Chapter 876: Foolish Dragon.

Floating Furnace hesitated to speak. He didn’t know what to say because, technically, he wasn’t instructed to give the dragon some time to make the decision to join the sect.

The sect had actually given a week’s time to track and hunt the dragon. So he could give the dragon some of that time to think. He just didn’t know if this was allowed, so he was hesitating to give a reply.

But Forced Exchange had no such qualms and was quick to answer. The sleezy rank 6 money cultivator smiled and said, "Of course. It is only right that you have time to think about it. Take all of the time you want."

He said that as if he were a generous person. Meanwhile, he was also frantically calling for reinforcements from his alliance.

There was a smile on his face, but inwardly, he was urging the people of the Thorn House of Commerce, saying, "It is a true dragon. I can swear it on my life. Come quickly before it joins the sect or gets taken by other people."

As usual, Money Body was interested in the dragon. His voice was anxious as he asked Forced Exchange, saying, "Where is the dragon now?"

Forced Exchange replied quickly, saying, "He is right there in the Central Domain. He is not even hiding or running away. He is in the open for everyone to see and take."

"It is as if he doesn’t know that dragons are supposed to be extinct and are now in high demand. If you ask me, this dragon won’t live for more than one hour."

Because of what Forced Exchange said, Money Body decided not to wait. He shouted to Forced Exchange, "You must get the dragon at all costs."

In the first dimension, where he was at the meeting point. He took off into the third dimension and left in the direction of the Blessed Heaven World.

The sect didn’t like this behavior of his, so they fined him and also sent a message urging him to return. He didn’t care and wasn’t willing to let the message of the sect change his mind.

In the Blessed Heaven World, the news that there was a dragon in the Blessed Heaven World was beginning to spread. The first reaction for most divine beings who heard the news was disbelief.

They thought that the news was a prank, a mistake, or something else. But when they used the divine constellation to check and truly saw the dragon frolicking around the Central Domain, their disbelief changed to surprise. Then their surprise changed to greed.

As it turned out, greed was a great motivator for people. Because of greed, many divine beings decided to cross the world barrier to enter the Central Domain. It cost them their lifespan to do so, but they didn’t mind the cost.

For most of them, this would be the first time in their lives that they would be seeing a dragon. This is despite the fact that most of them had lived up to a thousand years.

So for many divine beings, just the privilege of seeing a dragon up close would be enough to satisfy them. But many more divine beings came for reasons other than satisfying their curiosity.

In fact, most divine beings came looking for blood. They would prefer to be the ones to kill the dragon and take its heart.

But if they can’t, they would want to settle for fighting the dragon and accomplishing a rare feat that might not be possible to achieve for the next thousand years. This was the itinerary of the warriors and giants of the Martial Body Sect.

Because of the overwhelming interest in him, in just ten minutes, over a hundred divine beings were congregating in his position. There were rank 8, rank 7, and rank 6 cultivators among them.

Loki expected all of these. After all, he had experienced the enthusiasm of divine beings many times before.

He didn’t dare to ask that he wouldn’t be hunted, as that would be a foolish thing to ask of these bloodthirsty people. All he asked for was that they take their time in killing him.

So when a total of ten divine beings had arrived, he said, "I think we should talk about how my heart will be shared when I’m killed. Surely, you don’t hope to just wing it and fight each other after I’m dead?"

Without waiting for an answer from them, he said, "That will be foolish. Fortunately, I have a better idea. You all should fight each other now. The winner gets to kill me and take my heart."

The sound that came out of the listeners was, "Hahahahahaha!"

His suggestion was met with laughter. Everyone began to laugh at him, and some people even began to make fun of him.

Someone said, "I thought dragons would be foolish, but this one is only half foolish. So I’m impressed."

Another divine being said, "This must be the kind of logic dragons use. It reeks of stupidity."

Forced Exchange also sneered and said, "You just want us to fight and weaken each other, so that you can escape. How foolish do you take us for?"

"You want us to fight even when the prize has not been secured? What if the prize escapes after we fight? How foolish would that be?"

Forced Exchange’s series of questions incited another wave of laughter.

Even Floating Furnace shook his head and said, "Your suggestion might have fooled other dragons, but we are not that foolish. You might think that you’re the most intelligent dragon, but it seems your intelligence compared to that of humans is still a step behind."

Everyone talked down on Loki, but he didn’t mind it. He simply shrugged and said, "Oh well. At least, I tried. That’s what my dragon father always said I should do."

Then he asked them, saying, "So you intend to attack me together and then fight each other for whatever is left of me? That seems inefficient, though."
