Chapter 1753: Chapter 941: Fat Uncle

Lin Feng followed the chubby uncle into the courtyard, where two individuals stood outside, both dressed as they usually do.

Lin Feng deliberately released his spiritual sense to probe them, but he couldn’t discern their cultivation level. This was enough to show the gap between Lin Feng and them, at least by more than two realms.

Lin Feng’s inability to perceive does not mean Hua Shengmi was unaware, as she reminded Lin Feng: "Both of these individuals possess the Eight Spirit Knot."

"What Eight Spirit Knot? These two are Eight Spirit Knot, which in the Six Great Sects would at least be an Elder or Sect Leader." Lin Feng was somewhat astonished, seemingly disbelieving Hua Shengmi’s words.

Yet Hua Shengmi continued: "The other party’s identity is a Princess, so having two experts with the Eight Spirit Knot here for protection is certainly normal."

Lin Feng thought it over, and Hua Shengmi’s words made a lot of sense.

Just as he was disputing with Hua Shengmi, the person who had delivered the message earlier came out of the room, accompanied by a beautiful woman dressed in embroidered finery, with a truly captivating figure and grace.

The woman opened her peach-pink lips and spoke to Lin Feng and the chubby uncle: "My Princess is now waiting in the hall, please follow me." Her voice was warm and courteous, exhibiting everything naturally and elegantly.

Upon hearing the woman’s words, the chubby uncle replied politely: "Then, I must trouble the lady to lead the way."

After the chubby uncle finished speaking, he turned to Lin Feng, and after exchanging glances, they stepped up to the steps under the roof.

The steps were made of solid wood, with beams on both sides supporting the eaves, beneath which a sliding door was exceptionally quaint and elegant, exuding the air of a great establishment.

Lin Feng walked step by step through this arrangement and went into the room, which was cozy and unique.

In the center only stood a square tea table, requiring guests to sit on mats. Below the tea table, a white wool carpet was arranged, and the room had a warming stove specifically fueled by charcoal, the flames providing a thousand paths of warmth.

In the furnace, the stacked charcoal was about to be consumed, made of high-grade wood, with no smoke or toxic vapors, and was beneficial to health.

From the scent of the firewood, Lin Feng could tell that it was premium spiritual wood.

No wonder the whole room was so warm; after all, this furnace burning spiritual wood is also a Spiritual Treasure, allowing safe warmth without sparking flames.

Arriving inside, one could see a graceful woman, clothed in beautiful attire, sitting beside the tea table. Lin Feng stepped forward and immediately recognized her as the woman he had encountered during his previous intrusion.

The woman, as the host, first spoke: "Please sit."

Lin Feng and the chubby uncle each took a seat, then were served tea by designated personnel.

The woman spoke, "Does the young master remember me?" Her gaze was full of affectionate looks at Lin Feng.

Lin Feng was somewhat bewildered and replied, "So, you are the Princess; I was foolish in not realizing it before."

The woman intentionally concealed the truth from Lin Feng that day, which could hardly be blamed on him.

The chubby uncle, hearing the Princess speak, excitedly exclaimed, "Oh, you two already knew each other?"

Lin Feng was about to respond, but the Princess spoke first.

"Uh, we met once by chance, which was a coincidence." The Princess spoke and then gently smiled.

The chubby uncle knew that Lin Feng and the Princess had met, so he didn’t keep the mystery.

Just watching, the chubby uncle told Lin Feng, "The Court now is not what it used to be."

This statement puzzled Lin Feng somewhat, so he asked the chubby uncle, "How is the Court different from before? Please explain in detail."

The chubby uncle left the explanation to the Princess, who told Lin Feng: "To be honest, the Emperor has been replaced; the current Emperor is an impersonator."

Lin Feng didn’t speak, just listened as the Princess continued the story, as it was a major issue involving the safety of the Human Realm.

"I now have ample evidence that the impersonating Emperor is false; after five years of investigation, I have found out where they have imprisoned the real Emperor." Saying this, the Princess appeared wise as if she had a thorough plan.

She seemed to need someone to help her; upon meeting Lin Feng last time, she felt she had found the right person.

"City Lord Lin, I now address you by this title." The Princess finished speaking to Lin Feng and looked at him for a moment.

Lin Feng nodded to the Princess, seemingly sensing he was drawn into a shocking conspiracy.

"I heard you once led a thousand troops alone to annihilate three thousand Hasa forces, lastly joining forces with the Six Great Sects to repel a hundred thousand enemies."

Lin Feng did not reply, just waited for the Princess to continue, realizing this was why she chose him to help, as it concerned the greater good of the Human Realm, outweighing personal matters.

Now that Su Liqian’s whereabouts are clear, Lin Feng needs only to go to Yunzhou to meet with her. At this moment, the reliability of the Princess’s words remains uncertain, but Lin Feng decided to be part of this.

The Princess did not stop speaking, continuing to tell Lin Feng: "We now need a hero like you; are you willing to assist me in restoring the former splendid land?"
