Chapter 870: Where Did You Come From?

It was as if the boundary of the second dimension was a wall, and someone wanted to see what was going on on the other side of the wall. So the person broke a gap in the wall to peek through.

This person was the Dao Lord of the Four Directions Sect. They came looking for the thing that had killed two rank 8 cultivators of the sect, at least level other divine beings, and had rendered up to 27 Divine Positions empty in the span of a day.

The eyes that looked through the rift were a pair of multicolored eyes. Colors of various kinds simmered within those eyes. Even colors that humans couldn’t see normally and wavelengths of light that most creatures couldn’t perceive were reflected by those eyes.

As the eyes scanned the second heaven, the scenery in the second heaven froze. Every spirit creature stood in place as if they wanted the eyes to have a good look at them.

With the world exposing itself to be seen, nothing could remain hidden from those eyes. At least, there was nothing with the power to hide from those eyes.

The eyes saw the hundred or so rank 8 undead giants scattered across the second heaven. They saw that the eyes were lifeless. As for Monarch Giant Zombie, he was nowhere in sight.

Monarch Giant Zombie couldn’t be seen because he wasn’t in the second heaven. He hadn’t come to the second heaven with his true body at all. So there is no way he would be spotted in the second heaven.

Of course, the Dao Lord didn’t expect to see Monarch Giant Zombie here. After all, Giant Zombie was dead. That’s why the Dao Lord came to see who had killed one of his most powerful slaves and gave the incentive to the other Dao Lords to declare war on him.

The four other sects in the Blessed Heaven World had declared war on the Four Directions Sect. This was all because two out of five pathways in the Blessed Heaven World belonging to the Four Directions Sect had been weakened.

Because of this, the Dao Lord was incensed. He came to see who was responsible for his losses and to take out his anger on them.

As the eyes roamed the second heaven, all they could see was a golden dragon and some white wolves. The Dao Lord behind those eyes could tell without a doubt that these things were at rank 9. This meant that they were responsible for the deaths of Money Body and Giant Zombie.

It didn’t take much effort to determine that the dragon and the wolves were at rank 9. The fact that both of them could move in front of his eyes was proof that they had reached the limit of the power of the Sea of Worlds.

As for the dragon’s thoughts, those required more power. The Dao Lord found this odd.

Something about the mind of this dragon was blocking his sight. This was odd because no being below the level of a Dao Lord should be able to hide their thoughts from a Dao Lord. In fact, some weak Dao Lords can’t hide their thoughts from stronger Dao Lords.

As the strongest Dao Lord in this domain of reality, nothing should be able to hide its thoughts from him. This turned out to be the case a second later.

The Dao Lord was able to see the dragon’s thoughts. It was just that the thoughts came a second later.

After he breached the defenses of the mind of the dragon, he heard the dragon think, "Oh shit. A Dao Lord is here."

This made him sneer and say, "What did you expect? You killed two of my slaves. Did you think you could get away with it?"

He was asking those questions to hear the dragon’s thoughts about them and learn how a rank 9 being suddenly appeared in the Blessed Heaven World. So he was paying close attention to what the dragon had to think.

What he saw was the dragon think, "So that’s where Dao Lords are? They are in the third heaven."

Then the dragon thought, "This is the second heaven. Is a Dao Lord also restricted here? Can I take on a Dao Lord here?"

None of what the dragon thought about was what he wanted to know. This annoyed the Dao Lord and served as fuel for his anger.

In his anger, the Dao Lord said, "You want to see the power of a Dao Lord? You will have what you wish."

As he spoke, a black colossal hand formed between heaven and earth. This black hand was like a pillar between heaven and earth, supporting the heavens.

As the pillar was created, spirit creatures of various kinds were ripped apart and converted into the law fragments of the pathway of slavery. So it looked as if the world was helping the Dao Lord to attack him.

Even before the colossal black hand could be completed, it was already rushing down to press Loki into the ground. During this process, its power continued to increase. Loki could estimate that by the time the hand reached him, it would be complete and at the apex of its power.

Loki was on the ground of the second heaven, looking up at the colossal hand in anticipation. He was full of anticipation because he expected that the power of a Dao Lord and his should be on the same level since both of them shouldn’t be able to use the power of their Cave Heaven and the power of their law fragments.

He thought that he stood a chance against the hand. But when he saw the hand commandeer the surrounding law fragments for its use, he knew he was wrong.

Then Fenrir picked up the power of the hand. Now that it was a Supreme Metac, it seemed it had gained the capacity to tell the power of a Dao Lord.
