was a vampire.
Right then, the final memories of his life as Paragon, his first incarnation, resurfaced.
’So it had been you all this while, huh, Elorm, the blood-sucking vampire who betrayed your own parents to the Void Beasts.’
Klaus recognised him, and for a moment, he felt like attacking the bastard who had sold out one of the most powerful families Klaus had ever known during the Primordial Era.
’Your death is nigh, bastard.’
He put on a calm expression and steadily advanced toward the man who had already been waiting for him for days.
"Renegade Hunter, I presume," the Celestial Supreme said, flashing a small smile.
Klaus smiled and replied, "The one and only, Lord Celestial Supreme, sir."
"Just Celestial Supreme will do."
Klaus smiled and nodded. "Sorry for making you wait. I had other obligations that couldn’t be postponed any longer."
"I understand. Well, you’re here now, so why don’t we head inside and meet the others?"
"The others?" Klaus furrowed his brow, but he followed him.
