Chapter 2668: Chapter 2668: What’s There to Be Afraid Of? It’s Not Against the Law!

Looking at Samir Coffey’s expression as if he had a toothache, Carson Flores laughed.

It seems that Samir isn’t too eager to see me!

Come to think of it, it makes sense. He possessed my father’s body, and I’m like his creditor, always thinking about how to reclaim my father’s body. Naturally, as the debtor, he doesn’t want to see the creditor.

Carson Flores replied with a grin, "I was on a mission, passed by here, sensed your presence, and thought I’d come see you. What’s the matter? Not happy to see me?"

Samir Coffey grinned: "Happy... of course, I’m happy."

Roderic Tate watched the two greet each other and confirmed that they indeed knew one another. Although Samir Coffey’s reaction wasn’t overly enthusiastic, it was clear they weren’t enemies, which finally put his mind at ease.

"Samir Coffey, Mr. Flores is a Battle Hall disciple from Myriad Immortals Palace, here specifically to see you."

"Myriad Immortals Palace?"

Samir Coffey first showed surprise, then a strange expression: "You joined the Myriad Immortals Palace?"

"Yep."

Carson Flores took out a token and waved it at Samir Coffey: "What, you don’t believe me?"

Samir Coffey’s tone was subtle: "You quietly snuck into the Immortal Palace Envoy position before, is it the same this time?"

Carson Flores immediately understood the reason behind Samir Coffey’s strange expression. He was implying that back in the Thunder Immortal Realm, Carson had hugged the thigh of the Domain Master’s daughter, acquired a special status as Immortal Palace Envoy, and now slipped into Myriad Immortals Palace to become a Battle Hall disciple, perhaps using the same tricks and still going through women.

Carson Flores laughed, "What kind of look is that? The Eastern Radiance Myriad Immortals Conference, Immortal Hall disciple selection, I was legitimately selected, not by pulling any strings."

Samir Coffey nodded, saying no more, considering Roderic Tate was still there.

Carson Flores turned and smiled, "Elder Tate, Samir Coffey and I have not seen each other for many years; now we’ve reunited, it’s a delightful surprise. If you don’t mind, I’d like to talk to him alone."

Roderic Tate cheerfully agreed, "That’s no problem at all. Samir Coffey, show Mr. Flores around. Although your friends, guests are guests. You must take care of the guest and not neglect him."

Samir Coffey bowed, "Yes, Uncle... Carson Flores, come with me."

Carson Flores followed Samir Coffey out of the main hall, flying towards the distant mountains, and then landed halfway up one of the slopes.

Carson Flores looked around, "Is your cave mansion here?"

Samir Coffey sneered, "It’s just that no one is around here, making it convenient to talk."

Carson Flores teased, "We are old friends, reunited after so long, and you don’t take me to your cave mansion for good wine and meat, instead bringing me to a desolate place. Is this how you host guests?"

Samir Coffey mocked, "Old friend, you’re always thinking about getting rid of me, yet you want me to wine and dine you. Dream on!"

Carson Flores turned his body, gazing at the endless beautiful view in front, laughed, "If we don’t eat, we don’t eat. Why did you want to join the Illusory Snake Sect, for its ancient inheritance?"

Samir Coffey’s expression changed slightly, "What nonsense are you spouting? I’m from the Demon Race; choosing a Demon Cultivator sect is normal. As you know, the solitary cultivation path is dangerous without a strong backer."

Carson Flores shook his head, "I don’t believe it!"

Samir Coffey raised an eyebrow, scoffing, "No need for you to believe."

Carson Flores laughed, "I know you quite well. You always have a clear purpose for everything you do. You’ve reached the Great Land, with your ability and means, joining the Twelve Immortal Gates shouldn’t be a problem, not to mention other sects. Yet you joined such a declining sect. Still saying you have no motives?"

Samir Coffey was slightly unnerved as his secret was exposed, "Are you here to investigate, asking so many details?"

Carson Flores laughed heartily, "Seems I hit the mark!"

Samir Coffey grunted coldly, "I joined Illusory Snake Sect to learn its divine skills. Isn’t that normal? Others keep boasting about their rich history and glorious past. I just play along."

Carson Flores asked curiously, "Come on, what’s it about?"

Samir Coffey glared at Carson Flores, seeming unwilling to say. Carson Flores persistently stared at his eyes, waiting.

Samir Coffey, beaten by Carson Flores’ persistence, replied helplessly, "Sand King’s Fantasy Serpent Technique."

Carson Flores asked curiously, "Is it powerful?"

"Ancient inheritance, top tier martial art, you tell me if it’s powerful?"

Samir Coffey rolled his eyes and reminded Carson Flores, "Don’t go spreading this around, or I’ll be in trouble!"

Carson Flores laughed, "Why worry, you’re a disciple of Illusory Snake Sect, wanting to learn its top tier martial arts is a normal expectation, not illegal, right?"

Samir Coffey ignored Carson Flores, sneering, "How did you find me?"

Carson Flores replied, "I found my father’s body, not you."

Samir Coffey was enlightened, "Bloodline Traction Technique, right?"

Carson Flores nodded, staring at Samir Coffey, said in a low voice, "Yes, I came specifically to find you this time, hoping you’ll fulfill your past promise..."
