Chapter 110: The Day They Visited Her House (1)

Saturday finally arrived.

So far, only her close friends had visited her apartment, and that was a year ago, when she first moved in. They insisted on coming over with wine, snacks, and housewarming gifts that she still keeps to this day.

But this time felt completely different. She would have a very special guest.

Since Zachary left her apartment last night, Sienna had not slept properly at all.

The moment she closed her eyes, countless thoughts filled her mind one after another.

Would her apartment feel too small?

Would the food be enough?

Would Zachary secretly hate homemade dishes?

What if Sky became uncomfortable staying here?

And worst of all... What if she accidentally embarrassed herself in front of them?

By morning, her brain already felt exhausted.

Sienna simply lay on the bed while staring blankly at the ceiling above her, trying to think clearly despite the headache slowly forming behind her eyes.

After a few seconds, she reached toward the bedside table and checked the digital clock.

Her eyes widened immediately.

"Seven already?!"

She instantly threw away the blanket and rushed toward the bathroom in panic.

The apartment immediately became chaotic.

The sound of drawers opening, cabinets closing, and hurried footsteps echoed everywhere as she tried getting ready as quickly as possible.

Not long after finishing her morning routine, Sienna finally changed into comfortable home clothes—a loose cream sweater and soft black pants. Simple enough not to look overdressed, but still presentable.

At least that was what she hoped.

She had just finished tying her hair when her cell phone suddenly vibrated on the bedside table.

Sienna immediately grabbed it.

Just like she expected, Logan’s name appeared on the screen.

Quickly, she answered the call.

"Good morning, Miss Sienna..."

Logan’s polite and respectful voice came from the other end.

"Morning..." she replied while fixing the sleeve of her sweater.

"Miss, I’ve arrived right in front of your apartment."

Sienna blinked once before quickly walking toward the apartment monitor.

"Oh, right. Would you give me a second?"

She immediately opened the access door for him.

A few moments later, the sound of footsteps echoed outside her apartment.

Sienna walked toward the entrance casually, then froze completely. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

Logan stood outside politely as usual, but behind him were several men carrying large cardboard boxes in both hands.

Sienna stared at them in complete disbelief as the men entered one after another and headed straight toward her kitchen.

Large boxes filled both counters almost immediately: Vegetables, fruits, meat, seafood, sauces, snacks, rice, flavor, and even drinks.

Sienna was utterly speechless.

"Logan..." she finally spoke weakly while staring at the growing mountain of groceries. "Is Zach trying to open a supermarket inside my apartment?"

Logan nearly smiled but controlled himself professionally.

"These are the groceries and fresh produce Mr. Zach prepared for you, Miss."

"Prepared?" she repeated in disbelief. "This looks like preparation for the apocalypse."

One of the workers accidentally coughed while trying not to laugh.

Even Logan’s lips twitched slightly.

Sienna shook her head faintly and stared helplessly at the boxes.

"I told him I only needed groceries for cooking. I remember giving him a list. Did he lose it or something?"

"Yes, Miss," Logan answered, as calm and respectful as before.

"You know, with this many groceries and fresh produce, I could cook for the entire building."

"Yes, perhaps you can, Miss."

Sienna was simply at a loss for words upon hearing that. She realized that complaining or joking with Logan was like talking to a sound-absorbing wall—no matter what she said, she wouldn’t get any feedback.

She narrowed her eyes suspiciously at him. "Are you secretly enjoying this?"

Logan lowered his head slightly, though the amusement in his eyes became obvious. "I would never."

"You almost smiled."

"I apologize, Miss."

That only made Sienna sigh helplessly.

Within minutes, the men finished arranging everything neatly inside the kitchen. They moved so quickly that Sienna barely processed what was happening before they politely excused themselves and left just as fast.

Soon, only Logan remained standing near the entrance.

"Miss Sienna, if you need anything else, please don’t hesitate to contact me."

"Logan..."

"Yes, Miss?"

"...Did Zach really think I could finish all this?"

Logan answered calmly, "Master said, ’You should not skip meals because you will think clearly when your stomach is full.’"

Sienna froze instantly. "He... He said that?"

"Yes, Miss."

’What the heck, Zach...’ She can’t help but scold him in her head.

A faint smile finally appeared on Logan’s usually calm face before he lowered his head politely once again.

"I will excuse myself now."

Before Sienna could say anything, Logan had already left.

The apartment became quiet again.

Slowly, Sienna turned toward the kitchen.

Then she stared at the ten large boxes full of ingredients, completely shocked.

She genuinely believed those groceries could cover her food needs for at least two months.

"Zach..." she muttered helplessly while taking out her cell phone. "I told you many times... I just needed some groceries, but you sent me all this? This is not some, this is plenty."

Despite her words, a smile slowly appeared on her lips. Her thumb hovered above the screen, ready to text him.

But after a few seconds, she stopped herself.

Sienna let out a deep breath before placing the phone back into her pocket.

"Alright," she whispered while looking around the apartment nervously again. "This is not the time for you to argue with him."

She rolled up the sleeves of her sweater slowly.

"Alright, let’s sort this all out first and prepare for their arrival."

She needed more than an hour to store all the groceries.

By the time she finished, she felt exhausted.

But she couldn’t let her guard down. She should prepare now; otherwise, she may not be able to cook lunch for them.

She paused, looking at the clock on the wall.

"He said they would come at lunch, right?" she muttered, trying to recall their conversation from last night. "I still have time."

But before she could relax, her cell phone suddenly beeped with an incoming message.

"Morning, Sienna. Sky and I are heading to your house now." From: Zach
